The aim of this thesis on the topic Psychological and social aspects of unemployment, is to try to find out whether it is possible to look at the issue of unemployment from the viewpoint of individuals who have this experience positively and find on this unfavorable situation beneficial aspects, although unemployment is seen mostly as a very negative experience. Meeting this objective will be achieved through questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews. In case of need the measures to improve the living situations applicable to future needs of the unemployed will be proposed. This survey will be preceded by a literature review, where the unemployment will be characterized from the point of causes and impacts, which has on society and on individuals, based on professional literature

This diploma thesis is aimed at the topic of unemployment, mainly at its psychological and social impacts. In the theoretical part basic terms are defined which are closely related to unemployment. These are primarily: the definition of unemployment, the development and the structure of unemployment, social and psychological consequences of unemployment, reference to employment policy and the description of the European Social Fund programmes. The practical part of my thesis includes the questionnaire survey among the unemployed registered at the Labour Office Znojmo. Moreover, it presents structured interviews with the employees of the Znojmo Penitentiary, Probation and Mediation service Znojmo and The Znojmo Shelter who are in contact with job seekers affected by any of the social impacts of unemployment.

Focus of this bachelor work is the issue of the unemployment, specifically the psychological and social aspects which are related to unemployment. Theory part describes the concept of unemployment, labour market, and deals with the state employment policy. It also describes the psychological and health effects of unemployment on people. Practise part analyses impacts of unemployment on selected respondents. To detect these issues was used a questionnaire survey, which was addressed to selected clients of employment agency Prague 5.

The unemployment represents one of the main problems in the society. On the other hand it is inseparable from the market economy. This Bachelor thesis explains the basic terms from the unemployment sphere, clarifies the relations among constituent elements and brings the comprehensive view of this topic through a prism of economy, sociology and psychology. The practical part is an element of this thesis. It is based on the questionnaires. It focuses on the respondent structure, i.e. the age, education, length of the unemployment, and provides the answers to questions concerning their view of the unemployment and changes that the unemployment brings. The end of this bachelor thesis summarises the answers and provides the questionnaires résumé.
Burnout syndrome

The theme of the diploma thesis is Burnout syndrome. This thesis deals especially with burnout syndrome and with problems that are related to it. The aim of this work is to determine in which of the two selected groups of workers is the highest incidence of this syndrome, or more precisely its symptoms. Research is conducted on employees where their main job is based on frequent communication with people and on people who are working at assisting profession. The theoretical part is focused on basic terms concerning the issue of burnout syndrome. In the introductory part, there are described certain definitions of burnout, its most common symptoms, risk professions and risk factors. Additionally, there are also described other negative mental states, the development of burnout syndrome, there is characterization of the research methods of burnout and in the end is explained in more detail the prevention and therapy of burnout. The analytical part is based on the survey, which was conducted through an internet questionnaire portal to random workers. Results are processed and interpreted in the end of this work. Another important part is the chapter Discussion and recommendations, which summarizes and connects acquired results and detected data and based on that it determines specific recommendations.
Human behaviour in crisis situations

The thesis, entitled "Human behaviour in crisis situations", is focused on the issue of floods as a specific emergency situation. The theoretical part analyses the emergency situation itself, its initiators and development. Subsequently, it describes crisis interventions and fundamental strategies, which help to successfully overcome the crisis. Furthermore, the first part deals with stress, its impact on our health, stress responses and possible strategies how to control it. Consequently, it describes forms of social support, which are important for people affected by the emergency situation. The partial conclusion aims to theoretically summarize the issue of floods. The practical part is based on a quantitative research method, specifically questionnaire survey, which was targeted on people, who have experienced floods, and thus help to characterize their behavior. The second partial conclusion summarizes the questionnaire responses and the hypotheses will be either verified or falsified at the end.
Human behaviour in a crisis situation

This baccalaureate work deals with human behaviour in crisis situations. The intention of this work is to recognize circumstances, background, causes and process of home violence as a specific crisis situation. In the theoretical part first of all there are defined terms as crisis, stress, home violence and the other terms related with given matters. The work deals with the explanation of the concept of the crisis from the point of view of its types, the cause of the crisis, its determinants, and the work does not miss the crisis process. The next bigger chapter concentrates on the concept of stress. Above all it describes how the stress is explained and which way the stress situation can influence the person. The focus of the work lies in the home violence definition. It concentrates on the explanation of the concept and on the description of typology of violence, its forms, cycle, causes and consequences of violence. Except mentioned matters there are also analyzed characteristics of violent persons from the point of view of men and women. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with the crisis intervention and gives the survey of possible ways of help in case of threat and health hazard due to home violence. The practical part of the work pays attention to the analysis of carried interviews which characterize and support the described problems with the viewpoint of home violence victims.
Human behaviour in crisis situation

The bachelor thesis deals with the human behaviour in crisis situations. In the thesis, a concrete crisis situation was chosen to show how it influences human psyche. This situation is represented by a particular period during which children or juveniles leave their homes and at the same time entry into their own independent life of adults. Furthermore, the leaving their parents is not for children or juveniles as traumatic as the leaving residential care and, therefore, the bachelor thesis mainly focuses on individuals, leaving children's home or other forms of alternative parental care. The thesis is divided into two main parts, the theoretical and the practical ones. The theoretical part explains and gives definitions of particular terms, which are connected with the topic. The system of the residential care in the Czech Republic is divided into categories and described, moreover organizations, helping individuals after their gaining of independence, are mentioned too. The last section of the theoretical part describes the basic problems associated with living in the residential care and its leaving. The practical part deals with comparison of individuals from the residential care and individuals from the common families, their entry into adult life is described on the basis of the interviews with the individuals. The both groups also enumerate and characterize possible difficulties or disadvantages of alternative parental care.

This thesis deals with unemployment, in particular the consequences that come with it, in particular long-term unemployment brings. The rate of nezaměstannosti is a very important macroeconomic indicator. Here is a comprehensive overview of the development of unem-ployment, drawn up in the Czech Republic, but for comparison here is mentioned the de-velopment of unemployment in the countries of the European Union and the eurozone and is mentioned here and the unemployment rate in the United States and Japan. Conclusion of the work is concentrated on unemployment in the Jičín district, on jobs in the district and to the feelings of the unemployed
Alternative approaches to health promotion

The economic concept of health is defined as an ability to fully utilize human capital. The health promotion shall procure healthy lifestyle among the population. It also appears as the most efficient way to prevent diseases, in particular the non-communicable diseases (NCD). Economic analysis of human behavior offers the explanation of the rational choices as well as the decisions with bounded rationality affecting people's' health conditions. The Czech population health development analysis shows tendencies to careless approach in this area, that is illustrated by the increase incidence of sick leaves caused by NCD in higher age categories. Application of the health promotion in Czech Republic may be significantly improved by the outcomes of economic analysis of human behavior in these regards. Incidental issues are to be analyzed by the methods of logical deduction logical deduction, comparative analysis and empirical results of the statistical survey. Synthesis of the findings and conclusions of the analysis is the starting point for the modeling of health strategies, policies and programs promoting health in the Czech Republic. The main hypothesis is supported by the outcomes of this analysis with regards to the applicability of the economic analysis of human behavior on the health promotion and its positive macroeconomical impact on the current medical system sustainability. The primary contribution of the thesis consist in formulation of specific outcomes of the economic analysis of human behavior for the health promotion concept development. A secondary benefit is the proposal to measure personal productive incapacity in time by the indicator of work incapacity. In this context, the risk of non-infectious diseases impact deepening in older age categories of workers in Czech Republic is emphasized
