Level of knowledge about cardiac arrest in patients after cardiopulmonary resuscitation and their relatives in comparison to general population.
Křečková, Markéta ; Bělohlávek, Jan (advisor) ; Bourková, Kateřina (referee)
Providing emergency basic life support in life threatening situations is a duty of everyone. Adequate knowledge of all recommended procedures is a prerequisite for succesful management of a critical situation including identification of an emergency, activation of rescue system and provision of first help. Cardiac arrest is a significant socioeconomic burden. Survival of cardiac arrest victims depends on the underlying disease and lenght of cardiac arrest. Early CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) is a most important factor of potential survival. However, effectivity of CPR for longterm survival reaches only around 10%. Therefore, ongoing education of general population in all techniques of CPR is justified and necessary. Just the initiation of CPRitself increases the chances for survival 2-3 fold. But, unfortunately, this emergency help is not provided always. This work is focused on evaluation of the quality of informations on recommended procedures and activities during acute setting and provision of lay person basic life support. In a theoretical introduction I describe the history of CPR and education of general population. Empirical part provides quantitative research based on a questionnaire with 100 respondents. Respondents are divided into two groups, persons who survived cardiac arrest...

The description of possible causes of the unavailability of social services for persons with ASD and associated challenging behavior is at the core of the empirical part. Data gathering and analysis are based on methods of Grounded theory. The semi-structured interviews with representatives of regions and with the social service providers are used as data sources. Conclusions of the thesis include, in particular, extreme cost and long-term staff shortages, weak legislative support, and fragmented network services planning at the county level. The Preventive Effects of Supervision on the Burnout Syndrome
Křečková, Markéta ; Čihánková, Ivana (advisor) ; Kuchař, Radomír (referee)
My Bachelor`s thesis "The Preventive Effects of Supervision on the Burnout Syndrome" discusses the issue of the burnout syndrome experienced by social workers and the preventive effect of supervision. The study explores the circumstances of the settings of supervising process which enable using the supervision as a practical tool for individuals and teams. The treatise consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. The first one focuses on processing and classifying available information in terms of supervision and burnout syndrome with regard to social services as well as on presenting the newest discoveries suggesting a possible correlation between the burnout syndrome and supervision. Questionnaires filled in by social workers provide a source of information for the second part where the practical aspects and effectiveness of supervision and its preventive effect on the burnout syndrome are discussed and the conclusions from the first part are applied in an attempt to confirm or to rule out certain hypotheses mentioned in the following text. This Bachelor`s thesis however does not exhaust the topic completely. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
