Detached house with dentist's office

The subject of my thesis work is design of two storey basementless family house with dental surgery. The building is located in the quiet part of Lower Lutyne with good access to the surrounding towns. The residential part of the house is designed to stay four people. Access to the building and into the clinic is wheelchair accessible. Before entering the clinic there are 5 parking spaces, one of which is intended for people with reduced mobility. The building is based on the footings, which first part is from plain concrete and second is made from porous concrete blocks inserted into the frost resistant depts. External walls are made of sand-lime bricks 200 mm wide and with contact insulation system 200 mm wide. Ceiling structure is solved ceiling panels Spiroll 250 mm wide. The gabled roof is made of wood trusses. The project includes a seminary work focused on the evaluation of the structures in terms of thermal technology and acoustics.
Fire station

The subject of this thesis is to create a project documentation of the design of new construction of fire station in Šumperk. The fire station is designed according to ČSN 73 5710 as a C type station that will be used by professional fire brigade of Olomouc district. The object is structurally divided into two parts - a masonry building, and a reinforced concrete frame. The administrative part of the building together with the base of the fire brigade, technical room, and a fire tower are designed as a masonry building made of Ytong cellular concrete units. One of the parts is designed as a two-level object, while the technical room and the fire tower are designed as a sigle-level object. The circumferential masonry is insulated by contact thermal insulation system. The floor construction is made of Spiroll prestressed floor slabs. The roof is designed as a warm flat roof. The garage is a single-level building with built-in structure of storerooms in part of the garage. The precast reinforced concrete frame is set on foundation pads and foundation sills. The horizontal and vertical supporting structure consists of reinforced concrete parts – columns, Spiroll floor slabs, floor girders, sway frames, purlins and small purlins. The whole object is covered by a warm flat roof. The external cladding consists of PUR isolating sanwich panels.
Residence Sofie

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of the apartment house called Residence Sofie in Luhačovice (district Zlín). It is a five-storey building located in the center of the city on a planar terrain. The building consists of one underground and four above ground floors. In total there are 8 dwelling units, commercial premises and 6 garages. In the underground floor there is facilities for technical equipment of the building and storage. The ground floor consists mainly of garages and commercial premises. On the second floor there are 4 dwelling units and in the third and fourth 2 dwelling units. The object is designed from the longitudinal structural system of ceramic hollow blocks. The ceilings are část-in-place reinforced concrete and the roof is two-shed make of wooden trusses. The thesis contains design documentation for the implementation of the building.
Library and leisure centre in Slavkov u Brna

The main goal of this Master’s thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for a library and leisure centre in Slavkov u Brna. The project is divided into three parts. The first part is focused on architectural and structural design. The building will have two floors and a flat roof. The leisure centre will be located on the first floor and the public library on the second floor. The load-bearing walls will be made of aerated concrete blocks. The floor and roof structures will be made of reinforced concrete. The facade will be designed as ventilated. The second part of the thesis is focused with the design of selected building services: HVAC, rainwater management, lighting and photovoltaics. The building will be mechanically ventilated. Space and domestic hot water heating will be provided by heat pumps (air / water). Rainwater will be collected and used for irrigation. Electricity consumption will be partly covered by a photovoltaic power plant from the flat roof. The third part of the thesis is focused on the evaluation of the building in terms of the multicriteria analysis method. For this evaluation the national methodology SBToolCZ is used.

The building is made of ceramic block, the ceiling and flat roof is designed as monolithic construcion, pitched roof is made as wooden roof construction. House is projected as Low energy detached house.
Detached house with pet shop

The subject of this bachelor theses is a design of detached house with pet shop attached to it. It is situated in Klobušice, which is a suburban part of the city of Ilava. The site includes parking space for three cars for shop customers and one for occupants. The house is two storey building without basement. It is divided into two functional areas, the pet shop area and the living area. The living area is designed for four people. Living area roofing is designed as a shed roof with 8° slope and the pet shop area is covered by vegetative roof with 3° slope. For load-bearing walls the Silka sand-lime blocks are used insulated with thermal insulation of mineral wool mounted on the exterior side of the wall. The house is built on foundation slab, which is laid on a layer of foamed glass brash. The house is designed as passive house including ventilation with heat recovery. The theses contain project documentation for the construction and an essay - Structural parts and building evaluation in terms of thermal engineering and acoustics requirements.
Single-family detached house in Březina

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the development of a documentation for a detached family house in Březina. The house is designed for four people and consists two floors. Gable roof is over the main house and a flat roof over the adjacent carport, which has green roof. The base slab is made of reinforced concrete and is placed on a layer of foam glass aggregate. The envelope walls are designed from ceramic blocks filled with insulation. The carport is made of fair-faced reinforced concrete. The first floor contains an utility room, a study, a bathroom, a small toilet and a social part of the house. On the second floor is the private part of the house which consists of a master bedroom, rooms, and a bathroom and a separate toilet. The HVAC systems are designed for proper functionality of the building. The house will be heated using an air-to-water heat pump and heat distribution will be ensured through underfloor heating. The air exchange will be ensured by an air handling unit in combination with heat recovery. Fresh air will be supplied to living areas and extracted via sanitary facilities outside the home. Rainwater will be accumulated in a tank and further used for garden irrigation. Excess water will be infiltrated into the ground on the property. The project also includes an energy label prepared in the Energetika software. The designed family house falls into the classification class ,,A - exceptionally energy efficient'".
Timber house with crawl space

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to design a single storey detached passive house with crawl space in Svitávka. First part of the thesis is structural and architectural design of the house. Main living area comprises a living room connected with a kitchen, facing south-west. Two children’s bedrooms face south and the master bedroom faces east. Bathroom, toilet and utility room faces north. There’s a terrace adjacent to the southern facade of the building and a carport with a storage on the west side. The loadbearing structure of the house is timber frame supported by reinforced concrete foundation pads. External walls and floor are insulated with mineral wool, the flat roof is insulated with blow-in cellulose. Part of this thesis is research about crawl space and whether this type of foundation with ventilated gap works safely in our environment. Second part of the thesis is design of building services. The house is connected to electricity service line, water service pipe and sanitary sewer. Ventilation, domestic hot water heating and part of the space heating is ensured by multi-unit Nilan Compact with heat recovery. Auxiliary heat sources are a soapstone stove placed in the living room and electric heating panels. There are photovoltaic panels on the roof of the house. Rainwater is collected from the roofs and stored in stormwater tank for flushing the toilet and watering of the garden.
Nursing home Ivančice

The aim of the thesis is to design and develop project documentation for the new construction of a retirement home. The old age home is located on a piece of land in Ivančice. The building has been designed as a stand-alone building and is divided into two parts SO 01 and SO 02. Part SO 01 has three above-ground floors and a connecting corridor that has four above-ground floors belonging to it. This whole part has a basement. The operation of the laundry and kitchen is located in the basement, which also includes cleaning facilities, a garage, workshop, mortuary and technical facilities. In the first above-ground floor there is a dining room, doctor's office, offices, a cafe and a hairdresser. Rooms are located on the second and third floors. This section is tailored for clients with Alzheimer's disease and senile dementia. There are seven double rooms on each floor. Part So 02 has four above-ground floors without a basement. There are eight double rooms on each floor. Implementation documentation has been processed for only object So 01. The retirement home is based on reinforced concrete footings and belts. The structural system consists of reinforced concrete columns. The perimeter walls in the basement are reinforced concrete. On the above-ground floors, the outer shell is made of infill masonry of ceramic blocks of the THERM type. A reinforced concrete slab is designed as the ceiling structure. The staircase is one piece also made from reinforced concrete. The balcony slabs are prefabricated. The roof is flat. The building envelope is insulated with the ETICS contact insulation system.
Sports and rehabilitation centre Bílovice nad Svitavou

The subject of the diploma thesis is to design and develop project documentation for the new building of the Sports and Rehabilitation Center in Bílovice nad Svitavou with almost zero energy consumption in the scope of the construction. The sports and rehabilitation center is located on the outskirts of the village of Bílovice nad Svitavou. It is a detached, two-story, non-basement building located on sloping terrain. An outdoor sports field will also be built on the property in the form of a multifunctional field, a beach volleyball court and outdoor changing rooms. The building primarily functions as a sports center. On the first above-ground floor, there are mainly changing rooms and sanitary facilities for visitors to the center and trainers, two squash courts, a gym and technical facilities. Part of the second above-ground floor is intended for rehabilitation and massage areas. The rest of the second floor consists of two multifunctional halls. The structural system of the building is longitudinal wall. It is based on plain concrete foundation strips. The roofs of the sports center are designed as flat single skins. The load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls are made of KMB Sendwix sand-lime bricks, and the ceiling structures are made of Spiroll pre-stressed ceiling panels.
