Stability analysis of metal stiffeners under compressive load using finite elements methods
Hála, Aleš ; Horák, Marek (referee) ; Katrňák, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor`s thesis deals with an analysis of metal stiffener under compressive load. The first part of the thesis includes a research of analytic methods. The other part of the thesis deals with a numerical solution including creating of suitable model and using nonlinear finite elements methods solutions of MSC Patran/Nastran software package. In the conclusion of the thesis, all theoretical data and numerical results were compared with experimental test.
Installation of floats for the M-4Irbis airplane
Heczko, Nikodem ; Katrňák, Tomáš (referee) ; Palička, Radek (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the design of installation of floats for the M-4 Irbis airplane and it’s modification in aim to provide water level landing. Part of this thesis is selection of geometry of floats, weight analysis of the modified version and stress analysis of structural elements. The aim was to perform modification on a float plane which will have a minimal impact on the airframe and to meet the requirements of Certification Specification ASTM F2245 and CS-VLA. In conclusion, the hydrodynamic and aerodynamic characteristics including flight performance is determined. Final part is devoted to the design of the rudder for directional control of the floats.
Optimal modelling of rivet joints using finite element method
Design of a landing gear of an airplane competition kit
Gebrlín, Jakub ; Katrňák, Tomáš (referee) ; Bartoněk, Jaroslav (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to design a landing gear for a competition model of aircraft. The introductory part of this work is focused mainly on study about landing gears and their comparison in terms of advantages and disadvantages for the new competition model both in terms of arrangement and in terms of sliding or fixed chassis. In the second, the practical part the work is focused on computation of load, the strength calculation and the design of chassis.
Design of VUT200 TwinCobra landing gear
Novák, Josef ; Horák, Marek (referee) ; Katrňák, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of following master thesis is to design variety of configuration and retraction options of VUT200 TwinCobra landing gear. For each option are a wheel base and a gauge set up by possibility of main landing gear retraction. Next, CS 23 demands and stress analysis are followed. There is a view of twin engine aircraft landing gear disclosed as well.
Design installation of motors ROTAX for aircraft SKYLEADER 400
Rakušan, Miroslav ; Katrňák, Tomáš (referee) ; Mališ, Michal (advisor)
The bacheloir thesis is focused to calculation forces in engine mount, design and construction of engine mount for engines Rotax 912iS and 914UL, which will be instalated to ultralight plane Skyleader 400. In the first part is short search about planes, which use the engines. Then the engine mount is calculate according to rule UL2-I.part. After the MKP analysis is calculation of screws, which hold the engine mount onto the firewall. In the end of the thesis is installation both of engines in the nose of the plane and engine mount test draft according to rule UL2-I.part.
Analysis of a Sandwich panel under compressive loading
Kopylov, Gleb ; Katrňák, Tomáš (referee) ; Mališ, Michal (advisor)
Hlavným cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce bolo navrhnúť vhodnú simulačnú metódu pre rovinnú šmykovú skúšku. Boli popísané rôzne typy porúch kompozitových panelov a rôzne prístupy k šmykovým skúškam.
Front landing gear design of PS-28 Cruiser aircraft
Marcinko, Peter ; Šplíchal, Jan (referee) ; Katrňák, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of the front landing gear with steering nose leg and hydropneumatic shock absorber, designed for aircraft PS - 28 Cruiser. In the thesis there was created design of basic types of front landing gear and the best option was selected. The work is further elaborated design of hydropneumatic shock absorber and comparise with the measured load. At the end of the work it was created the structural design of the front landing gear.
