Evaluation of the Financial Situation in the Firm and Proposals to its Improvement
Ježek, Ondřej ; Sadílek, Jan (referee) ; Solař, Jan (advisor)
My Bachelor thesis focuses on a financial analysis of the problems emerging from the current situation of the company Stavona spol. s.r.o. which produces plastic fillings. The first part provides theoretical findings in financial analysis and bankruptcy and reliability models. In the second part these are applied to the specific company. The final part is based on the results and proposes a complex solution and suggestions for the development and improvement of the company’s situation which might help secure its position in the market.
Evaluation of the Business Financial Situation and Proposals to its Improvement
Ježek, Ondřej ; Svoboda, Luděk (referee) ; Jakubcová, Marie (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the financial situation in Stavona, spol. s r.o., a company specializing in the production and sales of plastic fillings. The financial situation is assessed through a set of financial analysis indicators. The main focus is placed on the application of certain methods of financial and strategic analysis, diagnostics of strong and weak aspects of the company’s financial economy and a proposal as to the solution of trouble spots in company finance and strategy management.
Post-processing the results of the topology optimization with the level set technique
Ježek, Ondřej ; Kopačka, Ján ; Gabriel, Dušan
Topology optimization (TO) has come to the fore with the development of 3D printing. The most commonly used method is SIMP, a density-based approach, which outputs a per-element constant density field and thus requires post-processing to obtain the shape. Conventional post-processing methods extract optimized topologies in the form of brep models. It yields only C0 continuous geometries, which are usually not suitable for downstream applications such as prototyping, design validation, and design exploration. In this paper, we present a new post-processing method based on the level set principle that overcomes common post-processing issues, such as the lack of smoothness.

This research report TN01000024/08-V012 is an output of the subtask of the project TN1000024/08 Automation and production system optimization, one of the objectives of which is to develop methods of post-processing of topological optimization (TO) results in cooperation with MECAS ESI Ltd. Three different smoothing approaches are discussed: the Taubin method, volume representation using radial basis functions and smoothing by remeshing using the Netgen library.

The research report is an output of the sub-project TN1000024/08: Automation and production system optimization in cooperation with MECAS ESI Ltd on the development of methods for post-processing of topological optimization (TO) results. In this report a detailed survey of these methods is introduced as necessary tool for seamless integration of the results TO with subsequent numerical simulations and additive manufacturing. The selected method for post-processing based on a level-set approach using radial basis functions has been implemented and successfully tested on a well-known 2D Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm (MBB) beam test problem.
Assessment of post-processing capabilities in selected software for topology optimization
Ježek, Ondřej ; Kopačka, Ján ; Gabriel, Dušan
Topology optimization (TO) has come to the fore in recent years, especially with the development of 3D printing. Finite element systems often include TO functionality based on either\ndensity-based or level set methods. In the case of the first-mentioned method, the results of TO are further processed into geometry suitable for additive manufacturing. However, current\nprograms only include basic post-processing capabilities with minimal customization options. This paper will first briefly summarize the theoretical background of TO and post-processing\nmethods. Next, selected commercial TO programs will be compared from the perspective of shape post-processing. The final part will be devoted to applying the level set method for shape\npost-processing of a topologically optimized industrial robot gripper.
Optimization of 3D printing for Flexible Machines
Novotný, Jaroslav ; Kopačka, Ján ; Čertíková, Marta ; Joch, Jaroslav ; Ježek, Ondřej
The presented research report is the main result of the project task. It is concerned with the theory of topology optimization (TO), as well as with the overview of related methods, and with the description of algorithms. Further, our own algorithm of TO is described and complemented by 2D and 3D examples. The process of TO for a griper of flexible robots is demonstrated, including the subsequent TO post-processing, preparation of 3D print-file, and 3D printing. Properties of prints, when using various 3D printers, are analyzed and documented on printed samples, including a basic economic evaluation.
