The control system of the combustion system EKOGEM
Holešovský, Petr ; Lisý, Martin (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with automatic control of solid fuel boiler. Main goal of this thesis is to design control system for combustion system EKOGEM. In this thesis is introduced combustion system and its designed control. Thesis describes realization of control system and presents results, in which shows its benefits for combustion system. Control system is realized in NI LabVIEW environment.
Using the EtherCAT bus couplers in the development environment NI LabVIEW
Svoboda, Filip ; Šubrt, Kamil (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis focuses on EtherCAT fieldbus and its application by using NI LabVIEW. There are described the theoretical part of network elements designed for automation use in first part. Next part includes description of the EtherCAT and its advantages. There is described how NI LabVIEW accesses to this fieldbus in the next part. The real application developing process on the specific manipulator is treated then. It is controlled by the bus coupler. The results of the experiment are discussed in the last chapter.
Analysis of potential active damping for vehicles
Svoboda, Jakub ; Houška, Pavel (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the issue of active and semi-active damping and its possible applications in the context of vehicles. The beginning of the document is focused on the actual state, major applications and patents in the field. As each of the individual ways of usage is relatively specific, the next part is aimed particularly at the damping unit of bicycle. Given the choice, real measurements and simulations were made in order to verify the applicability of such a device in practice.
Operating software with web interface for programmable controllers
Matějka, Tomáš ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with developing of software, which allows access and control of programmable controllers through web interface. Software uses client server model and for communication between client and server is used Windows Communication Foundation interface which is integrated in Microsoft .NET Framework from version 3.0. Applications were written in C# programming language using .NET Framework libraries. Data visualization in web application was created by Microsoft Silverlight.
Oscillatory Power Generator Base on Mechanical Resonant Element
Mihalík, Vlastimil ; Houška, Pavel (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work deals with the power supply of wireless sensors. When using a wireless sensor is desirable application of alternative energy sources, because the primary cells or batteries may reduce the extent or length of service of the sensor itself. Ambient energy can be used as a suitable alternative source. This energy must be in an appropriate form, which allows its conversion to electric energy. These appropriate, already used types include: solar en., temperature gradient en., en. of flowing liquids, vibration, etc. The advantage of vibrations is its presence in almost all mechanical systems. One of the possibilities for using the vibration of machine systems for power supply wireless sensors is using the vibration power generator with oscillating component. The generator must be designed so that its resonance frequency coincides with the frequency of vibration in the machine system. This method can be used only if the machinery system vibrations at least partially constant. Another option is to use the vibrations caused by, for example, transit transport, or different step acting factor. In this case, it is desirable that the generator is designed with variable resonant frequency, which can partly be achieved, for example, integrating several oscillating component in the body of generator. After the general analysis of the problem, graduation theses will be concerned with the possibility of use of energy from the short damped oscillation and step impulse. Focusing on a proposal of multi-element structures.
Design of the absolute position sensors with Hall elements
Pikula, Jiří ; Andrš, Ondřej (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This work deals with possibilities of use of linear Hall sensors which are made as integrated circuit for construction of absolute sensors of position and rotary position. Hall sensors with permanent magnets allow a smaller construction. In this work there is described a design and solution of absolute linear sensor of position for linear drive of Stewart's platform and absolute sensors of rotary position for robotic manipulator Mini-swing. Use of these sensors adds many advantages, primary minimal size and high resolution.
Long-term accuracy and repeatability testing of linear positioning devices
Konečný, Mikuláš ; Šubrt, Kamil (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
Measuring the real performance of a linear motion actuators plays an important role in their design. It enables a thorough understanding of key elements of its design, which might cause unprecise actuation. This paper in cooperation with Thermo Fisher Scientific Brno s.r.o. aims to test one of its devices. The device is a single axis linear actuator that moves several different detectors inside a scanning electron microscope chamber. The main goal of experimental measurements is to evaluate the performance of anti-backlash nuts and their impact on precision and repeatability.
Leak testing of pneumatic components
Staňo, Martin ; Šubrt, Kamil (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of pneumatic components testing and air leakage measurement. The current state of the given issue is summarized based on the analysis of leak testing methods in accordance with valid legislation. The aim of this thesis is to design methods for pneumatic components testing according to specification. As part of method verification, a pneumatic circuit with a pressure control system has been assembled, on which functionality tests of provided components and leak tests by the pressure-drop method have been performed. The results of these tests have been subsequently evaluated as consistent with the specification.
Design of software for testing the thermostatic valves by EN215
Halmeš, Lucián ; Šubrt, Kamil (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis solves the control software for the flow characteristic test device. The work is also a brief study of thermostatic valves testing according to EN215 with focus on solved equipment.
Testing of heat sources combusting wood and woodchips
Staňo, Martin ; Lisý, Martin (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This master thesis focuses on the testing of the combustion equipment and the wood fuel combustion process. The aim of the thesis is to get acquainted with this issue and to analyze solutions for monitoring and control of heat source parameters according to valid legislation.
