Pastoral aspects of Baptism in the current debate in the German speaking sphere..

The thesis "Pastoral aspects of the baptism in the current discussion in the German speaking countries" analyzes critically the theological discussion since the seventies. The baptism is deprived of its closely sacramental and christological determination and is treated as an occasional service. Biographical and ritual concepts of the occasional services attribute to these acts a special theological significance that cannot be derived from Christ's commission to preach the gospel, but rather is rooted in a piety, which targets the life cycle of individuals and families. Occasional services are therefore seen as a pastoral accompaniment of man in his fault (and critical) stage of life. Its aim is to convey his emotional and cognitive stabilization and assist in re-establishing his fluctuating identity. The practice of the baptism, in this perspective, must regard ambivalent experiences of parents and provide them an appropriate religious intervention. Traditional theological contents of the baptism are markedly eliminated with regard to the situation of the distant Christians who became estranged from the reflected Christianity. The development of the catechetics in the Czech countries in the period 1920-1994

Anglická anotace The Development of The Catechetics in Czech countries from 1920 to 1994 The Catechetics is the scientific discipline that is concerned with the process of catechesis in the context of the pastoral practice of the Church. The beginnings of this discipline can be traced back to 1774 when the teaching of Catechetics had begun at The Faculty of Theology of Charles University in Prague. The subject of this work is concerned with changes of identity of Catechetics and with development of scientific reflection of catechesis in these areas: identity of catechesis, receivers of catechesis, tasks of catechesis in the pastoral practice, identity and personality of catechist, contents and aims of catechesis, methodology and organization of catechesis. The Period under consideration is devided into three periods according to significant historical events which are: the beginning the communistic persecution of the churches in 1950 and renovation of democracy in 1990. I found out and described some very interesting catechetical works in every of these periods. They had shifted forward the development of this discipline in our countries. Bc thesis SPORT AND ITS PLACE IN CHRISTIAN LIFE wants to unveil a man as the whole image of the God. We have been living with the hope of salvation and we will be saved as the whole - our body, soul and spirit. Spiritual dimension of the body is based on the faith of its ressurection. The body needs the same care, attention, creativity and gratitude to the Creator as the soul and spirit do. The sport is one of the way to the care of the body. This thesis wants not only critically evaluate the place of the sport and activity of the body in Christian life but also to find its blind alleyways and risks. It also deals with the question how significant the integration of regular sport activities into the curriculum of teological faculties can be in additon to the intelectual and spiritual formation. Keywords: pastor leadership, young adulthood, qualitative research, young people's relationship to the church, post modernity Presented work focuses on young adult Christians and their relationship to the church. The theoretical part describes the world in which the young people live, it characterizes a group of young adults and describes their problems. The practical part gives attention to young people's expectation towards the church. The conclusions were reached using the method of qualitative sociological research, namely with the help of semi-standardized dialogues with 14 young people. The practical part contains the description of research preparative work, data processing and the subsequent interpretation. In the conclusion pastoral theological reflexion is provided.

Jaká rozhodnutí čekají české europoslance v letech 2014–2019?

Na základě jednoduchého metodologického rám- ce tato studie přichází s katalogem klíčových témat, o kterých se bude rozhodovat v Evropské unii v násle- dujících letech. Jsou to otázky, o nichž budou přímo či nepřímo spolurozhodovat poslanci, které si zvolíme ve volbách do Evropského parlamentu (EP) v květnu 2014. Podstatným prvkem je posílení role EP dle platné Lisa- bonské smlouvy ve volbě předsedy Komise, která bude následovat po ustavení nového parlamentu v červenci 2014. Volby do EP tak přeneseně mimo jiné rozhodnou o předsedovi Komise, jejích členech a dalších předních představitelích Unie. Další balík důležitých témat tvoří neutěšený stav evropských ekonomik. Boj s nezaměstnaností nejen mlá- deže, vleklá krize eurozóny, neschopnost některých států dostát svým finančním závazkům a vynucená úsporná opatření tvoří prostor pro soupeření různých politických konceptů a návrhů řešení. Toto soupeření se odehrává jak na tradičním pravolevém politickém spektru, tak i na specifické štěpící linii mezi posilováním společných řešení nebo naopak preferováním národní úrovně. Stra- nou by nezůstane ani budoucí vývoj Společné zahraniční a bezpečnostní politiky, která by měla posílit vliv EU na globální úrovni, tak aby odpovídal její ekonomické síle. Podobně i spolupráce v oblasti energetiky a ochrany ži- votního prostředí v sobě obsahuje mnoho kontroverz- ních témat s výraznými ekonomickými dopady. Volby do EP mohou rozhodnout o budoucím směru EU a bylo by chybou v kampani zůstat pouze u domácích témat.
