Eco-hotels

Cestovní ruch je nepřehlédnutelný fenomén současnosti. V turisticky atraktivních zemích se z velké části podílí na tvorbě HDP, na druhou stranu znečišťuje životní prostředí. Zejména v hotelnictví vzniká nadměrná produkce odpadu, plýtvá se energií a surovinami. Snažila jsem se v této práci popsat cestovní ruch jako celek. Na základě tohoto popisu jsem naznačila možné budoucí směrování ve smyslu trvale udržitelného rozvoje. Existují nové přístupy, tzv. green management, destination management a ekologický turismus, které mohou zmírnit nebo eliminovat negativní dopady cestovního ruchu. Ve světě i u nás se již vyskytují tzv. ekologické hotely. V diplomové práci jsem popsala současnou situaci v Česku v nově vznikající oblasti zeleného podnikání, která přináší možnosti pro nový pohled na cestovní ruch. Zjišťovala jsem kritéria EU, která musí pro získání značky hotely splnit. Zvolila jsem hotel, který se nejvíce blíží ideálu ekologického hotelu. Vybraný ekohotel Veronica jsem zkoumala pomocí případové studie. Zajímala mě především motivace pro ekologickou značku, průběh a těžkosti při získávání této značky. Eco-grandmother, advise! Eco-counselling in the Czech republic

First part of the thesis presents foundations and purpouse of eco-counselling as a social institution in Czechoslovakia, the Czech republic and also in general. Data set consisting of queries sent to czech eco-counsellors throughout one year is described in the empirical part. It also presents in detail methods and execution of classification of more than 9 000 queries. Resulting structure is then analyzed thorou- ghly from different points of view. This synthetic and analytic process gives facts about clients' regions of interest in landscape, nature and environment protection and also everyday life. Analysis also reveals clients' true motivation and subjective or objective urge. Thus it can serve eco-counselling offices as a source material for a mid-term conception to increase its competence in environmental education. It can also be used for political and strategic decision making concerning eco-counselling in the Czech republic. Results show that majority of clients use eco-counsellor's service for ecological and environmental reasons, thus eco-counselling serves as an effective preventive en- vironmental policy instrument. Usage of econarotology in practise

In the eighties of the twentieth century society returns to narrative, which is known as "narrative turn". In connection to that started to develop the so-called interdisciplinary narratology in the nineties, from which as a subdiscipline is based a new field econaratology. The theoretical part of the thesis shows where the field has its roots in the context of literary theory of narrative and environmental education. Econaratology is a field that examines the potential of stories for the development and realization of environmental education's topics. It uses stories through which it develops environmental sensitivity, meets the objectives of environmental education and develops inner motivation of students to take care of the nature. The practical part of the thesis introduces the specific use of econaratology in practice. In a qualitative study were used semistructured interviews with the persons of selected environmental education centers and selected forest pedagogues. The aim of the research was to understand the question of how the selected centers do work with the narrative method. Greenmarketing: negotiating of the content of the brand "The Flower" on the websites of Czech ekohotels

The tourism is remarkable phenomenon of today's life. There is a big impact to the GDP in the touristic attractive countries. But on the other hand it causes pollution of the environment. In the area of hospitality we can see huge waste of energy and materials. Based on this, we can see the possible future heading to the ideas of sustainable development with the activities of f.e. Green management, destination management, ecological tourism. Hotels can achieve the label of EU - "The Flower". Maybe those new approaches can eliminate the negative impact of the tourism. In the diploma thesis I described how the Czech hotels labelled with "The Flower" use the discourse joined with the label on its web pages.

Eco-Counselling of Industrial Distressed Area

The subject of my Diploma work on the theme "Eco - Counselling of industrial, distressed area" is the analyse of selected Eco - Counselling places located in the Czech Republic and creation of general models of those. The results of this analyze are followed in the next part of this work. Subsequently the teoretical model of Eco - Counselling for the region of Chomutov is proposed. For that purpose, the study of the conditions and characteristics of this locality is utilized. As for this work, there are following investigative questions: 1) Which models of Eco - Counselling provided in Czech Republic are free of charge? 2) Which model of Eco - Counselling place corresponds with the demand of Chomutov region? (concerning the other characteristics of the region). The essential method for this work is Case Studies, which draw from the methods of anylysis of the Annual Reports. The benefit of this work is the typology of Eco - Counselling practice in the Czech Republic and subsequently it stresses and explains the relation with the particular region (certain types correspond with certain environment). As well the work proposes dynamic model of Eco - Counselling for the Chomutov region.

Studie podrobně analyzuje stávající nabídku, ale i poptávku pro poskytování enviromentálního vzdělávání se zaměřením na mimoškolskou oblast a na posouzení infrastruktury environmentálních center z hlediska jejiho současného složení, trendů rozvoje a potřebnosti. Zkoumanou skupinou byla střediska a insituce provádějící EVVO v mimoškolní oblasti a okrajově též instituce tuto činnost plánující a mající pro ni potenciál. Práce se zabýva evaulací a efektivitou programů, které střediska připravují. V příloze je uveden seznam jednotlivých ORP dle IDC EVVO
