Application of invertible elements in a zero-knowledge proof

This work is focused on the description of one verifiable encryption scheme, specifically a zero-knowledge proof of knowledge protocol. Verifiable encryption allows us to prove properties of data without revealing its content. The main goal of the presented method is verification of knowledge of a secret key. This method can be used for group signa- tures, multiple steps secret sharing, key escrow protocols, and many others cryptographic protocols. It is based on the hardness of the Ring-LWE problem and problems of finding solutions to linear relations over some ring. It uses the principle of rejection sampling. The method is build on two closely described cryptographic protocols, Ring-LWE and Fiat-Shamir with aborts. It uses the construction of polynomial rings R = Z[x]/(xn + 1) a Rq = Zq[x]/(xn + 1). 1

The Pivon's monastery and its children in time

The aim of my diploma thesis is to introduce the development of Pivoň monastery in the historical background. The main part is divided in following thematical order. 1. The origins of monastery, which are still, due to non existing foundation charter, uncertain. 2. The Pivoň monastery in the history until present time. 3. The relationships between regulars and liege people, which are being explained on the basis of charters and documents from this period. 4. Hermits, saints and patrons of monastery. 5. The document from the year 1740 The Anniversary Festivities of Contending and Exultant Church in the Year of Jubilee.

The use of information resources in medical biochemistry

Práce pojednává téma informačních potřeb, jejich výzkumu a uspokojování. V první části se zabývá teoreticky informačními potřebami a požadavky a informačními šumy a bariérami a rozebírá existující modely uživatelského chování. Popisuje také metodiku provádění výzkumů uživatelských potřeb. Dále nastiňuje typologii uživatelů informací v medicínské biochemii a naznačuje pro jednotlivé skupiny uživatelů vhodné informační zdroje (jejich typ a optimální dostupnost). -- Druhá, empirická část shrnuje konkrétní provedený výzkum uživatelských potřeb, a to v časové komparaci s odstupem čtyř let. Představuje pracoviště, na nichž byl proveden (Endokrinologický ústav, Ústav biochemie a experimentální onkologie 1.LF UK, Fyziologický ústav AV ČR) a jejich informační zázemí, dále popisuje konstrukci dotazníku a shrnuje výstupy provedeného šetření ve formě umožňující další ověřování, a to jak formou deskriptivní, tak i narativní. Provedena je také SWOT analýza informačního zázemí jednotlivých institucí. Součástí empirické části práce je i příkladová bibliometrická rešerše, umožňující profilaci odborného fondu. -- K nejvýznamnějším zjištěním práce patří potvrzení sílícího zájmu uživatelů o elektronické informační zdroje (především o ty, které zpřístupňují plné texty dokumentů), což má vliv i na jejich informační chování jako...

Corruption and bribery from the point of view of criminal law

The rigorous thesis is focused on the phenomenon of corruption, which is one of the most serious problems of today's society. Given that the issue of corruption is quite broad, the aim of the work is not to cover all its aspects and not to solve the problem of corruption as such, as these goals would be more than ambitious. On the other hand, the work aims to clarify corruption from the perspective of criminal law and to cover at least some of its basic aspects. The work is divided into a total of five chapters. The first chapter deals with corruption in general and primarily seeks to define the concept of corruption as such and demonstrate the diversity of forms of corruption activities, as well as their prevalence. The second chapter then deals with a brief historical excursion, which aims to introduce corruption in previous criminal law, thus providing a comparison with the current legislation. The following third chapter focuses on the current criminal law regulation of corruption offenses. Attention is focused mainly on bribery offenses, which form the core of the criminal law of corruption. However, it also briefly deals with some other selected corruption offenses. Active repentance in criminal law

The thesis is focused on the issue of active repentance in criminal law. The aim of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive view of the institute of active repentance and its importance in the area of extinction of criminal liability, and to verify whether this underused institute in criminal law has its merits. In addition, the thesis tries to draw attention to some shortcomings and problems that this area of criminal law is facing, especially considering relevant court case law. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter deals with the extinction of criminal liability in general, focusing on all reasons causing the extinction of criminal liability of the offender. An essential part of the first chapter is also a brief historical excursion, which allows comparison with previously effective legislation. The second chapter covers active repentance itself and describes the conditions of application of active repentance not only in relation to adult offenders, but also in relation to juvenile offenders and legal entities, where the active repentance shows some differences. The Bachelor thesis made at a theme The supply of the BILLA store puts an aim at a finding of a method to eliminate superfluous supplies in the chosen store. The superfluous supply and a subsequent ending of guarantees origins during of a purchase and a supplying yet by a wrong organization of storage items and by a bad attitude of employees to storage items in the chosen store. The aim of this thesis is an analysis of factors which cause the superfluous supply and the ending of guarantees, and then to suggest moves which would lead to exacter orders of supplies and more effective organization of supplies in a storehouse.
