Lipid emulsions in lonf-term parenteral nutition
Ševela, Stanislav ; Novák, František (advisor) ; Cahová, Monika (referee) ; Lahoda Brodská, Helena (referee)
The combination of intestinal failure and parenteral nutrition is a condition associated with mild chronic inflammation and organ injury, the most significant of which is hepatic injury. This crossover-controlled trial investigated the effects of different intravenous lipid emulsions (IVLE) enriched with increased doses of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (n-3 PUFA) from fish oil (FO) in patients on home parenteral nutrition (HPNP) for chronic intestinal failure. Twelve patients were consecutively given three different IVLEs, with an FO emulsion added after each IVLE. The study also included twelve paired healthy controls for comparison. The aim of this study was to investigate how long-term administration of these IVLEs affected primarily the erythrocyte and plasma fatty acid (FA) spectrum, as well as the inflammatory response, antioxidant status, markers of liver function and bile acid spectrum in HPNP, and how these changes differed from healthy subjects. We demonstrated successful incorporation of n-3 PUFA into erythrocyte phospholipids and corresponding changes in the plasma FA spectrum, characterized in particular by significant increases in n-3 versus n-6 PUFA, with a decrease in the n-6/n-3 PUFA ratio. We also found a more prolonged effect on these changes with high dose FO...
New Synagogue in Olomouc
Novák, František ; Uřídilová, Marcela (referee) ; Dulenčín, Juraj (advisor)
Draft synagogue draws on traditional values from the past, but is set in the present time and modern elements to create the perfect environment for future work and development of the Jewish community. In the past, they reached the synagogue larger sizes and higher than the surrounding buildings. Attracted so immediate dominance. Today's urban planning and capacity synagogues us not allow this dominance. However synagogue be different because of the surrounding buildings. The proposed project will thus achieve a modern shape, splayed hands towards God. The synagogue is to be removed, so as sculptures have their pedestals, and the proposed synagogue is mounted on a pedestal. Is thus formed plastic loosely inserted into the surrounding nature.
Lighting design of production hall
Pavlinský, Branislav ; Novák, Filip (referee) ; Škoda, Jan (advisor)
Nowadays, a large number of people spend a lot of time in the presence of artificial lighting and therefore artificial lighting and the correct design of such lighting is very important. This work deals with the evaluation of the original state of the lighting system of the production hall and the design of a new lighting system. Lighting design is solved using the RELUX program. Luminaires from the Czech manufacturer TREVOS were used to design the lighting.
Inovating methods for color fidelity index evaluation of LED.
Novák, Filip ; Škoda, Jan (referee) ; Motyčka, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is aimed to compare different methodologies of calculating color rendering indicators, because for modern light sources based on LED the traditional color rendering index Ra might be insufficient. The first part of this paper is based on explaining the basics, such as different methods of producing visible light, photometric quantities, or various CIE color spaces. The second and main part revolves around description of spectroradiometers, and calculation procedures for calculating color rendering indicators according to CIE 013.3-1995, CQS, IES TM-30-15, and CIE 224:2017. In the next chapter the mentioned indexes are then calculated for a given sample of light sources, and the results are subsequently evaluated.

It will also be a place of management of biogas plant. The building is located in a slightly hilly terrain at an altitude of 539,350 meters and complies with disabled access.
Use of Luminance Analyser for the Quantification of Artificial Light at Night
Novák, Filip ; Motyčka, Martin (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with obtrusive light and its measurement, especially with the help of luminance analyzers. In particular, the necessary theoretical basis for the design of a measuring methodology for obtrusive light or veil brightness of the sky is laid here. This mainly includes the division of obtrusive light and its manifestations, a description of the effects of obtrusive light on the environment, selected organisms and the human body. Also described herein are the biological mechanisms of the human body that are affected by light as such. Attention is also paid to streetlights, its classification and methods of reducing obtrusive light, as well as methods of measuring brightness and brightness analyzers. Last but not least, the night sky is also measured using the LumiDISP luminance analyzer and subsequent data are evaluated using the proposed method.
Vliv chemické modifikace na vybrané vlastnosti dřevěné pružiny
Novák, Filip
This thesis focuses on the influence of chemical modification on a wooden spring. The spring was made of beech wood (Fagus sylvatica, L.). Bending ratio was chosen 1:4 thickness to radius. The effectiveness of the chemical modification with acetic anhydride was measured by weight percentage gain (WPG). Acetylation was made with 18 % WPG (at full acetylation 25 % WPG was observed damage of bent wood mostly by compression stress). Chosen spring properties was evaluated in four moisture states (dry, in condition of 65 %, 85 % and 99 % relative humidity and temperature 20 °C). Influence of acetylation on mechanical properties was proven. In wet condition acetylated samples proved higher shear modulus of elasticity a higher rigidity of spring. In dry condition acetylated samples proved lower shear modulus of elasticity a lower rigidity of spring. Influence of acetylation on dimension stability was proven. Acetylated samples proved reduction of equilibrium moisture content (46-56 %) in comparison to reference samples. Acetylated samples proved swelling reduction in radial direction (41-56 %) and in tengential direction (46-59 %). More regular swelling (ratio of radial and rangential) was observed at acetylated samples. Influence of acetylation on shape stability was proven. Shape stability of acetylated spring was evaluated by change in diameter of spring in different moisture states. Wet conditions caused enlargement of acetylated spring diameter (5-16 %) and of reference spring diameter (10-40 %). Reduction of shape changes was observed (57-75 %).
Corrency as a new form of transaction system
Novák, Filip ; Vybíral, Roman (advisor) ; Kotáb, Petr (referee)
Corrency as a new form of transaction system Abstract The master's thesis in a comprehensive form presents a completely new transactional system called Corrency, which stands out from the existing solutions with its specific characteristics. The aim of the master's thesis is to describe this system, present it in the light of financial law, and analyze its potential applications in related legal fields. Corrency is a transactional system currently primarily used for distributing financial resources from public institutions to citizens, with the future possibility of expanding its use to the private sector. It is transparent, simple, fast, inexpensive, and fully digital. The issuer, who deposits funds into the system, obtains unique data on their movement and can target their money both to suitable primary recipients, typically citizens, and to specific market segments that genuinely require such assistance. Corrency operates with a unit of account called Corrent, which this thesis examines not only from a legal perspective but also in the context of economics and finance. Another objective of the thesis is to provide the reader with the broadest legal context and to construct an analysis of the issues surrounding this system from the ground up, starting from the comparison of Corrents with institutions such...
