Application Demonstrating Multi-Biometric Fusion
Hanák, Jaroslav ; Hrubý, Martin (referee) ; Mráček, Štěpán (advisor)
This work is focused on biometrics, multi-biometrics, normalization and fusion in multi-biometrics systems and their performance evaluation. It contains a brief introduction to the problem and an overview of the techniques. The aim is to design and then implement an application demonstrating the performance of systems that fall into the category of multi-modal biometric systems. Furthermore, the experiments with the database templates of multi-biometric system and the conclusion summarizes the results.
Software for the Spectroscopy Method LIBS
Vyroubalová, Jana ; Mráček, Štěpán (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This thesis discusses creating of software for the LIBS spectroscopy method (for an electronic chamber). In the first part the reader will learn about the LIBS method and about a short description of a workplace, where the project is being created. Then I write about an application design for   laboratories, which are going to use this method. Next I describe an implementation of software, where the reader can find some details about used algorithms for autofocus (an evaluation of image sharpness and an iterative determination of the position of the camera). The end of this work is focused on the assessment of GUI and testing the application.
Pattern Matching in Digital Images
Šramko, Samuel ; Mráček, Štěpán (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This work deals with pattern matching in digital images. It describes theoretical presumptions for matching using template matching and SURF algorithms and their following use in solving correspondence problem. Work also describes design, implementation and testing phase of application, which uses aforesaid algorithms written in C++ language with OpenCV and Qt libraries. At the end this thesis describes format of tests and summarize obtained results.
Visual Simulator of Associative Memory Type of Neural Networks
Mráček, Štěpán ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Martinek, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on associative neural networks. The theoretical part of the~thesis presents an explanation of neuron, neural network and associative memory concepts. The practical part is about designing and implementing an application allowing the~demonstration of learning algorithms and the response to specific input.
Biometric Recognition of 3D Faces
Biometric Recognition of 3D Faces
Michálek, Martin ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Mráček, Štěpán (advisor)
This thesis is about biometric 3D face recognition . A general biometric system as well as functioning of biometric system are present . Techniques used in 2D and 3D face recognition are described . Finally , an automatic biometric system for 3D face recognition is proposed and implemeted . This system divide face for areas by position of detected landmarks . Particular areas are compared separately . Final system fusion results from Eigenfaces and ARENA algorithms .
Automatic Segmentation of Cardiac Tissue Movement from ECG Record
Matocha, Petr ; Hrubý, Martin (referee) ; Mráček, Štěpán (advisor)
This thesis deals with the automatic segmentation of the cardiac tissue movement from ECG record. It describes the design and implementation of application that automatically segments the record into individual ECG heart contractions. ECG record is stored separately or is included in the video. These input data are stored in files in the DICOM format or in the HDF format.
Speckle Tracking Echocardiography
Strecha, Juraj ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Mráček, Štěpán (advisor)
he thesis deals with proposal of an algorithm and implementation of a program that tracks a motion of the heart muscle in the captured ultrasound video of the heart. The point position estimation is calculated by optical flow method. The Active Shape Model method is used to confirm the accuracy of point's position tracking. The user annotates desired structure of the heart arch first and the application displays new points which represent a new deformed heart shape.
Automatic Segmentation of Cardiac Tissue Movement from Ultrasound Record
Munzar, Milan ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Mráček, Štěpán (advisor)
This thesis describes design and implementation of method, which determines beginning of heart beats in echocardiographic record. Design of this method is built around pyramidal Lucas-Kanade algorithm and fast Fourier transform. This method is implemented in C++ language with OpenCV and FFTW libraries. Analysis of the implementation has shown, that this method is sensitive to anomalies in echocardiographic record. This method is developed as a part of the project for an analysis of echocardiographic records for st. Anna hospital at Brno.
Multibiometric System Combining Iris and Retina
Janečka, Petr ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Mráček, Štěpán (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on multibiometric systems, specifically on biometric fusion. The thesis describes eye biometrics, i.e. recognition based on retina and iris. The key part consists of design and implementation specification of a biometric system based on retina and iris recognition.
