Design of Nature Trail in the Locatily Milská stráň near Bílichov Village

In the thesis, I propose a nature trail through the "Nature park Džbán" near the village Bílichov. I spent long time walking in this area and I really missed a nature trail there. I followed the paths throughout the Nature park, and now I tried to project the nature trail as I wanted to find it within this area. Aside from the formation of the trail I dealt with exploring the protected areas in the near neighborhood and especially some representative plant species that can be found there. Botanical Illustration - Bryophytes

This diploma thesis deals with Bryophyta studies as a part of curriculum at primary schools as well as at lower and upper grammar schools. It determines the field of studies and the expected outcomes in the Human and Nature subject matter, it searches for the link between bryophyta and cross-sectional topics. The relation of pupil's key competences to bryophyta is being reflected, too. It compares the subject range of Bryophyta in school books. Furthermore, the thesis sums up the history of botanical illustration in the world as well as in our country, it inquires into basic rules of botanical illustration and line drawing techniques. The contemporary field guides are completed by the means of the research of students' books, popular and specialist literature and internet portals. Based on the theoretical part, this diploma thesis determines the teaching methodology of bryophyta drawing. The list of bryophyta, which are suitable for line drawings and usable as a teaching aid, is based on the practical part of this diploma thesis. 43 author's drawings with uniform measuring scale are attached.

Title: Natural and Historical view of the area Dolní Poohří between Libochovice and Budyně nad Ohří. Abstract: This presented thesis deals with detailed characteristics of Dolní Poohří in the area between Libochovice and Budyně nad Ohří. The theoretical part presents a general research of the area from the natural scientific and historical points of view. It outlines geological and pedological situation of the area which influences plant composition. Majority of the thesis is dedicated to the ecosystem of bottomland woods and to their historical evolution in the area of Dolní Poohří. It focuses on the flora and dendroflora of the observed locality and links them to mutual connection. It also summarizes individual local species of vegetation. This thesis also describes the history of the area and points out especially castle area Libochovice and Budyně nad Ohří from the historical point of view. It offers a brief historical overview of modifications of castle garden and park, as well as their current situation and plant composition. In the practical part, an educational tourist trail from Libochovice to Budyně nad Ohří has been designed. Selected Botanical Gardens and Arboretums of Secondary Schools in the Czech Republic and Its Use in Teaching

This thesis deals with three selected school botanical gardens and two school arboretums in the Czech Republic. For each of the five selected units are provided basic informations, history, some of cultivated plant species, schedule of events and use in teaching. The next part of the thesis contains suggestions on the use of The Botanical Garden in Rakovník in teaching. Botanical gardens and arboretums are very important and interesting places. Their basic function is educational and aesthetic. It is very important that teachers perceive the need to teach biology partly in nature and not only in the classroom. Scientific evaluation of the some localities: The thesis Scientific evaluation of some of the locations is focused on detailed description of botanical conditions of this area and possible utilization of the gained knowledge in the education. The thesis has three parts. The first part is specialized in charasteristics of natural conditions of the area. The second part consists of description biotops of the area and summarises results of personal botanical research. The didactic part proposes utilization of the knowledge in the education and the posibility of the out-door fieldwork for pupils of basic school and secondary school. Suburban park Bažantnice (Kladno) in Botany and Dendrology Instruction

The topic of this thesis is forest park's Bažantnice mapping. The thesis suggests the way of aplication of botanic terrain education. Botany and dendrology is one of the main educations question on elementary and secondary school. Park Bažantnice can be used in science lesson for its hight potential. The thesis i s divided into two parts. The first of them summarizes differents types of the terrain education and focuses on didactic using of the park Bažantnice. The second one deals with the station mapping and describes way of data colecting and adapting. Accompanying pictures and generated maps are included in appendiced at the back of the thesis. Physiology of Plants in Elementary School Botany

This thesis on the topic "Physiology of Plants in Elementary School Botany" consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on a didactical analysis of the textbooks currently in use and integration of this topic in the valid curricular documentation. It also includes a research part, in which the possibilities of material visual aids used in science teaching are identified. The practical part makes use of these observations. A interactive CD, which includes worksheets on the main areas of plant physiology, has been created based on these observations. The worksheets are in educational text form, include gap-filling activities, and practical - with appropriate experiments. To these, methodology notes for teacher are supplied.
