Nechvátalová, Klára ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Stupková, Michaela (referee)
Title: The effect of instrumental lymphatic drainage of the lower limbs on postural stability in patients with unilateral lymphedema. Aims: The main aim of this study is to asses the effect of instrumental lymphatic drainage on the static and dynamic postural stability in people with unilateral lymphedema of the lower extremities. Summary: The study was done in October 2020. Due to the epidemiological situation around the Covid-19 pandemic, 13 probands aged 30-80 years were included in the study. The circumferences of the lower limbs were measured before and after the application of instrumental lymphatic drainage. The postural stability of the probands was tested on the ProKin252 posturograph with the following tests: Stability Compared Double Stance, Limits of Stability and Balance Both Feet. Measurements by these tests were performed before and after instrumental lymphatic drainage intervention, which lasted 50 minutes. Lower limb circumference results were written into recording sheets and test results were downloaded from the patient's file in PDF format. Final data were processed using LibreOffice Calc and SciPy library tools. To calculate differences, the following statistical methods were used: Shapiro-Wilk test, Student's T-test and Wilkoxon paired sequence test. We used Fisher's exact...

Skalová, Tereza ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Šorfová, Monika (referee)
Title: Detection of Signs of Fatigue in Functional Tests in Healthy Population by OpenPose Objectives: The aim of this study is if the OpenPose system can detect changes in range of motion and unwanted movements of other segments in repetitive a full arm abduction test with weight and a single leg stance based on comparation of changes in angles and relative distances between first and last seconds of the movement. Methods: This pilot study was dedicated to healthy people between 18 and 65 years. A video recording was made within an intervention while subjects were doing a full arm abduction test with weight and a single leg stance until the maximum endurance. Videorecording was processed by the OpenPose software which detects human movements base on algorithm without using a physical markers. Key point combinations (markers) were defined to obtain information about changes in movement and posture (angles, relative distances). Basic statistical measurements were done and compared between first and last seconds of the movement. Temporospatial data were collected to reach the results. Results: Almost all differences in key point combinations to detect arm abduction movement were evaluated as statistically significant. Changes in single leg stance were usually evaluated as not statistically...
Ranges of joint mobility in the hip and ankle joints and evaluation of flat feet on a podoscope when finding hallux valgus in classical ballet dancers
Hlobilová, Magdaléna ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Maršáková, Kateřina (referee)
Title: Ranges of joint mobility in the hip and ankle joints and evaluation of flat feet on a podoscope when finding hallux valgus in classical ballet dancers Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to evaluate if selected parameters: passive range of motion (ROM) of rotations in hip joints, Q angle, passive range of motion of plantar flexion in ankle joints and the foot index are connected with the finding of hallux valgus (HV) diagnose. These factors will be compared between two groups of ballet dancers, one with HV and one without the HV diagnose. Methods: This observational case control study involved 30 probands between the age of 20-40 years. The experimental group consisted of classical ballet dances with the HV angle (HVA) >15ř at least on one foot (n1 = 19), in the control group were classical ballet dancers with the HVA <15ř bilaterally (n2 = 11). The HVA, ROM of the rotations in the hip joints, ROM of the plantar flexion in the ankle joints and Q angle were measured by a goniometer. The plantogram was captured by a photograph of the foot while standing on a podoscope and then it was evaluated by the Sztriter-Godunov method. Analysis of the data was done in R software by means of a Welch's Two-Sample t-Test and the correlation was given by Pearson's Correlation Coefficient. Results: Contrary...
Work related musculoskeletal disorders in professional ballet dancers
Stibor, Eva ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Maršáková, Kateřina (referee)
Thesis title: Work related musculoskeletal disorders in professional ballet dancers Objective: The high demands of the ballet dancers' profession are reflected especially within the individual dancer's musculoskeletal body system which is repeatedly exposed to a physical load that is specific for classical dance. The objective of this thesis is to find out what are the work related musculoskeletal disorders ("WRMD") in dancers who work in the Czech Republic, what risk factors prevail and which preventive strategies are applied to avoid the occurrence of WRMD. Methods: The stated objective was achieved by means of a questionnaire survey, during which randomly selected women/young adults with vocational training in ballet who are/were professional ballet dancers voluntarily filled in a questionnaire. In total, 56 ballet dancers within the region of the Czech Republic took part in this survey. The questionnaire consisted of open and closed questions and its conception was based on the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire ("NMQ"), with selected questions adapted to the specifics of the ballet profession. The first part of the questionnaire consisted of questions related to sociodemographic data, the next part aimed to gather data on the musculoskeletal disorders suffered and preventive strategies...
Evaluation of the range of motion of the upper limbs using the OpenPose program
Sýkorová, Michaela ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Šorfová, Monika (referee)
Title: Evaluation of the range of motion of the upper limbs using the OpenPose program Objectives: The aim of the work was to determine whether it is possible to use the OpenPose program as a tool for measuring upper limb range of motion, highlight OpenPose limits and consider whether the program could be used for evaluation in clinical practise or as part of telerehabiliation in the future. Methods: 48 probands participated in the research. Participants were intentionally selected from healthy population due to the nature of the work. Each participant was measured in 6 different positions while lying on a lounger. Measurements were taken bilaterally. A total of 14 different angles of shoulder and elbow were measured. These were maximum flexion of the elbow joint, flexion of the arm with flexion of the elbow, flexion of the arm, internal and external rotation of the arm and extension of the arm. Data were collected using a standardised examination method using a goniometer and a video recording. Video recordings were later used in the OpenPose program for angle evaluation. Finally, the results of both methods were compared. Results: 8 out of total 14 measured angles of shoulder and elbow were excluded based on evaluation criteria. Values with average difference between both examiner's results...
Geochemical and isotopic dating of recent flood sediments of Morava River
Nováková, Tereza
This study was focused on fluvial sedimentary records in the southern part of Morava River - all studied profiles are situated in the study area called Strážnické Pomoraví. Geochemical dating methods and analysis which were applied on river sedimentary records in profiles in this part of Morava River; were performed to show that fluvial sedimentary records are useful environmental archives for determination of anthropogenic contamination in the last 100 - 200 years. Determination of depth dependence of heavy metals - especially Pb, Zn and Cu and other methods such as determination of Pb isotopic ratios and magnetic susceptibility were used for chemostratigraphic correlation of studied profiles. Cation exchange capacity, lithological description of profiles and elementary analysis using EDXRF were used for facial description of profiles. Possibility of using the 137Cs method for geochemical dating of sedimentary profiles was also investigated.

Title: Patients' adherence to physiotherapy Background: Physiotherapy includes many techniques, which can be effective during a treatment of musculoskeletal system. It is up to each patient, how he or she will approach to health. Evaluation of adherence to exercise can be beneficial in the beginning, during and after the end of physiotherapy. Objectives: The aim of this study was using of the Exercise Adherence Rating Scale in Czech translation to find out how the patients adhere to a physiotherapeutic treatment plan and assess the causes. Methods: The research group consisted of 151 respondents, older than 18 years and they completed physiotherapy at least once in their lives. For data collection was used the Exercise Adherence Rating Scale. The Scale was available via online research survey in March 2020 and self-selection was chosen. Results: According to the results, 67 % employees participated in the research study. 63 % respondents were aged between 36 and 64 years. Physiotherapy was most often covered by insurance company. In EARS, excellent internal consistency values of Section B on the item level and satisfactory to good internal consistency values of Section C on the item level were obtained. Significant correlations of the EARS sections confirm criterion validity in terms of adherence....
