Enterprise-wide planning process, comparing the plan with reality, evaluating deviations and reporting are the most important aspects of corporate governance in the current period. Controller assigned irreplaceable function of initiator, coordinator and methodology in the entire planning process. Part of planning is the preparation of operational plans and budgets, which are the central theme of this work. This work covers applications controlling methods and tools for portfolio of managed projects (companies providing rental of commercial space). The nature and importance of controlling, controlling selected methods and analysis is explained in the theoretical part. In the second, practical part was, after the analysis of costs and revenues, prepared a model of corporate budget and its component parts

The implementation of controlling system

The diploma thesis describes the implementation of controlling information system in the company. The theoretical part deals with the theory of controlling, describes the position of controller in the company, its relation to management, objectives and functions of controlling. In the practical part is introduced the company, the organization structure, the controlling department and its integration into the organization structure with description of functions and activities. The key part of the thesis is to describe the implementation process of an information system in the company, including comments and recommendations.

The thesis "Financial analysis" of AMATI -- Denak Company Ltd. is made up from theoretical part, where is explained methodic used for financial analysis (vertical and horizontal analysis, balance rules, relative and differential value ratios, value and bankruptcy models, comparation with the sector, decomposition of peak indicators. The practical part applies these methods directly to the AMATI -- Denak Company Ltd.

Financial Analysis of ČEPS Inc.

The main goal of this thesis is to prepare financial analysis of ČEPS Inc., evaluate the financial health of the company during the years of 2006 - 2010 and execute cost analysis with focus on break even point analysis. In the methodological part I present methods, which are used in financial analysis and techniques of calculation each single indicator. The practical part describes the ČEPS Inc. and apply techniques from methodological part on company accouting sheets data. In conclusion of this thesis I will try to briefly summarize the financial healt of the company.

Analyzing and Controlling of the Costs

This master's thesis deals with the cost planning and cost control in construction company specializing mainly in road construction works. The theoretical part concerns first with the description of cost planning process and its specifics in analysed company. The objective of cost control is then to carry out the variance analysis by selected performances and to give further recommendations for adjusting of standards of direct costs, based on achieved results from undertaken analysis. The last part deals with the design of appropriate method for cost control procedure, based on the Pareto principle and setting of tolerance intervals for cost amount. Excess of these intervals requires additional control of these costs and explanation of reasons, why this increased variance exists.

Analysis of costs in the company called Jihočeská zelenina, a.s.

The Master's thesis with the title the analysis of costs in the company called Jihočeská zelenina a.s. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part prepared the basis for the subsequent practical part. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate financial and managerial accounting system in controlling costs in Jihočeská zelenina a.s. and propose solutions for their effectiveness. First was described the organizational structure of the company and its range of products and was mapped his previous work with information at all levels of management. The way of preparing calculations and their current form was solved then. A new possibility how to prepare the calculation was proposed after it. At the conclusion was written about the technical aspect of the topic. They were designed different software solutions in the existing enterprise accounting software, in application MS Excel or the possibility of purchasing a new software programme.

This Diploma thesis aims to theoretically define tools used by modern controlling and then practically apply them in specific company in Czech Republic. To analyse the chosen company will be used both strategic and operational controlling instruments. Calculations and analysis will help the company to understand the environment in which they operate and which is their current position. Finally I formulate opinions and recommendations about the currently used procedures in the company.

Diploma thesis is focused on reporting process in the sale company BSH domácí spotřebiče s.r.o. In the beginning it explains differences between management, financial and tax accounting. There is the aim to emphasize the importance of management accounting in the broader sense, in the process of strategic, tactic and operative cost controlling. The source of information for cost accounting is controlling. Controller, in retrospect to content of diploma thesis, intermediate the results through reporting. Goal of my diploma thesis is to familiarize reader with reporting in leading international company to help him apprehend the idea of the work so he could use the skills in practice.

Controlling

Documentation of business processes and results of operations including storing the entries in data warehouses inherently belongs to the current requirements for corporate governance. But still more valuable is the ability to process the collected data into information that is used daily as a basis for management decisions at all levels of corporate management. This thesis deals just with form and methods of organizing information into standardized reports, whereas the object of analysis is a separate internal department within a selected company. The aim of this work is a detailed analysis of department reporting, assessment of its informative quality, utility and benefit for users. The theoretical part includes methodological bases and general principles for creating reports. Content of the practical part is an entire description of standard reports with a focus on application of controlling methods, usage of reported data and detection of weaknesses. In conclusion part there was evaluated overall level of analyzed reporting system, there were summarized circumstances that affect its present-day form, and proposed additional indicators, that could enrich the current concept.

Reporting v bankovnictví

Ve své práci se zabývám problematikou reportingu ve specifické oblasti podnikání, a to v bankovnictví. Zaměřuji se na zmapování okruhů reportování směřujících jak k interním, tak také k externím uživatelům. V jednotlivých kapitolách se věnuji zajímavostem, které jsou s danou oblastí reportování spojeny, včetně popisu procesu zpracování příslušných reportů. Výsledkem je přehled všech oblastí reportování, uživatelů, kterým dané reporty slouží a očekávání, která jsou spjata s budoucím vývojem v této oblasti v konkrétním bankovním subjektu.
