Phonetics and Phonology of Czech in Gęsiniec in the Strzelin District

The bachelor thesis deals with a description of phonetics and phonology of the current condition of Czech in Gęsiniec in the Strzelin District, Poland. Its focal point is an analysis of phonetic and phonological phenomena based on records gathered during a field research in the town of Gościęcice Dolne, Strzelin District. Other parts of the thesis are a summary of the history of Gęsiniec, its current state and a description of the linguistic research in the area up to now within the field of Czech dialectology. The latter part of the thesis describes the research methodology, it further includes an analysis of the material and metadata about the informant. A comparison of the conslusions reached with the secondary literature follows. Appendices consist of samples of transcribed records, a blank consent form, a detailed structure of the field interview and an accompanying form and furthermore a picture appendix referred to in the thesis.

Czech reflection of Tymoshenko case and its media representation

The main theme of this bachelor thesis is the media representation of the case of politician Yulia Tymoshenko in three selected printed daily newspapers - Czech papers Lidové noviny and Haló noviny and British paper The Guardian in the period 2011- 2013. The Czech papers were chosen intentionally on the basis of its political orientation. Left-wing oriented Haló noviny where was assumed that would sympathize with Russia and Lidové noviny as pro-western representative. Where was expected that will take Tymoshenko side. Through a quantitative content analysis of a total of 204 news and opinion papers, I evaluate what topics this media put to the forefront of interest and how objectively it is presented to readers. A database of individual contributions with the coding of the monitored characteristics related to the topics, the author's expression, the objectivity and the contribution sources is created for the purposes of the thesis. The evaluation and interpretation of the results takes place both descriptively within each journal and comparatively. Evaluation and determination of conclusions as well as coding of indicators are carried out following a thorough study of the historical events in Ukraine related to the case of Yulia Tymoshenko. This bachelor thesis deals with the description of phonetics and phonology of present condition of Czech in Husinec, Strzelin district. Its focal point is an analysis of phonetic and phonological varieties found in records based on field research in the town of Gościęcice Dolne, Strzelin district, Poland. The next parts of the thesis are following: summary of Husinec's history, current condition of Husinec and description of linguistic research in the area up to now in the field of Czech dialectology. The practical part of the thesis also includes the research methodology, description of working with the materiál and metadata about the informant. There is a comparison of own consequences and consequences in the mentioned literature below the analysis. The appendixes consists of some examples of transcribed records, an unfilled informed consent form, a structure of an interview and its additional form and a picture appendixed mentioned in the thesis.

Financial Balance of Households

The thesis defines basic terms in field of loans provided in the Czech Republic. It is also focused on different kinds of incomes, dole problem is being detailed here. The thesis includes analysis of financial balance of households focused on searching factors, that impact it significantly. Outputs of this analysis are used to identify households, which are threatened by insolvency.
