Cooperation in Education with a View to Specifics in the First Grade of Primary School

The central topic of the dissertation is cooperation with particular attention to special characteristics of the 1 st form at ZŠ (the basic school) - In the theoretical part I pursue terms, changes in the systém of school education, strategies of teaching with preference for group work and cooperation, to which the most of my dissertation is devoted. The main aim of the practical part of the dissertation is development of cooperative and social skills in the 1 st form ZŠ pupils. The practical part is represented as an action research, in which I describe and analyse my longterm procedure leading to the application of cooperative strategies in the 1st form ZS, the problems connected with it and the state and development of my pupils cooperative and social skills. The Entry of Children to School with a View to Readiness in the Context of Internal Reform

The dissertation deals with the problem of school readiness and school environment adaptation in the context of the primary education internal reform. Theoretical part describes formation of key competences, primary education transformation and education strategy concerning specifics of the work with the child entering primary school. It also describes the innovative approaches in solution to school readiness and school adaptation environment. Practical research analyses in three case studies school competences in the individualization and internal differentiation's point of view. The dissertation "Project Method in the Step by Step Programme" deals with the conception of teaching in the context of European trend of upbringing and education. It explains the principles and strategies of the Step by Step programme. It inquires into the project method and it's forms in abovementioned programme in primary education. It describes how to improve pedagogical effect of a teacher by an action research. It analyses the procedure of creation of conditions for effective application of the project method in teaching. It works with some problems in connection with implementation of this method into teaching. It compares various forms of projects in programme Step by Step. It brings a description of several realized projects. Children with Special Educational Needs and their Involvement in Group Work

V naší společnosti je celkem samozřejmé, že rodiče mají zájem o vývoj svých dětí a vedou je tak, aby se v dospělosti dokázaly vyrovnat s úkoly a nástrahami, které před ně život postaví. Rovněž je pokládáno za samozřejmé, že dětem, které kvůli nějakému tělesnému postižení (nevidomost, obrna, mentální retardace apod.) nemohou dosáhnout stejné úrovně jako jejich vrstevníci, projevujeme nejen soucit, ale poskytujeme jim konkrétní pomoc, například metodami kompenzace, reedukace, rehabilitace či reparace. Naproti tomu dítě, u kterého jsou diagnostikovány Jen" poruchy učení či chování, nevzbuzuje u nezasvěcených většinou zvláštní pozornost. Takové dítě vypadá jako každé jiné, může si normálně hrát s ostatními dětmi a nemá zvláštní potíže s mluveným projevem, zrakem či sluchem. U takového dítěte nebývají předpokládána žádná oslabení či znevýhodnění. Jedná se o skryté postižení. Z vlastní zkušenosti vím, jaké postoje k poruchám učení a chování zaujímá laická veřejnost (a bohužel i někteří pedagogové). Pro některé z těchto lidí jsou děti se skrytým postižením zdravé a celý problém v jejich očích spočívá vtom, že dětem je buď poskytována nedostačující, výuka, nebo jim chybí správná výchova. The Pedagogy of C. Freinet with an Aim towards Change in a Czech School

This thesis treats of Célestin Freineťs pedagogy and of his "Free Writing" technique. The theoretical part describes the circumstance of Freineťs pedagogy's emergence in its historical context, reformation movements in former Czechoslovakia, and current transformation process in our school system. Upon the aforementioned theoretical basis, this thesis shows how the Free Writing technique could possibly evolve if introduced into Czech elementary schools. The practical part builds upon Freineťs experience with integration of the Free Writing technique into current schools. Children in a Multi-Cultural Environment in Primary School - Selected Aspects of Education of Foreign Children in Czech Primary Schools

Problematika vzdělávání dětí-cizinců1 v základních školách je pro české školství relativně novým tématem. Území, které dnes tvoří Českou republiku, bylo totiž i přes svou polohu ve středu Evropy po dlouhou dobu ve srovnání sjiným i zeměmi národnostně i rasově relativně homogenní. Bylo to dáno specifickým historickým vývojem zejména po druhé světové válce. Zatímco v roce 1930 se k české národnosti hlásilo na území České republiky jen 70% obyvatel, v roce 1950 již celých 95 /o (Čaněk, 2003). Postupně po sobě následující Holocaust, odsun sudetských Nemcu, nasledne uzavření hranic v totalitním režimu a konečně rozpad Československa zemi národnostně homogenizoval. Issues Arising from Instruction about Tolerance in Primary Schools

Ve své diplomové práci jsem se snažila shromáždit poznatky a názory na toleranci u dětí mladšího školního věku. Kamarádský vztah založený na vzájemném respektu patří v dnešní době mezi nej důležitější cíle výchovy a vzdělávání. Takové schopnosti a dovednosti se dítě učí především v rodině. Když však rodina toto nezvládá dokonale, měla by její úlohu převzít škola. To platí zvláště nyní, kdy si leckteří rodiče neumějí poradit se svými dětmi a očekávají řešení od učitelů. Snažila jsem se vystihnout názory pedagogů na tuto problematiku, která se netýkala pouze tolerance, ale také výchovných prostředků, které učitelé ve své práci používají a na celoživotní vzdělávání pedagogů. Z názorů pedagogů vyplývá, že souhlasí s celoživotním vzděláváním. Podle mne nejlépe vědí, jak mají na danou otázku odpovědět. Sama u nás na škole vidím, kolik učitelů používá klasickou výukovou metodu monologu, nové metody a výchovné prostředky nechtějí používat neboje neznají. Často jako důvod uvádějí nedostatek času pro učivo nebo nekázeň žáků.
