Measurement and Evaluation of Business Performance

The bachelor’s thesis deals with measurement and evaluation of the financial efficiency TEDOM a.s. company in 2010-2014. The company is engaged in production of cogeneration units. This thesis is consists of three parts. The first part explains the theoretical information processing methods of financial analysis. The second part is devoted to the analytical part, which is described in more detail enterprise and financial analysis of the current state of society. At the end of this section is a summary of all the results carried out on the basis of which the third part of the proposed appropriate measures to improve the financial performance of the company.

Classification of road network from airborne laser scanning data and from remote sensing images with high resolution

Classification of road network from airborne laser scanning data and from remote sensing images with high resolution Abstract Object classification of land cover is currently one of the methods of remote Earth exploration. Road network classification only is unique because it is covered with anthropogenic material and has different characteristics than other elements of the landscape. This work deals with the possibility of using a combination of data from airborne laser scanning and high resolution optical data for detection of the road network in the specific area. The premise is that the use of two different types of data could provide better results, because airborne laser scanning data provide very precise information about the position and height of the point, while satellite data of very high resolution represent the real landscape. Searching for suitable features and classification rules for unambiguous determination of the road network is one of the objectives of the work. Segmentation parameters will also be important for object classification. Another objective is to verify the transferability of classification schemes into the other scene. Possibilities of interpolating lakes basins of various genetic types

The goal of this work is to try to find the most suitable interpolation method for particular types of lake basins. The chosen lakes for this objective are Prášilské, Laka, Čimice and Labiště pod Opočínkem. The main ambition of this work is to use software counting of interpolation methods instead of counting by hand. As much as possible interpolation methods will be used to reach the most accurate outcome and to set the most feasible method for each lake. The same interpolation methods will be used for each bathymetric profile, but one suitable method is not supposed to be found for all the types of lake basins.

Aplication of franchising in chosen company

This thesis deals about franchising and its aplication in practice. The objective of this thesis is evaluation of weak and strong points of franchising system of OREA HOTELS. The first part deals about definitions, advantages and disadvantages of franchising and expansion of franchising in the world. The practical part deals about advantages and requirements of franchising system of chosen company. Recommendations that would lead to improvement of those weak point are part of this thesis too.

Finanční rámec EU a ČR

Analýza finanční perspektivy Evropské unie. V první části je popis, analýza a posouzení finanční perspektivy z hlediska významu pro jednotlivé politiky EU, je zde popsána skladba výdajové a příjmové stránky, finanční nástroje a jejich změna v čase. V další části je na finanční perspektivu pohlíženo z hlediskaa historického vývoje, detailněji je zanalyzována současná finanční perspektiva 2007-2013. Třetí část je věnována implementaci současné finanční perspektivy do praxe. Cílem je zanalyzovat objem a strukturu finančních prostředků poskytnutých Evropskou unií České republice.
