Physiocrate: A SignalPlant Toolbox for Respiratory, Blood Pressure and EMG Signal Analysis
Nejedlý, Petr ; Virgala, Jan
The paper presented here describes the SignalPlant library for analysis of physiological signals. This library contains plugins for analysis of continuous blood pressure (BP), respiratory signals (RESP) and electromyographic signals (EMG). Its principal advantages are real-time previews of results, ease of use and a multi-thread approach. The library is available free and open- source under an MIT license as part of the SignalPlant project at https://signalplant.codeplex.com.
Production of holder by solid forming
Nejedlý, Petr ; Novotný, Karel (referee) ; Kopřiva, Miloslav (advisor)
The project elaborated in frame of engineering studies branch 2307. The project is submitting design of technology production of holder by solid forming of steel 12 020.0. Pursuant to of the literary pursuit a problem of die forging and calculation was designed forging on a vertical cranked press LMZ 1600 and with nominal forging force 16MN (producer ŠMERAL Brno). The lower ejector is using for extrusion component.Heating billet is accomplished by using induction furnance type SOP 400kW.For trimming is used trimmning press LKOA 200 with force 2 MN. For holding of dies is used holder QLZK 1600/UC, dies are made of instrumental steel 19 552.9. A part of this project is economic estimation of production and produce of manufacturing drawings.
Photoplethysmographic method of the arterial compliance measurement
Nejedlý, Petr ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Svačinová,, Jana (advisor)
The purpose of this study is a description of dynamic photoplethysmography as a method for assessment of viscoelastic properties of small diameter arteries. The first part of this work defines a mathematical model for the description of the arterial wall features and parasitic effects, that might occur during measurement. Furthermore, the experimental part of the work deals with the measurement of arterial wall compliance on healthy volunteers during physiological and induced ischemia conditions. Moreover, the mathematical model and statistical methods are applied for interpretation of experimental data.
Energy efficient house
Nejedlý, Petr ; Struhala, Karel (referee) ; Jelínek, Petr (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the elaboration of the project documentation for the construction of the new building of the family house in Šternberk. The family house is designed in a sloping terrain partially underground with one above ground floor and residential attic. The object is designed for a three to four-member family. The ground plan of the house is designed in the shape of "L". The supporting walls are designed as a frame construction of a wooden structure with a contact insulation system, the basement is made of concrete lost formwork. The ceiling structure consists of a reinforced concrete slab and a wooden beam structure. The roof of the building consists of a saddle roof with ceramic roofing. Part of the building is a garage for one car.
AC electric linear drive for paralell kinematics structures of robots
Nejedlý, Petr ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
Design of linear actuator for parallel kinematic structure is described in this master´s thesis. The parallel kinematic structure is described in the first part. Open kinematics structure and close kinematics structure are compared. Their benefits and disadvantages are also mentioned. Construction of some parallel robots is illustrated. Linear actuators of different company are described. Mechanical parameters and construction of linear actuator are compared. Design of linear actuator is described in practical part of master´s thesis. A few variation of linear actuator are introduced. Individual variants are evaluated by Multicriteria Decisional Analysis and a final conception is selected. Final conception of linear actuator is elaborated. Reasons for selection of every part of linear actuator are given and basic mechanical calculation design part is made. FEA analysis of the structural part of linear actuator is made. Design of linear actuator is evaluated in the final part.
Overview of rapid prototyping technology
Nejedlý, Petr ; Čudek, Vladimír (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
Aim of this bacelor thesis is to summarize current knowledge of Rapid Prototyping technologies and to estimate development in the future. There is characteristic of Rapid Prototyping and including this technology in the process of product development in the first part. Complete wiev of the most common Rapid Prototyping, principles and andvantages, disadvantages and possibility of using are included in the second part.
Mixed-use building
Nejedlý, Petr ; Struhala, Karel (referee) ; Jelínek, Petr (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is a new mixed-use building in Brno in the part of Pisárky. The building will have one basement and four aboveground floors. In the basement will be a collective garage and apartment accessories. In the ground floor are designed offices for rent. On the first to fourth floor are designed eight flats. The main entrance to the building and the entrance to the property is situated on the northeast side of Vinařská street. The mixed-use house is designed from a wall structural system. The basement basement, first floor and staircase space is designed of lime-sand blocks, with a ceiling construction of monolithic iron concrete slabs. The bearing structure of the second to fourth floors is designed as a timber structure building. The roof structure will be double-skinned, flat with a vegetation layer with extensive greenery.
Peripheral Units of the Old Czech Lexical System: Retreating Units
Nejedlý, Petr ; Kučera, Karel (advisor) ; Pleskalová, Jana (referee) ; Komárek, Karel (referee)
Petr Nejedlý: Peripheral Units of the Old Czech Lexical System: Retreating Units (abstract of the thesis) The thesis deals with Old Czech lexical units retreating from the centre to periphery of the lexical system. It examines prerequisites of the process, i.e. loss of systemic relations of the lexical unit, and describes its individual forms (the extinction of a lexical unit in the last resort). The work submits an overview of both (intra)linguistic and extra-linguistic factors which are based on development of the lexical unit and influence its retreat to the periphery. Attention is paid to systemic changes in the language which modify internal relationships within the lexical system and also lead to the loss of central position of some lexical units.
Classification Of Heart Sounds Using Time-Frequency Analysis And Image Processing Methods
Demjan, Michal ; Nejedlý, Petr
This paper describes the algorithm for detection of heart sounds from phonocardiogram record (PCG) using time-frequency analysis and image processing technique. Presented algorithm extracts time-frequency features using continuous wavelet transform (CWT) and subsequently applies image processing methods such as morphological operations and connected components labeling on hearth sounds segment S1-S2. Furthermore, the segmented PCG signal undergoes correction procedure, which uses the Smith-Waterman local alignment algorithm to correctly predict heart sound sequence.
Arterialwall Nonlinear Features Identification By Vibrational Photoplethysmography Technique
Nejedlý, Petr
The presented paper describes a mathematical model for estimation of an arterial compliance by vibrational photoplethysmography technique. The first section of the article describes non-linear viscoelastic properties of the arterial wall. Furthermore, the second part of the paper specifies interactions between the arterial segment and measuring cuff. The viscoelastic model was created for the purpose of arterial compliance experimental research and computer simulations of parasitic effects that might occur during measurement.
