Phenomenological conception of architecture of Christian Norberg-Schulz
Horáková, Tereza ; Ševčík, Miloš (advisor) ; Dadejík, Ondřej (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to present the theory of Norwegian theorist of architecture Christian Norberg-Schulz. The thesis focuses on the development of his mindset from analytical approach to the phenomenologically based premises. Norberg-Schulz's phenomenological conception, which was significantly influenced by philosopher Martin Heidegger, represents an innovative way of perceiving the field of architecture. Hence the space gains an existential dimension for Norberg-Schulz. The existential dimension along with the conception of specific place is the crucial concern of Norberg-Schulz's phenomenology of architecture. The thesis deals with this main Norberg-Schulz's conception of human spatiality and in conclusion confronts it with the situation of the contemporary architecture.

Thanks to these diagrams it was possible to receive optimization for needed data and to achieve set goals.
Application of operational research methods in selected company
Bílková, Jitka ; Kvasnička, Roman (advisor) ; Horáková, Tereza (referee)
This bachelor thesis discusses Queuing models one of many disciplines of operational research. At the beginning of theoretical part is introduced operational research and briefly described different disciplines. Then there are described queuing models and laid the theoretical basis, in which are explained main characteristics of queuing models. At the end of theoretical part is mentioned how to classify queuing models. In the practical parts is selected problem which will be solved using queuing models. This problem is servicing customers at the branch of company Česká pošta. From the obtained information is created queuing model, which is classify as M/M/c according Kendalls classification. On the created systems are applied analytical calculation and used simulation model. For simulation is used program MS Excel and randomly generated numbers. Process of creating simulation model is continuously recorded. Simulation model is running for 5000 customers to ensure that the results have adequate explanatory power. The created simulation model is found to be invaluable at the final comparison of results obtained from both approaches. Simulation model provides more information, that in analytical model are not available. These additional valuables information are use for the closing recommendation.
Simulation modelling to improve performance of selected publishing company
Musil, Ondřej ; Krejčí, Igor (advisor) ; Horáková, Tereza (referee)
This thesis focuses on system dynamics, which helps to facilitate decision-making for both, individuals and entire companies. The theoretical part focuses on the basic concepts of system dynamics and systems thinking, and it is necessary to understand this part before starting the practical part. The practical part is divided into two parts. Through the creation of causal loop diagram, there will be a look into the basic structure functioning publishing company, how they acquire subscribers, how many employees do they need and what are the incomes and expenses. In the second part, based on causal loop diagram, followed by a chart of stocks and flows, where the values of variables will be quantified and displayed interdependence. The practical part will be created in the computer program Vensim.
System approach to customer satisfaction and loyality in specific company
Šimůnek, Jiří ; Krejčí, Igor (advisor) ; Horáková, Tereza (referee)
Bachelor thesis deals with the application of system dynamics in customer loyality and satisfaction towards the company Florbal.com. The theoretical part briefly describes the history of the system dynamics, evolution and the definition of system dynamics. The theoretical part is focused on the change of linear thinking to nonlinear or system thinking and the description and significance of mental models. Described is also the creation causal loop diagram and the stocks and flows, the differences between the two diagrams and their advantages and disadvantages. In the practical part is creation of model in Vensim PLE software, at first was created causal loop diagram outlining how it could look like diagram stocks and flows, also reveal a feedback loops and the interaction toward the model. The next step is creating diagram stocks and flows, supplemented by mathematical functions and create several policies. The next step is to run simulations for each policy. Completion of the practical part is to interpret the results and recommendations of the most appropriate policy.
Simulation of infrastructure building impact on wine bar and candy store economic performance
Škoda, Dominik ; Krejčí, Igor (advisor) ; Horáková, Tereza (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the application of system dynamics to a small business, which has been affected by a sewage system construction in the past few years. The theoretical part of this thesis describes to a general description of system dynamics, including its history and development. It focuses on the definition of some of the basic terms used in system dynamics and specifies the difference between system and linear thinking. It also provides a description of tools used in system dynamics and a characterization of structures frequently used in practice and often used in complex models. The practical part gives information about the activity field and the conduct of the modelled business. It introduces modelled structures, created using Vensim PLE software, which helped to achieve the final aim of this Bachelor thesis. The stock and flow diagram scripts and the following result interpretation are included.
Simulation of development possibilities of Bonte store
Dzuriková, Nikola ; Krejčí, Igor (advisor) ; Horáková, Tereza (referee)
Bachelor thesis deals with the application of system dynamics to expand the company's profits through simulation software Vensim PLE. The theoretical part includes system dynamics, systems thinking and mental models. Described are views of linear and nonlinear thinking. The theoretical part is also aimed at describing the formation of cause-loop diagram and the stocks and flows. The practical part describes the creation of own simulation model that includes the causal loop diagram, stocks and flows diagram and the assessment of data that were obtained from the simulation. Stocks and flows diagram is complemented by a mathematical apparatus that allows the creation of different policies. A model displays the current status of revenue and inventory levels (stock) Bonte Store. The model solves two policies to increase the profits of the company. The practical part is focused on choosing the best policy to your company for the best results.
Application of system dynamics in selected municipality
Těžký, Vojtěch ; Krejčí, Igor (advisor) ; Horáková, Tereza (referee)
This work is focused on the application of the system dynamic in the selected municipal. In the first theoretical part is explained history, principles of the system dynamics. Furthermore, it is approached, its relation to systemic thinking, how it is necessary to change the view of the world and its functioning for the use of system dynamics. In the last section dedicated to system dynamics explains the basic archetypes of behavior. In the section that deals with municipal budgets are explained the principles on which it is based budgeting and also from which the components are made. The practical part is devoted to the assembly of the model and then evaluating the results of simulations of several scenarios. Two scenarios used for simulation were: Reducing expenditures for the proper repayment of debt, then the possibility of completing the pipeline network.
Evaluation of the suppliers of KVM Impex, s.r.o.
Popelík, Tomáš ; Houška, Milan (advisor) ; Horáková, Tereza (referee)
The bachelor thesis predominantly focuses on the use of multi-criteria decision analysis for the solution of the optimal selection of existing suppliers of a selected company. The objective of this thesis is to analyse data with methods of multi-criteria decision-making and to make a recommendation to the managing directors of a tire dealercompany. With the inflow of non-European suppliers (producers) who are entering the Czech market, it is necessary to closely followtheselected productportfolio of these suppliers. Consequently, it is essential to analyse it and to select, which suppliers are the most suitable ones, and then to strenghten and deepen mutualcooperation with these suppliers. The first part of the thesis is focused on a theoretical description of the Saaty Model, as well as of theAspiration Level Model, Scoring Model, Ranking Model, Weighted Sum Model and the TOPSIS Model, including practical examples of all these models. All mentioned models are then applied in the second part of this bachelor thesis. The elimination of suppliers with a narrow product portfolio was performed based on an analysis according to the Aspiration Level Model. The Saaty Model, theScoring Model, and the Ranking Modelfor the subjective criteria evaluation were used for the determination of the ranking of suppliers in the portfolio. This final suppliers ranking can be recommended to the company's decision-makers as the most suitable strategy for the deepening of the cooperation with suppliers.
