Mobile Machineries Used for Grinding of Aggregates and Recycled Materials from Building Waste
Hurník, Štěpán ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is the introduction to the problem of grinding natural materials and recycling building waste by mobile crushing machinery. The first part of work includes a detailed description of crushers themselves and differences between them. Next basic machine development is dealt with, as well as questions evoked by this topic. These questions are concerned with the mobility and problems of recycling. Further, there are current market offers for the preformance given. It deals with the parameters of the individual machines, on which their mutual comparison is given and displayed in graphs. The final part of the thesis consists of the general evaluation of machines for the above-mentioned purposes from different points of view: comparsion, market supply and a careful view into the possible future progress.
Derrick of the filling car of coke-oven battery
Hurník, Štěpán ; Plachký, Pavel (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with a proposed design of the derrick of the filling car of a coke-oven battery, which is used for working with unit loads, repairing and maintenance of the filling car and cleaning of the battery risers. In the first part a solution concept was chosen. For this concept a main steel structure was designed, which was controlled in stress analysis by the FEM program I-DEAS NX 11. Further, the main parts of the lifting and travelling mechanism were calculated using specified parameters. In the conclusion of this thesis the results summary of specified targets is stated. Assembly drawing is in the annex of this thesis.
Scruton's Concept of Musical Meaning
Hurník, Štěpán ; Dykast, Roman (advisor) ; Kubalík, Štěpán (referee)
The subject of the presented paper is Scruton's concept of musical meaning. The research is based on analysis of Scruton's crtitique of semiotic attitudes towards the problem of musical significance. From the semiotic point of view, music is regarded as a sign. On this basis, the meaning of music is described as a relation: music signifies by reference to something other than itself. Musical semiotics analyzes forms of this semantic relation and determines the nature of musical significance. Scruton's concept is built in opposition to this theory. Its presupposition is an a-semantic relation of musical significance, which is grounded in the listener's metaphorical experience of music. The musical meaning is not to be given by semantic relation but it is heard by the listener in the music itself. Thanks to this, Scruton states the meaning of music is found only in the musical structure. In order to achieve succesful formulation of Scruton's concept, it is necessary to analyze his particular critiques of the semiotic attitudes towards meaning of music. In this analysis, on the one hand Scruton's reasons why he denies semiotic approach towards research of musical significance will be clarified, on the other hand his asemiotic concept of the meaning of music will be presented and illuminated. The main...
