Powertrain of four-cylinder in-line gasoline aircraft engine
Novák, Vít ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The focus of this work is to determine the stress of the crank mechanism of the inverted piston aircraft engine Walter Mikron III C UL from the manufacturer PARMA - TECHNIK, s.r.o. The main method of calculation is the numerical finite elements method using the program ANSYS Workbench, the module Static structural and Transient structural. The approximate indicated cylinder pressure during the duty cycle was determined in the GT-SUITE software. The partial goals are to propose possible modifications in the construction of the crank mechanism and to state the possible power reserves of the engine. The diploma thesis also briefly summarizes the history and development of aircraft piston engines from the company Walter, which developed the engine, and the line of Walter Mikron engines.
Czech media's influence on the book market in 2012
Novák, Vít ; Halada, Jan (advisor) ; Čeňková, Jana (referee)
In the introduction of this study I set out the current state of the Czech book market, how it operates, and the results Czech publishers. I also try to find answers to questions about various ethical and moral dilemmas, both in literature and in-person interviews with experts on the topic. The aim is to determine how significant Czech newspapers influenced the book market in 2012. For this I decided to use the analysis of media content, which is firstly explained and followed by a description and comment on the results. Then I will try to show the influence of the media on the book market using the experiment.
"Eccentrically, illogically, with despair and bliss". Collection of Jiří Karásek ze Lvovic.
Novák, Vít ; Rakušanová, Marie (advisor) ; Klimešová, Marie (referee)
(EN) While the literary work of the poet and author Jiří Karásek ze Lvovic (1871-1951) is usually analysed in the context of his sexual otherness, this essential personal feature is usually neglected in major scholarly texts on his art collection. The only exception being a few papers devoted to a group of works by the Polish painter and Karásek's close friend Wlastimil Hofman (1881-1970), which depict naked young men, namely the paintings of St. Sebastian (1914), Endymion (1921) and Ganymede (1925). This thesis draws on this discourse and challenges the conclusions reached so far. In the argument presented, the main means of looking at the artworks mentioned and some of Karásek's motivations for collecting is his relationship with the Sokol, an important Czech gymnastic organization, under whose wing the collection became institutionalized as the Karásek's Gallery in the 1920s. Nanostructures and Materials for Antiferromagnetic Spintronics
Reichlová, Helena ; Novák, Vít (advisor)
This thesis is focused on two open problems of antiferromagnetic (AFM) spintronics: manipulation of AFM coupled moments and development of new materials combining AFM and semiconductor properties. We present three particular methods enabling AFM moments manipulation. The rst method, based on the exchange spring effect in an AFM/FM double layer, strongly de- pends on the AFM layer thickness and temperature. We systematically vary these two parameters and identify the conditions when AFM moments can be manip- ulated. By the second method, cooling an AFM in a magnetic eld through the critical temperature, we prove the concept of a fully AFM-based (containing no FM) spintronic device. The last studied method is based on current induced effects in nanostructures containing an AFM. By systematic study of samples with and without AFM we demonstrate the ability of AFM moments to absorb a current induced torque. Relying neither on a FM nor on cooling in magnetic eld, this method represents an elegant way of AFM moments manipulation. In the second experimental part new materials for AFM spintronics are discussed, and one representative example, CuMnAs, is studied in detail. Characterization of bulk and epitaxial CuMnAs is presented and rst spintronic functionality is shown. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
