Legal Regulation of eGovernment in the Czech Republic

1 Abstract Legal Regulation of eGovernment in the Czech Republic The diploma thesis deals with the legal regulation of the Czech eGovernment, i.e. with the regulation of the selected public administration services provided while using information and communication technologies and with the regulation of digitalization of public administration. In addition to the Czech legal regulation, the focus is also on the legal regulation in selected European countries and the "supranational" approach of the European Union towards digitalization. The thesis aims to introduce the phenomenon of eGovernment briefly and to analyse the legal regulations that form the legal framework of eGovernment in the Czech Republic and abroad. On this basis, I examine the hypothesis confirming the existence of eGovernment law as a specific branch of law. Using the method of doctrinal and qualitative analysis, I examine individual eGovernment- related legislation in the Czech Republic in Chapter two and in the selected European countries and the European Union in Chapter three. In the same chapter, I then compare the individual legal regulations based on predefined criteria. Possibility of using social networks to support business

This thesis deals with the possibilities of using social networks for increasing the competitiveness of the company. The theoretical part defines basic terms that are closely related to social networks. First part is focused on social media and their usage in Czech or European companies which is supported by statistical data. Another part of the thesis focuses on the world most common social networks and their usage in relation to Competitive Intelligence. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with analytics and monitoring tools. The practical part of the thesis contains competitive research on the company Antee and its major competitors in social networks usage. The main output of the practical part is based on the thorough analysis and it proposes strategy on a successful entrance into social networks for Antee.
Comparison of mobile operating systems

The aim of this thesis is an analysis of current mobile operating systems. The theoretical part will focus on the most popular operating systems that are designed for mobile devices. The introduction will explain terms such as smartphone, mobile operating system, and part is focus to the history and development of smartphones. Further I will deal with major players in the market for operating systems. The aim is to describe in detail their characteristics, summarized the pros and cons and then compares these systems in my pre-defined criteria. In the introduction, I present analytical representation of the mobile platforms in the world market. The practical part consists of a questionnaire survey focused on the share of mobile platforms on the market in the Czech Republic. The results compare with the world situation in the market for mobile operating systems, based on the introduction to the analytical part. The aim is to compare the results and show deviations from the global scale.
