Implementation of an information system for a store

Zavedení informačního systému pro obchod This thesis deals with the selection of the information system and compare sets of software solutions covering different areas versus implementation of ERP. Thesis brings process and the election of a comprehensive e-business solutions, accounting software, loyalty program, customer care and storage software for small stores. The first part focuses on the definition of basic concepts such as information systems, ERP and other important concepts necessary for this work. This part of thesis continues to describe information needs, collect and catalog of requirements for small stores. In the last chapters of the first part of the thesis conditions and specific areas of expertise, which is important for companies and the subsequent assessment of economic return. The second part is practically focused on store (boutique) Gentleport and online store www.gentleport.cz. The method of analysis of documents, observation and interviews with management defines the expected reality, needs analysis and requirements for trade. This section is also devoted attention to the description of appropriate systems - a set of independent software compared to implementation of ERP. The third part focuses on the selection of a supplier that meets the requirements of an information system for online store and store Gentleport. The final part focuses on the evaluation of the chosen solution. This section confirms or refutes the hypothesis given at the beginning.

Security of mobile devices running Android

The main subject of this thesis is the security of Android platform mobile devices. The goal of the thesis is to design and develop an application that will check given devices from the security point of view and to check the security of applications developed as the subject of theses created in the last few years at the University of Economics. In the first part of thesis there is an analysis of ways to secure the Android platform devices and applications and ways to attack them. Both the offline and the client/server architecture applications are also taken into consideration. The next part includes a security analysis of the selected application based on the beforehand determined criteria. An analysis and development of the application designated to examine the security of the given device is next. The outcome of the thesis is an easy to use application that can be launched on the mobile devices running Android 2.2 Froyo and higher.

Logistics Processes Optimization in Company Specialized in Hotel Industry

The thesis deals with the application of Lean management in optimizing business processes, namely logistics processes. The author narrows the theoretical view as possible in today's practice to optimize the logistics processes in the real case study of a company. One of the theoretical foundations of modern Japanese approach based on Lean Management is called Toyota Production System. The practical focus of the work lies in analysis of the actual deployment of optimization in company specialized in hotel industry. Finally, thesis evaluates the success of optimization in the organization. The author has proposed some practical pieces of advice and techniques to approach optimization in near future.

The subject of the bachelor's thesis "Troubles IT outsourcing development" is an analysis of influences and risks to development of IT systems. The theoretical part covers the definition of the expression IT outsourcing including the reasons leading to their introduction in companies. In the practical part i describe a company 6K, spol. s r.o., its products and a proces sof outsourcing contract. The last part analyses concrete impact, advantages and threats related to outsourcing and i suggest a solution here.

Optimized testing of utilization of indicators for technical analysis on selected equities from SPAD

The purpose of this diploma thesis is a testing of utilization of the indicators for technical analysis on selected equities from SPAD. The main aim of this thesis is to answer whether the trading based on the indicators of technical analysis could be profitable particularly for an ordinary investor in the time of the financial crises. For this purpose there were used equity rates for ČEZ, Komerční banka, Philip Morris ČR and Telefónica O2C.R.. Analyzed period is divided into two parts. Parameters of the indicators are tested in the first period from 2002 to 2006 and the calculated optimized parameters are used in the second period from 2002 to March of 2009.

Dále práce popisuje současnou pozici RM-Systému na českém trhu cenných papírů a zkoumá její možné příčiny.
