Mgr. et Mgr. Adam SÝKORA: Missale Posoniense I. - diplomatic edition (rigorous thesis), Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Catholic Theology, 2011. In the present thesis the author provides a diplomatic edition of one of the oldest collegial missals of Bratislava Chapter House: Missale Posoniense I. It is a central source of European significance, which is pattern normative and representative in relation to the similar landmarks (eg Missale Posoniense A, B, C, II., III., IV.), and which was used in the Bratislava Chapter House before 1341st. The text of this Missal was previously published only in facsimile form, which bears the technical limitations of the period of its creation. Since that time, other foils have been discovered that have not been published at all. Professional public now has the text, with which can work effectively, moreover, it paves the way for a critical edition of the full text of the preserved parts, which the author intends to publish as dissertation. Keywords: Roman Missal, Missale Romanum, Missale Posoniense I., Bratislava Missal I., Missale Bratislaviense I. (sic), Missale notatum Strigoniense, Ordinary, proprium, diplomatic edition.

CHARLES UNIVERSITY PRAGUE Catholic Theological Faculty Department of Theological Ethics and Spiritual Theology ThLic.Mgr. Ing. David Seifert THE POST-CONCILIAR RENEWAL OF THE PERMANENT DIACONATE HISTORY - THEOLOGY - SPIRITUALITY Doctoral thesis Resume Thesis adviser: ThLic. Vojtěch Kohut Th.D. PRAHA 2011 2 CONTENT CONTENT ................................................................................................................................. 2 RESUME.................................................................................................................................... 3 List of sources and literature ...................................................................................................... 4 3 RESUME The trends of the contemporary theology of diaconate are based on the old-christian practice of diaconate mainly in sense of the variety of the services in church and plurality within the frame of the church office, which is justified richly theologically, namely trinitarily. In the light of relationship between the service and the community is just the variety of services in the local church understood as the fullness of the mission, which just the local Church is called to accomplish and live. The question therefore is to answer the question of identity of diaconate through...
Catechesis as an Introduction to the Mass: A Protestant's view
Živný, Tomáš ; Beneš, Ladislav (advisor) ; Opatrný, Aleš (referee)
Katecheze jako uvedení do mše : Očima jednoho evangelíka Summary Catechesis as an introduction to the Mass: A Protestant's view In my diploma thesis I address the relationship between catechesis and the Mass, namely how the believers of the Catholic Church are acquainted with what is (or is meant to be) the centerpiece of their religious life. In the first - theoretical - part of the paper I first explain what the Mass is and how it has evolved historically, which gradually leads me to the analysis of its present form and content. I then turn my attention to catechesis, whose historical development I outline as well, and to its place among the various services of the Church. I also mention the close connection between catechesis and liturgy, which both contain a dimension of the other.Another common feature of catechesis and the Mass is that they are both Christocentric, yet at the same time anthropological in their focus on man. In the second part of my thesis I deal with the practical form of introduction to the Mass, which takes place with the help of catechetical aids (catechisms, books or coloring books). I analyze these aids and then conclude with the mention of the liturgical basis of the catechesis of converts and of those who are preparing for their First Holy Communion. Keywords catechesis, Mass,...

Gliganičová, Jana ; Opatrný, Aleš (advisor) ; Kuźniar, Mariusz (referee)
The bachelor thesis contains the analysis of four volumes of the textbook of world and Czech history for grammar school and high school students, written in Czech language: 'Dějepis pro gymnázia a střední školy', Praha 2001 - 2002, author of it's conception is Petr Čornej. The bachelor thesis evaluates the frequency of content related to Christianity to all of the content of the texbook. This frequency in four volumes is 5,25%, 35,80%, 3,83% and 2,21% respectively. The bachelor thesis also identifies all the negative or positive statements on Christianity. The result of the thesis is that the frequency of content related to Christianity is adequate, if we take into consideration that the textbook mainly deals with political history. The negative and positive statements are not an intention of the authors, but a result of mistakes, clumsiness and unintentional acceptation of historical paterns we could find in school texbooks in era of the former state regime.

The Impact of the Society of Jesus on education in The Czech lands
Bulířová, Michaela ; Opatrný, Aleš (advisor) ; Kuźniar, Mariusz (referee)
Firstly, the present thesis, "The Impact of The Society of Jezus on education in The Czech lands", introduces a person of Ignatius of Loyola, who founded the Society of Jezus, and gives a short overview of events including the establishment of the Society and its expansion mainly in Europe. Concerning this the thesis answers a question of some typical features of The Company. The history of the Society in the Czech lands follows. This chapter also includes some notable Czech members of the Society of Jesus. A view of process of education in the Czech lands introduces a second part of the thesis. In the second part of the thesis there is reflected education though time. There is pointed out the influence of the Society not only on process of school education, but also on process of education in general. However, it is difficult to see all of these in complexity of contemporary education. Moreover, it is not the point of the thesis to cover this complexity of problems of education, so the emphasis is put on some main periods and forms of Jesuits' activities. Considering all of this, of course it is possible to find some disadvantages of their impact on society, but anyway, in this case positive aspects are more noteworthy.
