Problems relating to the visually handicapped pupils at Jaroslav Ježek School

Title: Problems relating to the visually handicapped pupils at Jaroslav Ježek School Aim. of work: Mapping and evaluating the present sports possibilities of the visually handicapped pupils in the 2. stage of Jaroslav Ježek basic school in Prague. The aim is to concentrate on the facts that the pupils perceive as barriers and that hinder them from physical activities. Method: To reach the above mentioned aim there were compiled and sorted the necessary data. We made a survey for the pupils and furthermore we evaluated the acquired data. On the basis of the acquired information we proposed the enlargement of sports possibilities and proved them in practise. Results and conclusions: The school currently offers a wide portfolio of sports possibilities and thus both within the physical education lessons and in various sport clubs, and further by arranging the participation of the pupils in various republic sports competitions. The visually handicapped pupils have a chance to familiarize themselves with the basics of athletics, swimming, cycling, applied sports and physical games, traditional skiing, and also for example water sports, wall climbing, horse riding, in-line skating and other outdoor activities. The impact of paywall introduction for the IHNED.cz news website

This diploma thesis summarises the development of paid content of ihned.cz, on-line news server of the Czech economic daily Hospodářské noviny. It observes the influence of paywall from August 2014 until April 2015. The aim of the implementation of paywall was to show that the content created on the server was valuable. The theoretical part deals with new challenges media face, including economic and technological changes; it describes the rise of commercialization and media reaction, and solution for these changes in the form of convergence and digital-first concept. The diploma thesis is viewed through the political economy of media approach. It focuses on monetization of content, the willingness of readers to pay for on-line news, traditional and alternative revenues of media, and it describes the examples of implemented paywall in other media. In the practical part, the thesis describes how paywall influenced economic revenues, specifically the digital subscription, advertising and financial results of the publisher Economia, which is providing the server ihned.cz. Activities of Agrofert holding covered by Mladá fronta Dnes and Lidové noviny before and after their takeover by Andrej Babiš

Exploration of the influences that an owner can have on his own media is an important topic nowadays. This master thesis focuses on the possible owner influences on his newspaper in the example of buying of the publishing house Mafra by Agrofert's owner Andrej Babis. It covers articles concerning Agrofert in two of Mafra's dailies - Mlada fronta Dnes and Lidove noviny. The reporting period covers two years before and two years after the purchase of Mafra by the owner of Agrofert and the current Czech Minister of Finance Andrej Babis. This covers the dates 5. 6. 2011 - 24. 6. 2013 and 25. 6. 2013 - 24. 6. 2015. This thesis uses the processes of quantitative content analysis and focuses on the comparison of texts about Agrofert in these two periods. In the sample of 631 articles it examines two dozen categories, such as topic, placement on the page as well as in the daily itself or quotation of Andrej Babis, and it tracks the changes that occurred in both halves of the reporting period. The shift in content of the Mafra's media, after the change of its owner has not been largely examined yet. This means that this thesis brings a first complex insight into the topic. Modeling Risk of a Credit Portfolio

Úvěrové riziko je ve finančním sektoru stále největším zdrojem rizika a jeho špatné měření a řízení může vést k obrovským ztrátám. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá metodami modelování (měření) velikosti úvěrového rizika na portfoliové bázi. První část se zabývá regulatorním přístupem k měření úvěrového rizika, který vychází z posledních regulatorních opatření známých pod názvem Basel II. Věnuje se zejména pokročilejšímu IRB (Internal Rating Based) přístupu. Druhá část je věnována modelu CreditMetrics společnosti J.P. Morgan. Výsledky obou přístupů jsou demonstrovány na korporátním úvěrovém portfoliu jedné z největších českých bank (České spořitelny, a.s.). Veškerá potřebná data, výpočty a výsledky jsou uložena na přiloženém CD.

Narrow Band Filtering of ECG Signals

Main objective of this bachelors thesis, was to learn about issues and possibilities of ECG filtration. This thesis is focused on narrowband filtration by Lynn’s filters. The objective for this thesis was to design filters for filtration of interferences called drift and brum. Both of them should not affect the relevant part of signal.

Welding of finegrain steel from range of DOMEX steel by YbYAG fiber laser.

The project elaborated within the engineering studies of the branch Manufacturing technology presents an experiment of welding of high strength steel by fiber laser. The project includes a theoretical study, which deals with the welding material properties, principles and types of lasers and laser welding technology. The practical part contains a verification of the welding parameters according to the standard ČSN EN ISO 15614-11. The final evaluation results of the experiment at the close of the project are presented.

Application of metallic materials for selective growth

The Si(100) surface and Ga surface phases up to 1 ML on their oxidation have been studied by XPS and LEED. The selective growth of Ga on the SiO2/Si structures fabricated by EBL has been analyzed using SEM and AFM methods. It was proved that Ga clusters grow in structures beside the oxide. The structure of alumina on Ni3Al(111) and NiAl(110) substrates was fully determined by combining the results of STM measurements and DFT simulations. It was determined the alumina/NiAl(110) does not form a suitable template for ordered Fe and Co clusters growth. However, the next research confirmed the alumina/Ni3Al(111) forms template appropriate to clusters growth purpose.

Averaging of biological signals

The main objectives of this thesis are to study theory of signal averaging, filtered residue method and methods of stretching/shrinking signal. It will also test the functionality of those methods. Thesis contains theoretical analysis, explanation of principles and testing of behaving of used methods.

Production technology of part OPENER

The project elaborated in frame of bachelor’s studies branch B-STG is submitting design of technology production of the cutting – a part made of steel plate S235JR (ČSN 11 375). Pursuant to of the literary pursuit a problem of the cutting technology and calculation was designed shearing on the follow cutting tool. The instrument make use of standardized components and it is adapted to attached into the press LEN 40 C (producer TOMA INDUSTRIES), with nominal tensile force 400 kN. Blanking punch and blanking die are made of alloyed instrumental steel 19 436.9 (POLDI 2002), heat-worked according to drawing documentation.
