Possibilities of controlling the output characteristics of the peristaltic pump
Odehnal, Martin ; Formánek, Martin (referee) ; Jagoš, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the possibilities of controlling the output characteristics of a peristaltic pump. First, the peristaltic pumps themselves, their design and principles of operation are analyzed. Furthermore, their applications and a description of their use in biomedical applications are described. The main part of this review describes the output characteristics of a peristaltic pump with a follow-up chapter devoted to the possibilities of their control. Here, the options are divided according to their nature into three groups: software, hardware and their combinations. The possibility of variable speed control during the cycle belongs to the category of software control and its implementation is performed in the practical part of this work. This option was chosen due to its universal use, both in the elimination and modulation of pulsation. As part of the work, different schemes were designed that allow variable control of the rotor speed of the stepper motor during one revolution in four modes according to the choice of speed profile.
Development of voltage instrument transformer resistible against higher harmonics
Mihályi, Róbert ; Odehnal, Martin (referee) ; Bušov, Bohuslav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes the basic principles of transformer operation in the first part. The following chapters focus on issue of higher harmonic frequencies. Then it describes the basic design and principles of instrument transformers, which are the main subject of this work. At present, higher harmonic frequencies are becoming more and more common in electrical networks. Therefore, this work tries to bring new knowledge in the issue of higher harmonic frequencies in instrument transformers. The last chapters describe the computational design of an instrument transformer that resists higher harmonic frequencies. This transformer must be able to transfer these frequencies to the secondary winding. It was necessary to study the standards and technical literature related to this topic in order to create the proposal.
Development of monitoring device for voltage instrument transformes
Marčok, Samuel ; Odehnal, Martin (referee) ; Bušov, Bohuslav (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is instrument transformers and development of monitoring device for service purposes. The first chapter of this work is dedicated to a theoretical functionality of instrument transformers. It also deals with the instrument transformer as a separate unit according to norm EN 61869-1. Next chapter depicts instrumental transformer as a part of switchgear UniGear ZS1 (a product of ABB) and its standard working conditions. The results of these two separate chapters are two views of the instrument transformer, the first as a separate device and the second as part of the unit (switchgear), which in each case must be adapted to different conditions. A separate chapter describes the effects of temperature, humidity, pressure, altitude, vibration and discharges on the instrument transformer. The work further explains the physical nature of selected quantities and describes the methods of their monitoring. The conclusion of the work is a summary of the acquired knowledge and a brief overview of the results of the work.
Evaluation of the Economic Situation of the Selected Private Corporation Using Financial Analysis Methods and Proposals to its Improvement
Odehnal, Martin ; poradce, Svatopluk Dojiva, daňový (referee) ; Hanušová, Helena (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis is focused on the evaluation of the financial analysis of the selected business company. The theoretical part defines the theoretical basis of financial analysis, which is subsequently applied in the practical part. Based on the results of the financial analysis, the financial situation of the company is evaluated and recommendations for improving the current situation are proposed.
Evaluation of the Performance of the Chosen Enterprise
Odehnal, Martin ; Malíř, Jan (referee) ; Luňáček, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the performance of a company engaged in the custom manufacturing of dietary supplements. The thesis is divided into theoretical, computational and evaluation parts. To evaluate the performance, selected indicators of financial analysis, their systems, economic value added, and finally strategic SWOT analysis are used. In the last part, the development of each indicator is evaluated using graphs, compared with industry averages, recommended values and among themselves.
The origin of Jupiter Trojans
Odehnal, Martin ; Brož, Miroslav (advisor) ; Ďurech, Josef (referee)
The Jupiter Trojans are a group of at least 12, 000 asteroids located in the vicinity of the Lagrange points L4 and L5. There are several theories for the origin of Trojans, such as the chaotic capture during the 1:2 resonance of Jupiter and Saturn, the Jumping Jupiter scenario, or the capture in a gaseous disk. New models, however, show important hydrodynamic phenomena in a gaseous disk during planetary migration, which could also affect Trojan capture, such as the growth of eccentricity or inclination of protoplanets (Chrenko et al. 2017, Eklund & Masset 2017). We performed two-fluid hydrodynamic simulations of a protoplanetary disk consisting of gas and pebbles, with one 20 ME Jupiter-like protoplanet rapidly growing via gas accretion, and computed trajectories and the capture efficiency of small asteroids, from 10 m up to 10 km in diameter. In our simulations, we found that 29 out of 100 hundred-meter planetesimals placed on circular orbits near the growing circular proto-Jupiter were captured in L4/L5. In the case of proto-Jupiter having non-zero initial eccentricity and inclination, the captured orbits of 100 m and 10 km planetesimals were unstable and eventually left the Trojan region. On the contrary, 10 m planetesimals stayed on stable orbits due to aerodynamic drag. The inclinations of captured...
