Wireless access system
Sekyra, Jaroslav ; Honzík, Petr (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes practical realization of entrance terminal, which enables transmission of data thanks to radio module ZigBee PAN4551 and Ethernet module Rabbit RCM3200. This entrance system uses Mifare RFID cards, with whose user will identify at the entrance terminal of the guarded object. Data are sent to server station by radio module ZigBee or Ethernet module Rabbit during demand of entrance. The database of all entrance rights of all users is stored on this server. Data system works up received data and sends them back to the terminal. One part of these data is the information about enabling of user entrance. The database system makes a list of passing through users. In the first part of this work whole conception of entrance terminal is suggested. Then basic demands of each block are described in details as well as their placement in guarded object. Next chapters describe basic function of terminal, electrical scheme, and system of power supplies for the access system. Also individual hardware components are chosen and described. In the on of the last chapter there is flow-process diagram of main loops for individual variants of terminal and interrupts functions from timer, serial link and external input from radio network MC13193 drawn. In the last chapter there is a show of server data application “AccessServer” and his basic description.
PDA software for robot soccer
Uhlíř, Luděk ; Honzík, Petr (referee) ; Hrabec, Jakub (advisor)
Robotic soccer is a game like a real soccer but here the game is played by robots. The rules are the same, only there are few exceptions (foul, penalty kick, stalemate situation). Game is running without the human intervention. Just a human referee is supervising the game. Two teams are attending the game. Each of them has a control computer. The control computer is the brain of the game. It has a camera, it is making decisions for the next step of robots and sending them configuration data. The thesis deals with testing of communication interface and designs the new communication protocol for the next generation of the robots. The testing is provided by pocket pc Palm TX. It will send data over the Bluetooth interface to the control pc and will configure particular constants, like constants of PID regulator and an address of a robot. This will be provided by the IrDA interface.
Modelování sebeadaptujících se propojených prvků v Matlabu/Simulinku
Bartosinski, Roman ; Daněk, Martin ; Honzík, Petr ; Kadlec, Jiří
Recent developments in the digital technology make it cheaper and thus more accessible to an ordinary citizen. Currently almost any everyday device (car, fridge, cell phone) equipped with an electronic intelligence uses a programmable processing element. As the number of such networked devices will likely increase, and given the increased stress on low power consumption due to more strict environmental limitations, it is necessary to research novel techniques to program and use electronic devices more efficiently. This paper presents a framework for building and modeling new-generation self-adaptive systems. The first part of the paper describes an FPGA platform that implements a self-adaptive computing networked entity (SANE) that forms the basic element of the approach. The second part of the article describes a simulation and implementation framework in Matlab/Simulink for developing SANEs in FPGAs.
Analysis and Implementation of Dynamic Reconfiguration for FPGAs
Honzík, Petr
This paper describes platform for dynamic reconfiguration on an FPGA with embedded microcontroller. The platform is divided to the hardware and software parts. A microcontroller is initiator of the reconfiguration process. A reconfiguration controller drives autonomously the reconfiguration process. The ronfiguration bitstreams and programs are stored in an external memory connected to the FPGA.
Podpora dynamické rekonfigurace pro AVR
Honzík, Petr
This paper presents a software core for an universal econfiguration system-on-a-programmable chip platform based on Atmel AT94K FPSLIC with an external FLASH memory. The AVR core controls basic functions that together with the FPSLIC platform creates a transparent infrastructure for software-driven FPGA reconfiguration.
