Szabó, Tomáš ; Jarošová, Eva (advisor) ; Jusko, Roman (referee)
This thesis attempts to map out the negotiation strategies used by unskilled negotiators and among these, to identify those strategies which prevent such negotiators from achieving the most effective outcome. In highlighting such incorrect negotiating strategies, the thesis aims to steer academics away from using such strategies as part of their future teaching material on negotiation strategies. The theoretical aspect of this work describes the theory behind negotiating strategies and maps the features, styles and negotiation procedures which are used during negotiation. The practical part of the thesis interprets results gained from the research which was carried out. This research, which was conducted in the winter semester of the 2013/2014 academic year, involved the staging of bargaining games that were held over five separate sessions as part of the subject "Introductory training of social and management skills".

Tick-born aseptic meningoencephalitis and recovery of the patients to everyday life
JAROŠOVÁ, Eva
Tick-born meningo-encephalitis is a severe viral infectious disorder of central nervous system with growing prevalence. The various symptoms are present not only in the acute phase of the disease but also during the recovery phase and are quite often the cause for long term job disability. In my assignment I aim to map the influence on the quality of life for patients with tick-born meningo-encephalitis and the impact on the physical health as well as on the psychological, social and spiritual area. The aim is also to find the time interval needed for the return to common daily activities in correlation to the patient status before the onset of the disease and also to course of the disease. Last but not least I want also to find if the patients were vaccinated and in case of negative answer the reason for not being vaccinated. In correlation to the research goals the following questions were defined: 1.Which area was the most impacted by the disease: physical health, psychological, social or spiritual? 2.How long is the interval needed to come back to common daily activities? Is one year enough and was the health status before disease onset important determinant for the recovery? 3.Were the patients aware of the possibility for vaccination and what was the reason for negative attitude to this option? In this bachelor assignment the qualitative research was chosen using the technique of semi structured interview. The meningo-encephalitis disease has a significant impact on the physical health and from the holistic point of view it affects also the psychological, social and spiritual area. The various areas like the job and occupation, family interactions and free time activities are changed for certain time period. This means a lot of difficulties and problems not only in the personal or social life but also of economical nature thus being potentially existential issue. Apparently most responders have changed the perception of their quality of life.
Analysis of fluctuation in an international company
Jedličková, Jana ; Jarošová, Eva (advisor) ; Filipová, Alena (referee)
The goal of my diploma thesis is to find out the reasons of real and latent fluctuation of a specific team in an unknown international company. To reach the target I am linking up theoretical conclusions about employee's fluctuation and about other areas connected with that theme (i.e. company culture or selected personal processes) together with empirical research in the specific team. The reasons of real fluctuation are examined on former and leaving employees. Reasons of the latent fluctuation -- connected with gradual alienation leading to dissatisfaction and possible leave of the employee -- are examined thanks to five partial goals (selection of employees and psychological agreement; motivation and leadership; education and development of employees; reward system and career options). The real reasons of selected employees leaving the company are insufficient career options. Summary of findings about real and latent fluctuation and recommendations for team management are explained at the end of the study using SWOT analysis.

Kasanderová, Veronika ; Jarošová, Eva (advisor) ; Crkalová, Anna (referee)
The thesis deals with coaching and education of coaches as this form of developing and leading people is actually representing a new phenomenon. Coaching is not legislatively amended in Czech Republic what causes that anybody can call himself a coach. For this reason, three professional associations exist on Czech scene which associate professional coaches with required level of education acquired in specialized programs. One of those programs is "Academy of Coaching Excellence" which is the main topic of this thesis. Using qualitative research it was established that coach competencies of European Mentoring and Coaching Council were found in reflexions of participants of the program which should be followed by all coaches leaving the academy. In conclusion I also suggest recommendations that can further enhance not only the quality of program but also a quality of coaches.
