Analogy and difference of ice skating and inline skating and their mutual use in teaching.
Ondráčková, Markéta ; Pokorný, Ladislav (advisor) ; Kainová, Lucie (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the correspondences and differences between inline skating and ice skating. In the theoretical part I introduce both types of skating. I describe the classification of these sports, basic equipment, safety, and the methodology of both skating types. In the theoretical part there is also a chapter on the suitability of skating in relation to the age of the child. In the practical part I verify a unified methodical series that I designed for both types of skating. The main aim of the thesis is to compare the practice of inline skating and ice skating techniques from the point of view of their correspondences and differences. The partial objectives are to find out whether it is possible to transfer the acquired skills from one type of skating to the other, to find out whether it is possible to design a unified methodology for the acceleration of mastering the basic requirements. Furthermore, to investigate the influence of ice skating and inline skating teaching methodologies on the level of skill when switching to the second skating technique. The following methods are used in the thesis: the observation method, experimental method, assessment scale and arithmetic mean. The results of the thesis show that both types of skating are very similar, so one type of skating can...
Detection of extracellular microRNAs in maternal circulation - diagnosis and prognosis of pregnancy related complications
Ondráčková, Markéta ; Hromadníková, Ilona (advisor) ; Daňková, Pavlína (referee)
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small noncoding RNAs of length 18 to 25 nucleotides that regulate gene expression posttranscriptionally. Expression of some miRNAs is tissue specific. I assumed that pregnancy induced complications associated with placental insufficiency could be characterized by a unique profil of placental-specific miRNAs in maternal circulation. I measured concentration and gene expression of selected miRNAs (miR-516-5p, miR-517*, miR-518b, miR-520a*, miR-520h, miR-525 and miR-526a) in the plasma of patients with preeclampsia (PE), fetal growth restriction (FGR) and gestational hypertension (GH). The control group consisted of patients with a normal course of pregnancy (FG). I processed 168 plasma samples, the representation of individual diagnosis were as follows: PE 63, FGR 27, GH 23, FG 55. Detection and quantification was carried out by quantitative real-time PCR. I identified three miRNAs with elevated levels in a group of preeclamptic patients: miR-517*, miR-520a* and miR-525. The severity of the PE, which was characterized by a form of the disease (mild or severe PE) and term (before or after the 34th week of pregnancy), did not have a statistically significant effect on the levels of miRNAs. More than a quarter of patients had PE superimposed on previous hypertension. Previous history of...
Effect of celiac disease on growth and bone density.
Ondráčková, Markéta ; Zemková, Daniela (advisor) ; Tůma, Jan (referee)
Celiac disease is a chronic autoimmune disease of the small intestine caused by intolerance to gluten. The disease is characterized by impairment of intestinal mucosa, it is associated with malabsorption and maldigestion. The main symptoms are stomach pain, diarrhea, anemia, failure to thrive. Recently, the number of patients with atypical symptoms and a completely asymptomatic form of the disease increases. Prevalence of the disease in Europe is 1 %. The aim of this paper is to describe how celiac disease affects the status of bone tissue and what is its impact on growth in children.

This study, which has been running since 2008, examines the use of the Hamry Water Reservoir as a model for fish community biomanipulation studies with the aim of improving water quality. Of primary interest to the Reservoir administrators, the Elbe River Basin authority s.p., is the maintenance of high water quality for drinking purposes, thereby preventing conflict of interest with multiple stakeholders. In addition, the study aims to determine whether biomanipulation of fish communities can be undertaken effectively in a reservoir.

V příkladové studii na Bílině se ryby na úrovni společenstva projevily jako dobrý a rychlý indikátor ekologického stavu toku, avšak pro indikaci chemických látek v řece je nutné hodnotit specifické parametry na úrovni jedince.
