Shear stress relaxation of bituminous binders in DSR
Musil, Vladimír ; Hegr, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dašek, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis describes the relaxation properties of bituminous binders determined in dynamic shear rheometer (DSR). Paving bitumen, polymer modified bitumen (PMB) and crumb rubber modified bitumen (CRmB) were chosen for comparison. In order to describe the effects of ageing on asphalt binders relaxation properties, the laboratory simulation of ageing using RTFOT and 3xRTFOT method was performed. For each binder were simultaneously conducted tests of needle penetration, softening point and elastic recovery. Selected bitumens were used for the production of asphalt mixtures. The low-temperature properties tests (TSRST) were performed for these mixtures, when the results were compared to the relaxation properties of binders determined in the DSR.

Income Based Business Valuation
Musil, Vladimír ; Koumar, Tomáš (referee) ; Čižinská, Romana (advisor)
This thesis focuses on a business valuation proposal of company AGRAS Bohdalov, a.s. using income-based valuation methods. The theoretical part deals with definitions of business, category of value and reasons for valuation, including the description of valuation methods and the specific process. The practical part is devoted to the valuation of the company fair value, preceded by the strategic and financial analysis and long-term financial plan. The valuation is made to the January 1, 2012 and will be available exclusively for internal company matters.
Bituminous mixtures with a higher lifetime using recycled asphalt
Stromecký, Roman ; Musil, Vladimír (referee) ; Kudrna, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a project of asphalt mixtures with high stiffness modulus using R-material. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of these mixtures in the Czech Republic and in Switzerland. Further this part deals with the use of R-material in the Czech Republic and chosen other countries of the world, it also deals with the ways of recycling roads. The theoretical part also deals with the testing methods used. In the practical part two new asphalt mixtures of the high stiffness modulus type with the addition of 25 % R-material are suggested. As a base for these two mixtures a mixture of the high stiffness modulus type, which was taken from an asphalt mixing plant, was used. Tests were run on the binders and several functional tests (stiffness modulus, fatigue resistance, low temperature qualities) wer done on the suggested asphalt mixtures and also the mixture taken from the mixing plant. Consequently, the results were compared. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to modelling a construction of a road using the program LayEps, which verified if the suggested mixtures could reduce the thickness of roads.
Properties of binders suitable for hot applied sealants and bituminous membranes
Musil, Vladimír ; Dašek, Ondřej (referee) ; Kudrna, Jan (advisor)
The work describes the basic laboratory characteristics of selected asphalt binders that could be suitable for hot applied sealants and bituminous membranes. Paving grade bitumen, polymer modified bitumen, asfalt-rubber and polymer modified bitumen with crumb rubber addition were used. Properties of binders were compared using tests of dynamic viscosity, needle penetration, cone penetration, softening point, resilience and elastic recovery.
Plagiarism Prevention as a Goal of Information Education: Possible Solutions in the Environment of Academic Libraries in the Czech Republic
Data mining of the database of Consulting centre for metabolism disorders
Senft, Martin ; Ivánek, Jiří (advisor) ; Musil, Vladimír (referee)
This thesis applies the data mining method of decision rules on data from Consulting centre for Metabolism disorders from University hospital Pilsen. As a tool is used the system LISp-Miner, developed at University of Economics, Prague. Decision rules found are evaluated by a specialist. The main parts of this thesis are followings: an overview on main data mining methods and results evalutation methods, description of the data mining method application on data and description and evaluation of results.

Linguistic aspects of the information science in the application of the recent technical language with emphasis on anatomical terminology
Musil, Vladimír ; Stingl, Josef (advisor) ; Feberová, Jitka (referee) ; Bozděchová, Ivana (referee)
Although anatomical terminology is in use for more than 2000 years, its first official publication achieved in 1895. The need for development of cogent nomenclature arose due to the high level of synonyms labeling individual anatomical structures. Thus towards the end of the 19th century existed more then 50 000 terms describing approximately 5 000 known structures at that time. Such synonymity caused and still causes chaos, especially in the research activities field. The reason for this is fact that most of the research performed not directly by medical field specialists but also information field specialists does not respect the historical evolution of terms. More, it mixes them according to different issues of the official terminologies. Also, further making the research activity complicated is wrong use of anatomical terms, lack of knowledge and misuse of latine grammary and last but not least americanization of the latine terms. Another hot topic is non existence of the official Czech anatomical terminology. This leads to increased tendency of neologisms formation which in turn causes increase of synonymities. Our study demonstrates above mentioned problems on examples from selected human body structures like locomotory and circulatory systems: bursas, 33 selected skeletal muscles, VIIIth cranial...
