Advanced modulation techniques for optical wireless communications
Šmída, Marek ; Janík, Lukáš (referee) ; Novák, Marek (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with modulations for optical wireless communications. Different types of modulations used in optical wireless communications are analyzed. The bachelor thesis discusses the implementing modulation techniques with the GNU Radio development environment. The bachelor thesis also analyzed error performace of modulation techniques.
Network End Node for Spacial Monitoring of Atmosphere Parameters
Mlynář, Zdeněk ; Smetana, Lukáš (referee) ; Novák, Marek (advisor)
LoRaWAN end node is often a device composed of a sensor, or actor. In this case it is sensor monitoring atmosphere parameters. This can be used to investigate atmospheric impact on Free Space Optics. This work is firstly focused on physical layer LoRa, then on LoRaWAN communication protocol. LoRaWAN device classes are also described and examples of measurable parameters can be found at the end of the theoretical part as well. The practical part describes all components, which were chosen when designing this device, and lastly it comprises the schematic design. The result is printed circuit board design.
Proposal of Communication Plan
Strupek, Ondřej ; Mgr.Marek Novák (referee) ; Šimberová, Iveta (advisor)
This bachelor thesis analyses the actual position of the company KZK Ltd. on the market. Data obtained by the situational analysis help the company suggest its communication plan which is going to effect better distributing information to its prospective customers.
Proposal and implementation of improvement action to increase production efficiency CP3
Novák, Marek ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The goal of this master thesis was increase production efficiency of turning machine TORNOS MultiDECO 20/6, which are unique in the Czech Republic by their contruction. Based on data analyzed has been found few areas, where are possible improve operations to increase production efficiency. For improving production efficiency has been implemented several real devices on the turning machine. The next step has been identified the cause of increase consumption of cutting tool and proposal for reduce of used cutting tool.
Extremely low cycle fatigue life of magnesium alloy
Novák, Marek ; Věchet, Stanislav (referee) ; Zapletal, Josef (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor´s thesis is to predict the fatigue life of magnesium alloy AZ61 in the very low cycle count range (less than 100), which also called extremely low fatigue (ELCF) range. Life prediction predicted by Manson-Coffin´s law is higher than the experimental values show. The main problem is that the slope of the real life curve in the ELCF range is different than the slope of the predicted one. A new regression function with additional material parameters has to be found to match the experimentally measured values. The thesis deals with the literature search of the ELCF range and models of fatigue life prediction in the said range. Furthermore, in the experimental part of the thesis, magnesium alloy AZ61 without any heat treatment has been measured for mechanical and fatigue properties. Also, the microstructure of the alloy was observed. Measured values of fatigue life in the ELCF and LCF range were fitted by a regression function proposed by L. Xue.
Theory of maintenance and reliability
Novák, Marek ; Veselkov, Vladimir (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis is focused on theory of maintenance and reliability. Question of maintenance and reliability is very important during service machine and it can be helpful to reduce operating costs. In the Bachelor thesis are describes basics terms asociated with the theory of maintenance and reliability. Also it provides information about gradual evolution of maintenance systems. In the last part is an examle of engeneering practice with summary and evaluation of an example.
Control of sorting by programmable logic controller
Novák, Marek ; Němec, Zdeněk (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
My diploma thesis deals with the design and production of the first of the two parts of a device for classifying goods. This device needs two programmable logic controllers (hereafter PLCs), produced by Phoenix Contact, to complete these activities. These controllers are interconnected. One part of the solution, which is described in my thesis in detail, deals with the communication between these controllers, the design of optimalization of methods of classifying goods, which is important for the operation of the whole device and visualization realization. The PLCs are programmed in PC worx software and the visualisation has been made using the Visu+ programme produced by Phoenix Contact. The outcome of my thesis is a device, which, after setting up of the parameters, works independently and is completely controlled by a HDMI touch screen. This thesis has been supported by the Czech Ministry of Education in the frame of MSM 0021630529 Research Intention Inteligent Systems in Automation.
Mobile Android sport application
Maloušek, Jan ; Novák, Marek (referee) ; Kadlec, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design a mobile application for Android OS, which will be used to organize joint sports activities. Theoretical part of this document describes the Android operating system itself, creation and basic components of application and Firebase database system. Practical part of this thesis deals with designing the application itself, including used solutions and algorithms. Main focus of the design part was on functionality and intuitiveness and also on the use of the best practice programming techniques.
Green Desk for Permanent Establishment
Reiter, Michal ; Novák, Marek (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the current state of corporate governance from the perspective of permanent establishments of the Department of Environmental Protection Skanska a.s. Using analytical methods to analyze and evaluate information systems and management system for monitoring the impact of a permanent establishment on the environment. The paper presents the pros and cons of the current system of accounting for environmental information. Further the proposal for a new website Green desk with basic information and automated features that help simplify and streamline the administration and management of ecology permanent establishments.
Device for Honey Bee Activity Measurement
Fučík, Jan ; Šimíček, Tomáš (referee) ; Novák, Marek (advisor)
This thesis engages in characteristic honey bee's behaviour first. Subsequently it engages in project of device for honey bee activity measurement. It reasons about non-electric quantities which can honey bee's behaviour represent. Description of components which can be use for measure these quantities follows. Description is intent on possible accuracy and energy consumption of each component. Appropriate method is selected subsequnetly. In realitionship with method are selected sensors and projected controlling circuit. There is a summary of parameters of device in resume. There is also design of the parts which do not work as good as is ideal in resume.
