Structura of stainless steels, surface treatment technology, chemical treatment of austenitic steel, treatment in radiofrequency.
Thin plasma polymer films on metal substrates
Mach, Pavel ; Salyk, Ota (referee) ; Přikryl, Radek (advisor)
The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on surface treatments, their evaluation from the point of view visual properties, plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition and analysis of thin layers prepared by plasma polymerization. The experimental part of the thesis deals with surface treatment of stainless steel AISI 304. Thin layers of pp-HMDSO (plasma-polymer) and of DLC are deposited on the steel´s surface for the purpose of preparing transparent layer, which protect steel´s surface against of making finger prints visible. As an objective method is chosen an immersion test in artificial sweat solution according to standard ČSN EN ISO 105-E04. Evaluation of the test is measured by a gloss-meter and by a colorimeter. Prepared layers are identificated by FTIR method.

- Praha, 2011 - 163 s. Abstract The residences of the Czech and Moravian nobility were form way back symbols of power, representativeness and wealth. As well as it happened in the case of the castle buildings of the Rožmberks and the Lords of Hradec in Jindřichův Hradec and in Telč. Rows of Vlachs and other masters, who transformed the character of the then towns in the new renaissance direction according to the desires of the investors and the then construction trends, were coming not only in these places. The names of Vlachs, among which the front place takes Antonio Ericer, Baldassare Maggi, Antonio and Benedetto Domenico Cometta of Giovanni Maria Facconi, ranked in their times not only among the front representatives of construction acts in the dominion of the Rožmberks and the Lords of Hradec in the south of Bohemia and Moravia, but also among the significant masters of the Czech and Moravian architecture ot the 16th and 17th centuries. The to-this-day preserved remarkable palaces and castle compounds are still surrounded with lack of...

Mach, Pavel ; Zlatohlávek, Martin (advisor) ; Kropáček, Jiří (referee)
Carlo Valmadi (about 1550 - 1620) - a Renaissance architect in Trutnov region Theme of this bachelor work is a summary of Carlo Valmadi's building activities. This Italien Renaissance architect worked on Valdštejn lordship - Hostinné steam - from 1572 to 1620. This bachelor work is devided into several chapters. His life is still very unclear and we don't have enough information about him. The second part of this chapter describes Valmadi's coming to Bohemia. Another part speaks about building conditions in Renaissance Prague, especially about Rožmberk and Lobkovic palaces. These two remarkable buildings are connected mainly with Italien builders. And also Carlo Valmadi probably joined in building of Lobkovic palace. Then the chapter discusses coming of this builder to Hostinné region. He came there during rule of Jiří Valdštejn. Jiří Valdštejn's wife Marie Magdalena Lobkovic probably knew Walmadi's work and it's possible, that she invited Valmadi into this region. Marie Magdalena's father was a builder of Lobkovic palace...
Czech nationalism and the emergence of the Czechoslovak Church
Mach, Pavel ; Lášek, Jan Blahoslav (advisor) ; Kučera, Zdeněk (referee) ; Weis, Martin (referee)
This paper describes nationalism as a phenomenon that has become an integral part of Czech society in the 19th century and its manifestations. It describes the main motives Czech nationalist ideology created by T. G. Masaryk. The work deals with the problem of modernism in the Catholic Church, whose adherents later became the founder of the Church of Czechoslovakia. Briefly describes the lives of the founders of the church and their relationship to nationalist political movements. The core of the work is the analysis of texts relating to the reform movement of the Czech Catholic clergy and the Czechoslovak church, from the period between 1906 - 1931, which is determined by the definition of nationalism seeks to assess its impact on the formation and other life Czechoslovak Church.

Multidimensional transfer functions for scalar volumetric data visualization
Mach, Pavel ; Kolomazník, Jan (advisor) ; Dupej, Ján (referee)
Direct volume rendering is an algorithm used for displaying three-dimensional scalar data, like image from Computed Tomography. This algorithm makes use of a concept of Transfer functions for assigning optical properties to the data values. We studied two dimensional transfer functions, that besides primary values have additional dataset as an input. In particular, we studied computation of this secondary dataset with respect to the primary image function shape. This was done by analysing eigenvalues of the Hessian matrix in each image point. We proposed one formula and implemented several others for computing the probability that image point belongs to the blood vessel. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Face Recognition in Social Networks
Mach, Pavel ; Skopal, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kolomazník, Jan (referee)
Popularity of face recognition in image galleries and social networks is growing. But none of these real world applications let the user adjust parameters. The goal of this thesis is to develop a library for face detection and recognition which can be easily used in some other program and also a web application recognizing faces, with environment similar to the one of social networks, which uses the library. Of course we do not try to compete with big social networks in the field of face recognition, because it will be almost impossible due to their enormous databases. In the experimental part of the work we try to find most suitable parameters such that face detection and face recognition would be as accurate as possible.
