Motivation of employees in relation to work benefits

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of employees motivation in relation to work benefits. The main aim is to analyse the impact of employee benefits on motivating employees. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis defines motivation, work motivation, motive, stimulus, and theory of motivation of working behaviour. It also describes employee benefit, their ways of implementation and their breakdown. Lastly, the current trends of benefits that occur in the labour market and are included in the employment package. The practical part of this thesis deals with research relating to the influence of employee benefits on the motivation of employees in the company Termonta Praha a.s. This was conducted in the form of a questionnaire survey, the aim of which was to determine the impact of the individual benefits that this firm provides to its employees on their work motivation. The conclusion of this thesis evaluates the data gathered from the questionnaires and analyses the results, in addition to proposing possible changes to the benefits system, which could lead employees to greater motivation and greater work performance.
Motivation to join student organizations at University of Economics, Prague

Nowadays, meaning of participation in voluntary student organizations is growing. The main reason for being a member of such groups could not be salary, as it could be choosing a different activity. This thesis analyses and subsequently evaluates major motives of joining the voluntary student organizations. Moreover, it focuses on possible ways how to stimulate students to continue with the activity and what was the original motivation to join a voluntary student club in the first place. The conclusion of the thesis includes outcomes of the research that show, among others, the most common motives such as performing meaningful activities, access to contacts and the need to be a part of a team.
Engagement of employees in the international company

The aim of the diploma thesis is to create a strategy to support the engagement of members of one of the teams of a multinational company, which faces a high level of voluntary fluctuation. The recommendations are compiled in accordance with the stated theory and on the basis of a comparison of the results of two specific teams, one of which is characterized by a low employee turnover rate. On the basis of the theoretical background and the already existing questionnaire Q12 from Gallup company, a questionnaire survey is compiled. According to the results obtained, the hypothesis is verified: The members of the Spanish team have a higher engagement rate than the members of the French team. The obtained data show that the members of the French team are not satisfied with the team social climate. Then he highest proportion of nonengaged workers is identified in the category of foreign workers and among men. The thesis also deals with the interconnection of knowledge of positive psychology in working life and their connection with the engagement of employees. At the end of the thesis the recommendations for the management of the company are presented, which are the added value of this thesis. The study revealed statistically significant differences between different categories of workers that may be subject to further investigation
Personnel marketing

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to describe implements of personnel marketing and analyse effectivity of its application in internal company practice. Then, based on the identified indicators, provide recommendations for optimizing internal procedures according to personnel marketing. For the formulation of the theoretical part, outputs from the literature research were used. To acquire data to measure the effectiveness, the questionnaire survey was used on a specific group consisting of middle and lower management personnel of the company surveyed.
Women coming back to the labour market after maternity or parental leave

The main theme of this thesis is the issue of the transition between motherhood and employment, focusing on the different strategies of each woman and the reasons for their choice. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze factors influencing women's decision to return to the labour market after maternity or parental leave. Primary emphasis is put on a detailed description of the motives and barriers influencing the decision to return to the labour market, through the actual story of each woman. The objectives were achieved by two methods of data collection. Those were quantitative research in the form of questionnaire surveys and qualitative research in the form of semi-structured interviews. The interviewed stories offer a more detailed insight into women's life experiences, tailoring their decision to return to the labour market in connection with their motherhood.
Analysing options to increase the attractiveness of graduates of the University of Economic, Prague in the labour market

The thesis focuses on analysing the possibility of increasing the attractiveness of graduates of the University of Economics Prague (VŠE) in the labour market. It maps the opportunities for enhancing the knowledge and skills beyond the scope of the regular instruction. The theoretical part among others includes an overview of the historical development of the number of university graduates and their employability in different fields. Furthermore, it focuses on the interpretation of selected theories of career management, the topic of career development and the career management skills, the so called new careers and new psychological contracts (all in relation to university graduates). The empirical part includes the analysis of students potential activities that may play a role in their entry in the labour market. The empirical investigation was carried out focused on the expectations of employers in relation to graduates and to what extent do employers take into account graduates previous activities for acquiring knowledge and skills beyond the scope of their studies. The results of the work are the practical recommendations for students / alumni of VŠE justified on the basis of the analysis.
Time management

It is of great necessity to know how to manage time. The theoretical part of this thesis is concerned with the definition of time management, its origin and evolution. It covers the basic rules of efficient time management and the principles of efficient work organization. It describes the usage of goals and their setting, circadian rhythms and their influence on our productivity and the most common factors that steal our time. Based on the analysis of time frames and half-structured interviews, the empirical part follows the lives of six university students for two weeks. Our goal is to find out how the respondents use their time, what is their knowledge of time management and also to cover the difference between students living in a room alone and students sharing a room with one or multiple roommates.
Design of online communication plan for a selected mobile application

The aim of the bachelor thesis called "Design of online communication plan for a selected mobile application" is to design a plan of online communication, which helps to put a mobile application QuickJOBS on the market. The theoretical part of the thesis collects and specifies chosen terms from the field of digital marketing, social media, marketing communication and online communication mix. A method of comparing information from available literary and online sources, which are related to the selected topic of the bachelor thesis, is used in the theoretical part. The practical part of the thesis is focused on designing the plan of online communication, which is preceded by the introduction of the mobile application and a situation analysis. The result of the thesis will be used in practice.
