Dendroflora of city park Dvořákovy sady in Karlovy Vary
Převrátilová, Jana ; Česká, Jana (advisor) ; Martin, Martin (referee)
This bachelors project deals with the inventory of trees and dendroflora assessment in the city park Dvořákovy sady in Karlovy vary. It is divided into two parts, begins with a literature review, which covers the history of Karlovy Vary and historical development of gardens, parks and orchards. Part of the research is also a chapter devoted emergence of city park Dvořákovy sady and characteristics of the area where there are described, inter alia, soil and climatic conditions of this place. The practical part contains an inventory of dendroflora, which took place during 2015. Horticultural assessment methodology was developed based on Ing. Jaroslav Kolarik and the goal was to obtain information about the health, vitality, height, girth, age and physiological age of the trees. The basis for the inventory of trees was a booklet about the nature trail from 2012, which includes a map without scale and inventory table. This publication contains erroneous and incomplete data and completely there is no objective assessment of the health and vital condition of trees. During inventory many pictures have been taken, the most interesting became part of this thesis. In this section are described according to the author interesting taxons of trees, memorial trees and park zones (lawns, flower-garden). Main objective of research is inventory of species of trees, including an assessment of current state of trees and park zones.
Historic greenhouse in castle grounds Konopiště
Nohejlová, Kristýna ; Česká, Jana (advisor) ; Martin, Martin (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is an inventory of all plant kinds in a historical green house Konopiste. It is known that there are over 200 different kinds of plants currently growing in that place. The exact number cannot be listed and stated, because it is still moving and varies. There are some plants that are still growing at one place in a soil for many years. One of the examples is Phoenix canariensis, which dominates the whole green house. The majority of plants are grown there in planters. That enables their easy manipulation within the whole green house. The inventory of all kinds of plants took place between March 2015 and February 2016. Each plant has been noted down according to its station. The first chapter deals not only with the history of the castle itself, but is also described together with the history of the green house and its surrounding areas. Unfortunately there has been only a limited amount of resources available to study for me and to use. Therefore my description does not go into deep details. In this chapter, I therefore describe some technical achievements and economical parameter and measures. They show how the green house has been heated in those days and describe the details of pluming. There is also a short description of a mechanism which opened the windows in order to cause air flow circulation. The main was Encyclopedia of garden plants by Christopher Brickell. The Latin names of individual kinds were flowingly sorted using the websites ipni.org. The fifth chapter is dedicated to the inventory. Each green house section has its own general description, from which, there has been lately chosen a sample of the most interesting plants. Their characteristics were then described, using those specialized books. The final inventory of green houses is than shown in additional tables. The sixth chapter includes and deals with recommendations of the writer. The writer suggested a better marking, using a good quality materials and labels. (Steel and enamel) Another suggestion, which the writer made, was to follow the inventory stock take, but some of the plants should be repositioned. The ones, that were not in blossom, or were not grown up enough, in order to mark their characteristics. In an attachment there are the photographs of the castle, together with the Rose garden and its green house. Other photographs show some interesting, or rare plants. They may have unusual shape, or a beautiful loom.

Analysis of labour market in selected region
Bednaříková, Kamila ; Homolka, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Martin, Martin (referee)
The bachelor thesis Analysis of the labor market in selected region deals with the assessment of labor market developments in the Šumperk district in the period 2004-2014 with a special focus on women. In the first theoretical part there are defined the basic concepts associated with the labor market as unemployment, active employment policy or the method of calculating unemployment. The Šumperk district is briefly characterized in the second practical part, there is analyzed the overall unemployment rate for the region and further unemployment rates for women by age, educational attainment and according to criteria that are important in finding new employment as well. Collected data are compiled into tables and graphs. In conclusion, the processed values were evaluated. During the evaluation of the bachelor thesis it was showed the fact that throughout the reporting period female unemployment rate does not exceed the rate of male unemployment. The biggest difference was in the year 2013 when the number of women - job seekers was about 726 less than the men. From this year the trend began to change and at the end of the reporting period, to 31. 3. 2015, the number of women applicants for work for the first time exceeded the number of men - job seekers. Since 2013 the number of women over 45-years without work has dramatically increased and the average age of unemployed women raised. While in 2004 it was the age of 37.4, in 2015 it moved to the value of 42.4 age.

Datawarehouse
Ragab Negm, Hussein Mohamed Abdelhaq ; Merunka, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Martin, Martin (referee)
Data is being produced by the firms in ever increasing rates and firms are finding new ways to make use of data to create business value. The generated volumes of data create the need for better and cheaper storage options that allows utilizing the data as well. Data warehouses have emerged as the most appropriate tool for this task. However, data warehouses come with significant costs both human and financial. The pool of technologies for implementing data warehouses is versatile. This project aims to provide a comparative implementation using two of the technologies, namely, Microsoft SQL Server and Apache Hadoop. The project covers the different phases of building a data warehouse; the requirements specification phase; the design phase and a compact comparison between the entity-relation and dimensional modeling design techniques and the process of building a dimensional model based on based on the application data sources; the extract-transform-load phase. The comparison is then made between the two technologies for data capacity, data loading, connectivity and querying data. The project concludes that the decision to choose between Microsoft SQL Server and Apache Hadoop is not a recommendation for one over the other but should be based on the needs, resources and the existing ecosystem. Hadoop would be the choice for bigger amounts of data, unstructured or irregular data formats, and when the licensing fees are an unaffordable cost. On the other hand, Microsoft SQL Server would make a better choice when the data is structured, the anticipated data volumes are suitable and when the rest of ecosystem is Microsoft based. Future development for this project should cover new ways to make Hadoop more efficient with smaller data volumes.
Optimization of the rearing of the species Danio rerio (Hamilton, 1822)
Gottwald, Milan ; Kalous, Lukáš (advisor) ; Martin, Martin (referee)
The diploma thesis summarizes the experimental method for the rearing of zebrafish Danio rerio (Hamilton, 1822) screed. The work of figuring out which of the methods of rearing fry in the transitional period of the ontogenetic development is best for the survival rate and growth of the standard length of the surveyed individuals. The test was carried out on two basic lines of zebrafish Wild Type and Casper. At the beginning of the test were created four groups divided by feeding mode. The control group was fed once a day with pellet feed GEMMA Micro 75 and one day from the 10th day after fertilization the fed with nauplii stages of brine shrimps Artemia salina (Linnaeus, 1758). The second group was fed only once a day with pellet feed GEMMA Micro 75. The last two groups were fed five times a day saltwater rotifer species Brachionus plicatilis (Müller, 1786), and only one of them and the other was still three times daily nourished with nauplii stages of brine shrimps. For each group of four representative have been created initially, thirty tanks of fish at the age of five days after fertilization. The results of this method have shown that the methods they use to feed the rotifers, did not have a statistically significant impact on the survival rate of individuals. In the growth of this method has proven to be statistically significant result in the group where the fed in combination with brine shrimps, where to achieve the average standard size of juvenile fish 16.02 +/- 0.80 mm for the Wild type and 17.39 +/- 0.81 mm for Casper, compared to the control group, that has been the standard length 11.63 +/- 0.64 mm for the Wild Type and 9.54 +/- 0.56 mm for Casper. This method has great potential and breeding is therefore necessary to further develop this method and to adapt it to individual zebrafish facilities.
