Access Control System Utilizing NFC and Arduino Microcontroller
Hájek, Jaroslav ; Štůsek, Martin (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis focuses on acces systems including administration of locks, groups of users, users and their identities. For simple implementation of the system have been created four significant elements of the project: a web interface Locker, an application server Authentizer, MySQL database and an Android application. The web interface is used for system administration and included communication with the database. The server application is used for a communitation between the Locks and the MySQL database. The pivotal role of the server application is verification identities of users. The sever application and the database are used as publishing API. Android application is used as identity instead of identity card.
Research on Reliable Low-Power Wide-Area Communications Utilizing Multi-RAT LPWAN Technologies for IoT Applications
Quality of service assurance using the MPLS protocol
Henzl, Václav ; Novotný, Vít (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this semestral thesis is to create a MPLS network model using OPNET Modeler program and consecutive simulation of this network behavior with focus on quality of service assurance. This project contains also theoretical introduction to the MPLS network problematic and quality of service assurance - hereafter it is focused on simulation and analysis of data flows in extended communication network model with focus on Voice Over IP parameters. This thesis is discovering attributes of MPLS with respect to network traffc.
SDN in LAN networks
Kříž, Daniel ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Slavíček, Karel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is devoted to the problem of Software Defined Networks. It describes the concept of SDN, the OpenFlow protocol, which is an integral part of this issue, and lastly is mentioned the concept of NFV. The goal is to research this issue, gather information about the available open source controllers and choose the most suitable ones. Furthermore, a proposal for the implementation of the laboratory task and a~list of available components have to be created. The final task is to construct and test laboratory task and then with help of this knowledge create laboratory manual.
Mobile Application for Controlling Smart Home Devices
Masár, Andrej ; Smékal, David (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is the issue of the Internet of Things and its application as a Smart Home. The work describes the design and implementation of a native mobile application for Android to control the elements of a Smart Home. The application communicates with the Smart Home using the MQTT protocol. The resulting application demonstrates the control of devices in a Smart Home according to the MQTT2GO convention.
Creation of network drivers for the Windows family of operating systems
Krkoš, Radko ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Růčka, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis describes the approach in designing and implementing a driver marking network traffic for quality of service provision. In the beginning distinct technologies usable for the driver development are discussed and compared to each other while the most suiting candidate is chosen for driver development. Next the thesis discusses the design of the driver according to specification and depicts a list of more specific requirements affecting the driver design itself. The focus point in design is the least possible impact on network traffic performance and the running system itself. In addition to the driver an application programming interface usable from user mode is designed and so the system as a whole ensures the marking of network traffic entirely. In the end the created driver architecture is described and the application programming interface is described in terms of use.

Generation of data units in OPNET Modeler environment
Mikulica, Vladimír ; Skořepa, Michal (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
This dissertation deals with the generating of data units at different levels of TCP/IP network model in OPNET Modeler environment. A part of the dissertation is a brief introduction to the simulation environment OPNET Modeler where important components of this comprehensive simulation software are elucidated. The structure of my dissertation reflects individual layers of the model TCP/IP, whereas the function of the process model OPNET Modeler and the data unit used at corresponding levels of TCP/IP is always described. Particular parts of communication models that were created in the simulation environment OPNET Modeler at selected layers of the network model TCP/IP are closely documented in each chapter. Relevant scenarios are described in such a way that they can be later re-arranged by eventual customers.
Verification of the statistical reliability of simulation results in OPNET Modeler environment
Fördős, András ; Vajsar, Pavel (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
Project is focused to verify the credibility of the results of statistical simulation in the surround of OPNET Modeler. At the beginning of the project is a short introduction to the problematic of OPNET Modeler. It describes the basic concepts of mathematical statistics, data types and some basic statistical charakteristics. In the project was created model of LAN network, were set up three different types of runs and several monitored statistics. In this project are listed setting of the model, startup parameters of some runtime simulations, prefered variety of statistics and the possibility to display final results of statistics. Description of options displaying final results of statistics is supplemented by model characteristics. Created model was further extended and modified. Have been added network services, has changed the number of nodes and the duration of the simulation. Results of analysis of the original scenario are compared to the results of a modified scenario, which are scheduled. At the end of this project are obtained result, recommended way and form of displaying basic statistics and advice on the number of simulation runs needed to obtain reliable results.
System Log Analysis for Anomaly Detection Using Machine Learning
Najpresnejší výkon podali modely Klasifikátor rozhodovacích stromov, Jednotriedny podporný vektorový stroj a model Hierarchické zoskupovanie, ktoré správne označili 93,95%, 85,66% a 85,3% anomálií v uvedenom poradí.
