Zobrazování dětí v reklamách: problematické aspekty
MATĚJKOVÁ, Michaela
The topic of the bachelor thesis is an advertisement which shows children. It also covers ways how this kind of advertisement is restricted. The theoretical part describes what an advertisement is, its history and instruments. The paper deals with legal regulation of advertising in the Czech Republic and with current self-regulation mechanisms, in other words with ethical self-regulation. It views operations of the institutions that deal with these regulations. The paper defines who a child is. It covers the influence of advertisements and the media image of children who act in them. The aim of the paper is to create a set of standards, regulations and mechanisms which describe showing children in advertisements. Those are regulation mechanisms which are used in the Czech Republic and other selected countries. The practical part contains particular cases of inappropriate or banned advertisements and several selected advertisements on which were the above-mentioned mechanisms applied. Finally, the regulation of Czech advertisements is evaluated. The paper states the suitable advertisements which are harmless and interesting.
Intertextuality in the Genre of Newspaper Commentary
Matějková, Michaela ; Schneiderová, Soňa (advisor) ; Chejnová, Pavla (referee)
My bachelor thesis deals with Intertextuality in the genre of newspaper commentary. The theoretical part describes the concept of Intertextuality in various Czech language guides and its interpretation. Further I clarify the genre of analytical style of journalism - the commentary - its basic features and distinctive position in journalistic style. Material for the practical part I excerpted from the daily press in its electronic form, in the period from August 2012 to March 2014. Specifically, I focused on the daily Mladá fronta Dnes and Lidové noviny. An analysis of the material revealed that the authors of very frequent use of intertextuality apply their general knowledge, give this genre a strong distinctive character, expressing a subjective evaluation and gaining the attention of the recipient. Intertextual links in comments across all topics usually appear already in the headline of comments. The most common forms are allusions, quotations or paraphrases. Serves as a source pretext original literary, film, music, as well as sayings and proverbs or biblical references.
Determination of optimal processing parameters of common deposit materials in cold spray technology
Antoš, Zdeněk ; Matějková, Michaela (referee) ; Čížek, Jan (advisor)
Cold spray is a coating method at low temperatures. In contrast to precedent methods, there is no heat influece on the initial feedstock powder material and the original chemical and phase composition is therefore retained. Main aim of this work is to understand the technology of cold spray and the production of the respective coatings, and classification of the optimal parameters of depositon, e.g. temperature and pressure of the working gas.
Distributional and redistributional processes in the Czech Republic
MATĚJKOVÁ, Michaela
The theme of this thesis is "Distributional and redistributional processes in the Czech Republic". The aim of this thesis is to analyze incomes of Czech households in relation to flows related to the services of factors of production, and consequently, in response to the inequality, to examine redistributional processes that shape the final income of these households. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is devoted to literature search. There are explained basic concepts related to incomes of households, inequalities in income distribution and distributional and redistributional processes. There is also described the principle of social insurance, state social support and social assistance. The second part contains a description of the aim and methodology of this thesis. The third part of this thesis is the practical part. There is described structure and development of incomes of Czech households, state expenses on welfare benefits and there are evaluated income inequality and redistributional processes in the Czech Republic. On the basis of evaluated data, it is confirmed that among Czech households there is a specific degree of income inequality, but in comparison to other EU countries is this inequality one of the lowest. Income inequality is caused mainly wage inequalities. The aim of the state in the redistributional processes and the provision of welfare benefits is in particular to direct welfare benefits to people who need them the most and thus reduce income inequalities in society. On the basis of evaluated data and performed analysis in this thesis, it was found out that this assumption is fulfilled in the Czech Republic.
Optimization of biocompatible Ti/hydroxyapatite-based composite blends fabrication
Slovák, Tomáš ; Matějková, Michaela (referee) ; Čížek, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with optimalization of biocompatible composite mixtures based on titanium and hydroxyapatite. The theoretical part is focused on biomaterials, specifying Ti and HA in more detail. The following section pertains to the principle of mechanical alloying. Preparation of the biocompatible composite mixtures by mechanical alloying and their following analyses are described in the experimental part. Results obtained in the experimental part are summarized in the discussion.
Fatigue Properties of Materials with Protective Thermally Deposited Layers
Matějková, Michaela ; Kovářík,, Ondřej (referee) ; Čížek, Jan (advisor)
Titanium powder was deposited into low-carbon steel specimens using three thermal spray technologies: plasma spray, cold spray (USA, Singapore) and warm spray (denoted as PS, CSU, CS-S, and WS, respectively, in further text). The aim was to determine the influence of the coatings on the fatigue lives of the specimens. The experimental work was carried out in a symmetrical cantilever-beam bending setup using a computer-controlled SF-Test loading device. Further to that, the micro-morphology of coatings structure, their respective porosity content and the fracture surfaces of both coatings and substrate materials was carried out.
Study of preparation of ceramic membranes
Matějková, Michaela ; Částková, Klára (referee) ; Bartoníčková, Eva (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis the literature retrieval concerning the preparation of ceramic membranes suitable for power applications (membrane reactors, fuel cells) and materials suitable for their preparation, was summarised. Based on that literature retrieval the glycine-nitrate syntheses of selected ceramic materials were performed. As starting material was chosen zirconate structure (Zr-Ba-O), which was doped by cerium, iron, aluminium and manganese ions. The resulting powders were further processed to solid membranes by unaxial pressing and sintering (density of sintered bodies about 93 % t. d.). Then the influence of dopants on the properties of the powders and ceramic membranes were studied. The evaluation of properties (as phase composition, powders morphology and microstructure of ceramic bodies) was performed by x-ray analysis, scanning electron microscopy, a specific surface analysis and simultaneous thermal analysis.
Insolvency citizens of the Czech Republic
MATĚJKOVÁ, Michaela
The aim of my bachelor´s thesis is to map the situation of loan defaults by the Czech citizens. The theoretical part deals with the concept of insolvency. It is devoted to the description of the insolvency proceedings, the insolvency court characteristics and the characteristics of personal bankruptcy. Finally, the theoretical part is focused on the executors practise when loan aren´t repaid. The practical part aims the insolvency survey of the Czech citizens over 18 years old. Furthermore, the insolvency was compared according to sex, age, educational attainment and social status. Finally, it was investigated, how well are these respondents financially literate and if the lack of financial literacy affects the insolvency of surveyed ones.
