Failure of Belarussion Transition: Delegative Democracy?

Thesis "Failure of Belarussian Transition: Delegative Democracy?" consists of two main parts. The first part is focused on process of transition in Belarus. As a theoretical framework a theory from Samuel Huntington was used. His theory proposes whole typology of transitions to democracy. The analysis of transition in Belarus focuses on strength and motives of constituent actors. The aim of the second part is then a contemporary regime and an attempt to analyse the logic of the regime. Theory of hybrid regimes was used as a theoretical framework, and was mostly focused on theory of Delegative Democracy form Guillermo O'Donnell. An Application of Political Theories on the Transformation of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia after 1989

The Bachelor thesis focuses on the development of the transmission power of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia to Civic Forum within the Czechoslovak state from the revolutionary events of November 1989 to the end of the year. It also seeks to typologies characteristic of social science authors of the transitologist processes and applies them to the case of Czechoslovak transition from non - democracy to consolidated democratic system by the first free elections in 1990. Moreover the emphasis is placed on the analysis of transformed the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia, internal respectively external transformation of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia in the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia, or the theory of anti-system approach used to apply and analyze the example of the Czech Communist Party.
Ukrainian Presidential Election 2004, 2010 and Electoral Geography

This work aims to describe tendencies in development of Ukraine's electoral geography and characterize Ukrainian voters' behaviour during 2004-2010, with focus on presidential elections 2010. Electorate in Ukraine is regionally divided and this division proved its stability in time, which can be observed in Ukrainian elections since gaining independence. Orange revolution only deepened the division and made regionalism more evident. Presidential elections 2010, first presidential elections after Orange revolution, followed the structure of divided country between west and east and "their" candidates as well. Support of "Orange camp" is decreasing, Viktor Yanukovych, looser from 2004 and antihero came back. The paper provides the reader with explanation of these processes and factors that lead to Mr. Yanukovych's victory. Influence of the elections and electoral systems on dissolution of the Socialist federal republic of Yugoslavia

The author is concerned with the influence of elections and electoral systems on dissolution of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia at example of Slovenia and Croatia in his contribution from the field of political science. He analyses the role of elections and electroral systems in the republic parliaments of Slovenia and Croatia on the basis of methodological procedures and theoretical concepts. It is done primarily by the transformation of allocation of political power before and after the elections and also by the consequences of the elections. Together with it the reader is briefed by the basic facts about dissolution of Yugoslavia and emergence of selected successor countries. The infuence of elections at the level of republics consisted in the legitimization of transformation of allocation of political power toward to the republics and in the legitimization of democratic way above all. The influence of electoral systems consisted in proportion of the results above all. The elections at the level of republics simplified the decentralization of Yugoslavia leading to its dissolution. Elections and electoral systems was significant part of the dissolution of Yugoslavia and the independence of its parts.
