Powertrain of in-line three-cylinder diesel engine

Objective of bachelor’s thesis is for main predetermined geometric, thermodynamic and operation parameters cylindrical unit of line three-cylinder compression-ignition engine perform calculation of thermodynamic cycle, project basic dimensions of piston group and for noted operating modes perform strength check of con rod eye. Resulting values compare with comparable compression-ignition engine and verify its appropriate functionality. In preamble of work is mentioned compression-ignition engine, its basic usage, principle of function and description its main parts. The work is compound of two basic parts. The first contains description of calculation with related graphic and the second calculating supplement in which are calculations of thermodynamic cycle, forces reacting on piston group, strength calculation and control of con rod eye. At the close results of calculation are analysed.

Belt Drive for Valvetrains

This bachelor’s thesis deals with belt drive of valve timing mechanisms, estimation of their vanteges or disavantages. In the first section treat of drive for valvetrains generally, summary description of different drives types and comparison their features and right application. In the second section deals specially with toothed belt systems – construction of toothed belts, their types, marking, most frequent failure, tension and guide. In the last section is showed real solution of timming belt drive.

Gear Timing Mechanism for Valvetrains

The objective of this thesis is to provide an overview of geared valvetrain. In introduction are described individual types of gears and their application in combustion engines. Then, the thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter provides a thorough analysis of geared valvetrain. Also, individual parts of valvetrain together with alternative methods of valve timing are briefly introduced. The chapter then follows to examine the working principle of gears, how forces and moments are transmitted, advantages of introducing helical gears instead of spur gears, different ways of gear manufacturing, gear material selection, heat treatment of gears and common gear failure mechanisms. The second chapter examines pros and cons of using geared valvetrains. The third chapter shows examples of how are geared valvetrains applied in tractors, trucks, ships, trains, cars and motorcycles. In the conclusion, the main advantages of using geared valvetrains are discussed and the whole thesis is summerized.

Information Systém Utilization in the Sphere of City Management

Subject of my Bachelor´s work is problems of treatment of waste in cities with a population over 50 000 inhabitants. It especially includes ways of salvage of sorted waste and subsequent utility of secondary raw materials, which are situated in municipal waste and examples of systems of salvage and bringing together. The work also includes indicative data of quantity of produced and sorted waste in the city. With using information which are included in the bachelors work, which was obtained mostly with using information systems, is observed by Plan of waste economy of the city with taking scout of Plan of waste economy of region focusing on salvage of separated waste.

Dopady uplatňování daně z přidané hodnoty u obcí

This diploma thesis deals with impacts of the application of value added tax by municipalities. It explains the basic concepts of value added tax in the context with activities of municipalities. Municipalities have more difficult position with apply-ing value added tax. Municipalities must distinguish between economic activity and public administration. Thesis focuses to taxpayer and non-taxpayer. For tax-payers is their current situation evaluated and possible changes are proposed. In case of non-taxpayer is possibility of voluntary registration to value added tax con-sidered and the impact of registration to municipal budget. In thesis are proposed possible changes of current value added tax legislation.

Definice elektrošrotu, pojmy, požadavky na množství OEEZ na hlavu a rok, zpětný odběr zařízení, sběr OEEZ, kritéria pro demontáž, požadavky na druhotnou surovinu z pohledu materiálové recyklace, skupiny EEZ, nebezpečné látky v malých domácích spotřebičích, součástky obsahující nebezpečné látky. Příloha 3: Možnosti energetického využití zůstatků OEEZ. Současný stav, problematika zbytkových odpadů po demontáži, obecnější pohled na problematiku alternativních paliv, hlášení o úpravě (zpracování), využívání a odstraňování elektroodpadů. Příloha 4: Finanční toky ve státech EU. Příloha 5: Podklady pro vypracování prováděcího právního předpisu k "elektrošrotové" novele zákona o odpadech.
