Discharge plasma sources supported by magnetic field
Kolpaková, Anna ; Kudrna, Pavel (advisor) ; Marek, Aleš (referee)
This work concerns the low-temperature plasma diagnostic in the dcdischarge in the cylindrical magnetron in argon. For measurements Langmuir and emissive probes were used. The aim of this diploma work was the diagnostics of the radial plasma parameters especially with the improved construction of the emissive probe and the verification of it's use for the determination of the plasma potential. The work was also focused on the influence of the angle between the emissive probe loop and the magnetic field to the emissive probe data. In the experimental part the cylindrical magnetron system, the construction of Langmuir and emissive probes and the probe circuit are described. After that the software for the data acquisition created using Agilent VEE programming language and evaluation of probe data is explained. Probe characteristics were measured by the Langmuir probe in the dependence on the radial position. In such way the radial profiles of the plasma potential, floating potential and electron density were determined. Measurements were performed at different values of the pressure, magnetic field and the discharge current. The floating potential of the strongly emitting probe was used to measure the plasma potential at different magnetic field strengths.
TV Advertisement Formats Used by Vodafone and How Czech Consumers Perceive Them
Šimková, Aneta ; Vávra, Oldřich (advisor) ; Marek, Aleš (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to assess using selected marketing tools how Czech consumers perceive different formats of television advertisement used by Vodafone. To this end, Vodafone TV spots aired in the Czech Republic between 2005 and 2016 were analysed focusing mainly on TV spots aired in the past few years. An integral part of this thesis is the qualitative Focus Group research method and probe questionnaires distributed among Czech consumers. The results of this research are subsequently compared with the Multicriterial research MML TGI Median Company and also with the research results of the Nielsen Company.
Frustrated Lewis pairs-assisted reduction of carbonyl compounds
Marek, Aleš ; Pedersen, M. H. F.
An alternative and robust method for the reduction of carbonyl groups by frustrated Lewis pairs (FLPs) is reported in this paper. With its very mild reaction conditions, good to excellent yields, absolute regioselectivity and the non-metallic character of the reagent, it provides an excellent tool for 1H, 2H as well as 3H chemistry. It is a new strategy for the one-pot synthesis of aromatic alcohols selectively labeled with heavy isotopes of hydrogen.
Analysis of the highest and best use of a public services building in Brno-Kohoutovice
Marek, Aleš ; Klika, Pavel (referee) ; Komosná, Milada (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the less used method of valuation of assets. It is an analysis of the highest and best use (HABU). The theoretical part of this thesis presents the basic law governing the valuation of assets, there are also explained the basic concepts and discribes the analysis of the highest and best use method. The practical part of the access method of valuation applied to a particular case.
Superior detached house
Marek, Aleš ; Jarošová, Petra (referee) ; Utíkalová, Ivana (advisor)
The house is situated in the real terrain in Brno Pisárky on Vinařská street. The building is rectangular in shape with flat roofed embedded into the sloping terrain. To accomplish this modern expression of the building, I applied to the object glass corner wall. Another notable element is the oriel, which also serves as a shield for the glass wall. Object color is white with a combination of gray.
Impact of weathering on chemical and morphological changes in stabilized polymers
Pospíšil, Jan ; Pilař, Jan ; Billingham, N. C. ; Marek, Antonín ; Kruliš, Zdeněk ; Nešpůrek, Stanislav ; Habicher, W. D.
Photooxidation, considered as the principal component of natural and accelerated weathering, affects together with oxygen, oxidizing and acid atmospheric pollutants durability of stabilized polymers by changing their chemical and supramolecular structure and influencing efficiency of stabilizers. Effects of the harshness of accelerated photooxidation, negative influences of atmospheric pollutants, heterogeneity in polymer oxidation together with formation of concentration gradients in stabilizer consumption and spatial distribution of stabilizer sacrificial transformation products are outlined. The data give more information on processes accompanying testing of stabilizer polymers and help to minimize misleading influences from over-accelerated tests.
