Design of a high-speed electrical machine.
Šolc, Martin ; Klíma, Jiří (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis is dedicated to design of highspeed induction motor with power 30 kW, 60 000 rpm. In the beginning of the thesis basic problematic of highspeed motors, used materials and motor types is discussed. The practical part of the thesis concerns design of the motor itself, creating a model in ANSYS Maxwell software, performing several simulations and optimalization of the designed machine. In the last parf of this thesis each simulation is evaluated and the final model of the machine is introduced.
Parameter analysis of single-phase transformer
Russ, David ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Cipín, Radoslav (advisor)
The aim of Bachelors thesis is to focus on the principle of a transformer using finite element method. I will focus on single-phase transformers with low power. On the specified types of transformers are made complete proposal of individual parameters, which are then compared with the results simulated using program. In ANSYS Maxwell were 2D models created according to the real transformers and subsequently simulated their behavior under no- load and short-circuit. In conclusion the mutual comparison between different types of transformers.
Parameter analysis of induction motor equivalent circuits
Minks, Ondřej ; Běloušek, Radim (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
This work deals with the determination of the parameters of induction motor equivalent circuits in T-network, gamma-network and inverted gamma-network form from no-load test and discovering voltage dependence of these parameters. For each of these circuits are determined dependencies of the torque and the stator current on the slip. Using the MATLAB simulations, the theoretically derived dependencies are compared with real, which are measured on the motor with the squirrel-cage rotor with power 0,6 kW, 2p = 2, both in operating and in whole motor area.
Braking of an induction machine
Mareček, Šimon ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
The work is focused on the braking of an induction engine and the risks associated with it. In the first part, there are readers acquainted with the technical parameters of the induction engine, which is used for simulations. The second part focuses on the simulation program Ansys Maxwell and the finite element method. In the third part, there are readers introduced to a general description of the induction machine. The fourth part consists of countercurrent braking. The penultimate part is devoted to dynamic braking. The last part contains a brief introduction to generator braking. The chapters focused on braking are supplemented by simulated waveforms.
Single-Phase Induction Motor Calculation
Kostov, Jiří ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
Diploma Thespis is focused on development, parameters and construction of one-phase induction motor underplayed by calculations. Emphasis was dealt to simplify motor development process by developed computer program. Program calculations were approved by parallel by hand calculations and by experimental measuring of real processed motor.
Influence of rotor slots number on a small induction motor losses
Palsovics, Norbert ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this semester work is to analyze the losses of induction motor, according to their measure, use programs using the finite element method for the detection of the motor and the subsequent evaluation and comparison of the results obtained. The first part deals with the general AM, losses and measure their losses. The next section is very Lossmeasurement submitted asynchronous motors. The measured two machines have different characteristics in the sheet. The following section is calculating the losses using the finite element method using ANSYS Maxwell and RMXprt. The next part is the analysis of motor losses with a different number of rotor bars. This section is addressed to the models developed and validated by measuring the actual machine.
Induction machine design software
Rúra, Dávid ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Bárta, Jan (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with design algorithm of squirrel cage machines with TEFC design focusing on electromagnetic and thermal design. This type of machine is mostly used in the industry because of its specific properties. Design TEFC machines are supported by year-tested analytical calculations with high accuracy. The aim of this work is to decrease human factor in the design process implementing algorithms and optimization.
Design and measurement of a small induction motor
Fišer, Jan ; Klíma, Jiří (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design and measurement of a small induction motor. The introduction describes a structure and an operating principle of the induction motor. The following part deals with analytical calculation of three-phase induction motor‘s properties. Next are executed an analytical calculations and a finite element method calculations by the Maxwell software. In the end are these calculations compared with results from measurement.
Losses analysis of small induction motors
Šišák, David ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with analysis of losses of small induction motors. The first part of the project introduces the principle of operation and construction of induction motors. Furthermore, there is dealt with issuing each losses, their origin and disposition in induction motor. The project continues performing the analytical computation of the losses of induction motor with an output of 600 W. The losses of the motor are also calculated in the program Maxvell RMxprt. In the practical part, there are the results of the laboratory measurement on that motor and measurements concerning two another small induction motors different in nominal power. In the last part, there are compared the results of individual motor losses, obtained by computations and measuring. There are also compared the measuring results of losses of chosen motors depending on the nominal output.
