Physiotherapy Education in Europe: Quality of Life and Quality of Education among Physiotherapy Students

The aim: The aim is to investigate the quality of life and education of physiotherapy students at three international universities: Charles University, Prague; Savonia University of Applied Science, Kuopio and University of Milan, Milan. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was made using a questionnaire survey. It took place in two phases - 1st for representatives, 2nd for students. The questionnaires were compiled in English combining existing ones. The version for representatives was created as a WORD document, students responded online via SURVIO.cz portal. Data were analysed using averages, t-test and ANOVA F-test, Fischer's exact test and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: Students show difficulties in some aspects of quality of life. 50% of students report moderate/high levels of stress, more often Italians and women. The Covid- 19 pandemics negative effect on mental health and physical activity is reflected in total by 78% and 71.7% of students, respectively, however Finn students considered pandemics effect negligible. 53.3% of students sleep 7 or more hours.. The effect of the three week's comprehensive intensive rehabilitation program in the aftercare of the patients with the acquired brain damage

The department of aftercare was opened this year at the clinic of rheumatology and rehabilitation. This department is focusing on providing comprehensive intensive health care in the fields of rehabilitation and physical medicine, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, clinical speech therapy and clinical psychology in the fields of rehabilitation and physical medicine in a minimum of 4 to 8 hours a day. The main aim of this study was to verify the effectiveness of this three- week comprehensive intensive rehabilitation program of patients with acquired brain damage. The study included 7 participants (2 women, 5 men, aged 66.14 ± 19.01 years). 3 participants were excluded from the analyzes due to a short stay in the ward (2 participants left at their own request, 1 participant was dismissed for good health). Four probands were evaluated (1 female, 3 males, aged 55.5 ± 18.76 years, 3 after stroke and 1 with four-chamber hydrocephalus). Choosing a career of a nurse

This disertation is focused on problems of a nurse profession choice. The aim of this work is to map out social and personal aspects of the first stage of a professional orientation. External (social) and internal (personal) categories are very close, they influence each other and they are affected by many conditions. The task of a part of this work was to record differences in chosen variabilities of adolescents in individual school grade s and to map some differences in the results of Ms Gabrielová research from 1991. In an empirical retrospective study we tried to explain casual nexus on the basis of a quantitative data processing. A statistical selective group was made up by 422 respondents-students of three medical schools who attended a full-time nurse study in an academic year 2003/2004. Intra-research we produced a new implement called A questionnaire for students of secondary medical schools. Our research verified the principle hypothesis which conserned more general relations and inc1uded more partial hypothesis.
