The auxiliary choice in the dialects of Corropoli and Nereto
Hončová, Markéta ; Štichauer, Pavel (advisor) ; Hamplová, Sylva (referee) ; Klímová, Eva (referee)
This paper analyses the issue of auxiliary choice in middle Italian dialects spoken in areas of Corropoli and Nereto (TE). The study deriving from data elicited through series of questionnaires consists of two main parts. The first part provides primarily description of phonetic and morphosyntactic plan of both dialects. Based on syntactic and lexical semantic theories (BURZIO, LEONE, VINCENT, CENTINEO, SORACE, BENTLEY - EYTHÓRSSON and others), the second part forms a platform for comparison of auxiliary choice in Italian language with a system, which does not reflect split intransitivity, but depends on grammatical person and tense, valid in both dialects.

Klímová, Eva ; Šmejkal, Václav (advisor) ; Navrátil, Petr (referee)
Non - compete clauses in the competition law of the European union and selected member states This diploma thesis is focused on the use and regulation of non-compete clauses in the competition law of the European Union, the Czech Republic and Great Britain. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the applicable regulation and decision-making practice of the relevant authorities concerning the non-compete clauses in the selected jurisdictions, draw a comparison between them and, at the end of each chapter, make an evaluation to what extent does the relevant practice differ on the level of European law, the law of the Czech Republic or Great Britain. The thesis is mainly dedicated to the use of non-compete clauses in lease and acquisition agreements. The first chapter is focused on the theoretical introduction to the matter, containing a short summary of the fundamental regulation and soft law of the competition authorities. The second chapter is centred around the analysis of decisions concerning the non-compete clauses in lease agreements. The individual decisions are examined and compared at the end of the second chapter. The comparison is made by using the division of the anti-competitive agreements to the categories of "object-type agreements" and "effect-type agreements". The third chapter is concentrates...
Romance Suppletion: Central and Peripheral Phenomena in the Diachrony of Verbal Paradigms
Ripamonti, Fabio ; Štichauer, Pavel (advisor) ; Radimský, Jan (referee) ; Klímová, Eva (referee)
(in English): In the present work, the aim is to discuss the occurrence of verbal suppletion in Romance languages within a representative, theoretical and practical framework that may be reflected in the tradition of language studies and by the most reliable theories at the beginning of the 21st century. In an attempt to prove through this issue how aspects of language system that might at first seem arbitrary are not really as such, but in fact need a proper perspective in order to be able to deal with them systematically. In the first part, the theoretical framework of the thesis is presented, starting with varying aspects of European and American structuralism, reaching to the current ongoing debate concerning issues related to "pure morphology" - the main reference model at present for a comprehensive analysis of the topic. In the second part, the discussion is more specifically oriented to verbal suppletion and treatments reserved by different linguistic perspectives, not always available to be considered as a topic worthy of attention because of its extreme unpredictability and irregularity. The third part dedicates a consistent space to the analysis of the morphomes that can be found in Romance languages (U/L-pattern, N-pattern, PYTA roots, blended morphomes) and to their evolution in a...
