Draft of textbook focused on indirect taxes

The diploma thesis is about draft of textbook which is focused on indirect taxes for business school. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on teaching tax issues at business school. Readers are introduced with basic studying documents, for example framework educational program and school educational program. In the following part I have conducted didactic analysis of curriculum and textbook of economics for business schools. The draft of textbook about indirect taxes, which is the most important part of diploma thesis, is based on the didactic analysis. The textbook was tested in practice - in teaching at business school.

Romani Holocaust as a theme in the curriculum in primary schools

In this paper I focused on the issue of teaching about the Romani holocaust. In the first part I analyzed the current discussion concerning the Romani holocaust, while I mainly focused on the debate whether during World War II. the camps in Lety near Pisek and Hodonín near Kunštát, were "concentration" or "working" camp. For example, I analyzed the statements of our politician Tomio Okamura and reactions to his statements. The main objective of this paper is to explore how (and whether) the issue of Romani holocaust is included in the school curriculum. In the second part of my work I focused on common knowledge about this topic in schools. I conducted a study at the primary schools in Třebíč, using the combination of quantitative and qualitative data collection methods in order to find out whether and how this topic is taught at selected schools.

Systems of financial indicators

The theoretical part of this master thesis analyses appropriate financial models for financial appraisal, trends, proportion indicators and models for prediction of future development. I carried out the analysis of the financial administration of the chosen company in three points of view: hierarchical proportion indicators during the period of 2008 and 2012, comparison of financial results among the sector and appraisal by prediction models.

Contemporary Dramaturgy for a Large Repertory Theatre

The thesis describes the repertory staged in the Vinohrady Theatre during the five seasons 2007-2012. It analyzes the quality of the plays chosen and the results of their staging based on the reception from critics and audience as well as the experience of the author. It tries to cover some common tendencies in dramaturgy for a large repertory theatre such as Vinohrady. Then it concentrates on the type of repertory with mainly entertaining purpose throughout the history of this theatre and points out that the highlights of its history were when this type of repertory was merged with a consistently realized vision of an artistically distinctive director. According to the author boulevard theatre tendencies sometimes present in choosing the plays and their cast or in their staging contribute to the problems Vinohrady Theatre has as well as sometimes lacking connection between the director's conception and the needs of the ensemble.

Motivation of pupils in secondary schools

The name of this thesis is "Motivation of secondary vocational school students". The first part is focused on explanation of terms. The main motivation approach and basic source of motivation are mentioned there. There are motivation reasons for the study stated in the end of this part. The practical part consists of questionary research, where the quantitative analysis has been used. The main goal of this work is to inspect the motivation of secondary vocational school students when choosing of study field with special focus on engineering and interest in technics itself.

Vodohospodářská revitalizace a ochrana před povodněmi

Projekt řeší problematiku provádění protipovodňové ochrany prostřednictvím komplexní vodohospodářské revitalizace území. V roce 2005 se řešitelský kolektiv soustředil na řešení následujících hlavních problémových okruhů: výběr experimentálních povodí, podrobný průzkum vybraných experimentálních povodí, výběr vhodného matematického nástroje pro hodnocení srážko-odtokových vztahů v povodí, výběr vhodného matematického nástroje pro popis proudění v toku a nivě, příprava GIS nástrojů pro vybrané matematické modely, posouzení vlivu revitalizace na průtokové poměry v toku a údolní nivě, sestavení katalogu retenčních prvků v povodí, poznatky ze zahraniční exkurze na realizované revitalizační stavby, dokončení publikace Vodohospodářské revitalizace a předání do tisku a zpracování scénáře pro instruktážní film.

The response of Norway spruce and European beech's photosynthetic apparatus to some stress factors - comparative study

In the context of expected climate changes is more and more important to study how will species of present ecosystems react to this changes. Thus this study is focused on reactions of two main forest tree species of Central Europe ? Norway spruce (Piacea abies L.) and European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) ? to water stress, higher quantity of N in soil, combination of theese stress factors and heat stress. The effects of stress were monitored on maximal photochemical efficiency of PS II (Fv / Fm) and on contents of photosynthetic pigments. It was found that Norway spruce is more resistant to all mentioned stress factors than European beech.

How to portray the forest?

This thesis aims to find out how to hand a splendid, juicy and bizarre topos of a forest in such a film way not to mutate its splendid, juicy or bizarre nature (as it is known to us from an autopsy) using a time lapse of last twenty years and Czech woods. Regarding that most of the films about forests were produced after 1989 within television production, they balance on the edge and within limits of categories as journalism, natural broadcast, advertising propaganda, television advertising propaganda?exactly those genres for which Jan Gogola`s paradigms destroying FAMUtext killed an expression documentary film en bloc. My thesis is based on a fact that a documentary film is dead. If my formally quite flat film analysis proofs that these films talking ?forest? topic express something vivid or vital, we get to the resurrection of the expression documentary film.
