Social Return on Investment

This Batchelor thesis attends to analyse possibilities of using Social Return on Investment (SROI) analysis in the Czech Republic. Social Return on Investment describes all impacts of the organisation, including social and environmental impacts. This analysis is frequently used especially in the countries, where there is an established concept of social economy, for example in the United Kingdom, however, this approach can be beneficial even in the Czech Republic. This essay examines the current situation in the Czech Republic, European Union and in the United Kingdom and critically evaluate the possibility of including the social economical approach into the Czech public procurement. In the practical part of this thesis the process of the analysis is described using example analysis, made for this purpose. Experience from the example analysis are used for the evaluation of benefits and limitations of SROI analysis. Subsidiarity in EU law English Summary / Abstract The upcoming 30th anniversary of the Maastricht treaty is an opportunity to celebrate but also to critically evaluate the overall success of this significant political step towards deeper European integration. The Maastricht treaty incorporated the Principle of Subsidiarity as a general principle of law into the EU legal system. The Principle of Subsidiarity was intended as a safeguard against a creeping centralization and federalization of the alliance and a means of regulating the exercise of the Union's non-exclusive powers. Thirty years of experience is a good time to evaluate the success and fulfillment of that mission. This is all the more pertinent in 2021 as the EU finds itself on the threshold of a new public debate about the future of Europe. The Principle of Subsidiarity underwent several textual changes on the way to being anchored in the Treaties. Despite these changes the case law of the ECJ has remained for unclear reasons underdeveloped in comparison with other issues and areas of judicial review. The original emphasis placed on a judicial review of the fulfillment of substantial conditions and ex-post control of the principle has lately shifted to the ex-ante procedural one. Unfortunately, even this change did not bring the expected results....

The development of outsourcing in the Czech Republic

Outsourcing is topical nowadays. In the age of rapid progress of IS/ICT technologies, when managing and development is quite costly for enterprises, outsourcing is the best decision for majority of companies. By delegating the responsibility for IS/ICT to an external firm, the enterprises are able now to focus entirely on its main business activity, while processes, service and sources, which are not profitable for companies are administered by an external provider. The goal is, effective prosecution of IT service, which is going to economically affect, cost reduction. These funds can be later on used by the companies for their main business activities. An information technology has become everyday part of our lives and many of us cannot even imagine life without it. These technologies make our lives easier in many ways, such as time management or possibly the most important thing, communication. Of course, adoption of these technologies is also reflected in the business layer. Today, you probably cannot imagine a successful company without a quality presentation on the web. Most of these stores use an Internet sales, while services are available today that companies must use either want to or not, namely a data box. Using these services regulated by law and determines that the subjects are compulsory. Finally, an electronic invoicing, which is an indisputable advantage of business and is now frequently discussed topic.
Project Conversion of SKK to EUR in ERP SAP

This diploma work is concerned about of euro conversion and its impact on information system ERP SAP in large multinational company. Theoretical part is focused on general scenarios of euro adoption and progress of adoption of euro in Slovakia. Next chapter is describing methods of project management, definitions, subjects and stakeholders, organizational structures and phases of the project. Theoretical parts ends with description of ERP functionality, basic functional modules and general information about ERP SAP. Second, practical part is dedicated to project of conversion of euro in ERP SAP itself. Practical part begins with describing of company, organizational structure and IS architecture. Next chapters are focused on analysis of particular subprojects defined on scope of general euro conversion project, their schedule and reasoning of the sequence of each subproject.
