Analysis of Corporate Performance Using Mathematical Modelling and Computer System to the Support of Organization's Strategic Management

The main goal of this diploma thesis is to analyse financial productivity of a chosen company, to find deficiencies and suggest possibilities for improvement of the situation. First there is theoretical part consisting of an introduction of chosen financial indicators, such as profitability, indebtedness etc., and also a description of Maple, programme used for mathematical exercises. In the practical part there is a description of Brno company TRON, the business objective of which is LED lighting. The financial indocators are made in the programme Maple, the balance and also profit and loss accounts for a few consecutive years are analysed, from which we can determine the financial situation of the company. The result should help the chosen company with future decisions.

Charakteristika půdního pokryvu v okrese Kroměříž

Bachelor thesis is focused on the soil survey in the Kroměříž region. Studied soils belong to the cadastral areas Počenice-Tetětice and Uhřice u Kroměříže. We observed following physical and chemical properties - texture, soil reaction, buffering capacity, conductivity, carbonates content, nutrients content, humus content and quality. Furthermore, studied soils were evaluated by five-digit code (BPEJ) and soil price was determined. Our research showed that Pseudogleyic Fluvisol was classified in cadastral area Počenice-Tetětice. Haplic Luvisol was classified in cadastral area Uhřice u Kroměříže. According to the Systematic soil survey and land evaluation we came to the same conclusion.

This Bachelor thesis analyses the business environment. In the theoretical part the environment of the company, barriers and problems of the business are described. In the practical part this theory is applied to one specific company and the evaluation of the facts and a proposal of some possible options for improvement takes place at the end.

Pre-processing of acquired data for system identification purposes

The present bachelor’s thesis follows a methodology of data processing for the experimental system identification. Summarizes basic principles of experimental identification and describes a general methodology of experimental data processing. Next part of thesis attends to describing a building of compact data file, that contains selected variables including calculation of other important variables. Measurements to obtain experimental data was realized on real technology, which is a unit of biomass and phytomass combustion, power of unit is 1 MW. The work also includes selection and evaluation of appropriate intervals for an identification of this unit and their graphic presentation.

Aplikace různých metodik ocenění srovnatelných nemovitostí ve městě Mikulově

The thesis focuses on the method of property valuation of selected housing units located in the town of Mikulov. The first part provides an explanation of the basic concepts related to this matter, the differences between price and value, methods of property valuation and the characterization of the real estate market. In the second part, an actual valuation is performed and the selected housing units which were actually sold are described. The negotiated purchase price and the values determined by the method of direct comparison and administrative valuation are compared.

Analýza systému nakládání s odpadem ve vybraném subjektu

The thesis focuses on waste management system in TOPAGRA company, which is engaged in agricultural production. The thesis describes the history of waste management and the legislation mostly applied by waste management officers and company ecologists. Further, there are mentioned methods of waste management. This is followed up with characterisation of the area of interest and of the company. Monitoring of inputs and outputs has been mapped, and the types and volume of waste as well as the methods of waste management. The methods used for the evaluation of waste management included an environmental audit and a SWOT analysis. The audit discovered some discrepancies and the SWOT analysis generated some recommended strategies resulting in immediate and long-term solutions that should be implemented by the company. An immediate step I have recommended is to purchase some collecting vessels for the hazardous wastes warehouse; to dedicate an area for separated waste, and to rectify the rules for storing hazardous waste. The long-term measures include cooperation with the municipality in composting and with the introduction of the environmental management system.

Práce popisuje průběh realizace námořní přepravy, charakterizuje nejčastěji používané dokumenty tohoto oboru a vysvětluje jejich užití a funkce, které plní. Dále práce popisuje problémy, se kterýmí se mohou smluvní strany při realizaci námořní přepravy setkat, a chyby, kterých se mohou dopustit, včetně uvedení případných následků. Součástí práce je i rozbor konkrétních sporů z praxe.
