Peter, the Apostle, the Believer and of Little Faith, in Response to Jesus' Epiphany on the Sea
Hovorka, Petr ; Brož, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Scarano, Angelo (referee)
Résumé Peter, the Apostle, both believer and of little faith in answer to Jesus' epiphany on the sea By Petr Hovorka This thesis is concerned with the passage of the Gospel according to Matthew (14, 22-36), which reveals Jesus' identity from two points of view. The miraculous event of Jesus "walk on the waves" presents Jesus as the Son of God with cosmic power over the created world, who, as the Father himself, can proclaim about himself: "I am". The following description summarizes Jesus power over illness and all evil and shows his healing power over everything, which endangers man in enjoying the fullness of life and happiness. The textual connection with the previous event of the multiplication of bread enables us to see the revelation of Jesus as the "new Moses", who first offers bread to his people (cf. Ex 16,4-15) and next he crosses the see (cf. Ex 14,15-22). The summary report about his healing activity resembles many others, which represent changeovers to following pericopes of Jesus' acts. Through reports as these, comparable to a chorus passage, the evangelist intends to remind the reader Jesus' basic gospelizing mission, which brings full salvation to mankind, in both body and soul. Further extensions of the text are offered by individual biblical experts, both by enlistment into various...

Local Charges in the Czech republic
Papay, Jindřich ; Sedmihradská, Lucie (advisor) ; Hovorka, Petr (referee)
In last years, in connection with a possible amendment to the Law on Local Fees, there has been talk of a change in spa or recreation fees and a charge on accommodation capacity. This diploma thesis aims to analyze the current state of local fees with a detailed focus on both tourist fees and to assess the impact of a possible change on Municipal budgets. The analysis is based on data from the Ministry of Finance's Information Portal Monitor. The data from the Ministry of Finance's Information Portal Monitor was chosen because the Ministry of Regional Development draws upon its analysis. A special part is devoted to the municipality of Janov. The analysis of the village is based on information, which was obtained from the representatives of the municipality during a personal interview. The diploma thesis concludes that impacts on individual municipalities are very disparate and that the impact assessment must be carried out individually. Surface modification fee change could have a negative impact on small municipalities. Furthermore, defining investment in tourism has also been problematic. Many municipalities report inaccurate data on tourism expenditure. Expenditure that is directly related to tourism is often not included in the cost items. It is therefore not possible to estimate how much municipalities invest in traveling. The best solution is to adjust rates where both fees remain optional.

Špelda, Miroslav ; Sedmihradská, Lucie (advisor) ; Hovorka, Petr (referee)
The main objective of this thesis is to analyze the quality of forecasts of tax revenues. Detail focuses on the town of Nachod, wherein by means of selected quantitative Methods I am trying to suggest potential estimate for tax revenues. Furthermore, based on publicly available data, analyze ten other similarly sized towns. Comparing prediction cities with the estimate of the Ministry of Finance and the reality. Based on these data, I am trying to prove or disprove the hypothesis that the city predicted earnings consistently underestimate, while the Ministry of Finance is overestimates. The results of the analysis of Nachod based on the possibility of more accurate predictions for income taxes using the method of exponential smoothing. For value added tax and land value tax, then using the method of average growth. The hypothesis can be confirmed only partially. Municipalities actually understate their income often. The Finance Ministry, however, in its prediction does not commit more frequent overstatement.

This bachelor thesis aims to find out how the two justice principles are fulfilled and which of them predominates in given situations. An important step towards achieving the results is the analysis of income in case of the value added tax and the income tax. The thesis focuses on the year 2014 and derives from the amendment to the Act concerning the tax assignment law (2013). The analysis showed that a profit principle is preferred among all the taxes, concerning valued added tax the most.
