Haptic Feedback System and its Reliability
Horpatzká, Michaela ; Hlinka, Jiří (referee) ; Janhuba, Luboš (advisor)
This master thesis covers conceptual design of haptic feedback system and safety and reliability assessment. System is developed for aircraft categories UL2, EASA CS-LSA, EASA CS-VLA and EASA-CS-23. Conceptual design is divided into three parts. First is aimed on haptic system test with simulator. Second is conceptual design of haptic system for in-flight test. Third part contains safety and reliability assessment and summarizes problems of haptic system installation in real aircraft.
Conceptual design of high performance glider with electric propulsion (in complience with EASA CS-22)
Hlůšek, Josef ; Sklenář, Filip (referee) ; Hlinka, Jiří (advisor)
This master's thesis is focused on conceptual design of glider with electric propulsion system following the CS-22 regulation. Statistical analysis of the glider with an auxiliary electric engine has been carried out in order to determine basic design parameters for conceptual design. Based on analytical drag polar, the flight performance parameters are calculated, in particular flight range and influence of the solar panels on the flight range. This thesis also includes preliminary design solution of accumulator placement within the wing.
Modern avionics system architecture for EASA CS-23 airplane
Vaňousová, Jana ; Hlinka, Jiří (referee) ; Janhuba, Luboš (advisor)
This master thesis covers with the modern architecture of avionics system for EASA CS-23 AIRPL. The thesis contains EASA CS-23 and EU-OPS analysis and market analysis of avionics systems for this category of aircrafts. The thesis also includes the design of avionics system architecture and its safety and reliability assessment – used tool is Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). At the end of the thesis there is assesment of potential attack of the avionics system by third part.
Optimization of Hydraulic System and its Components for Commuter Category Airplanes
Kameník, Luboš ; Rousek, Miroslav (referee) ; Hlinka, Jiří (referee) ; Třetina, Karel (advisor)
The dissertation thesis deals with optimization of the selected areas of the hydraulic system for small and medium transport aircrafts. Newly developed small aircraft EV-55 is a representative in the category of the small aircrafts . The selected areas of the hydraulic systems , important and useful for domestic producers of the hydraulic devices and whole hydraulic systems for the airplane EV-55 , are subjected to optimization efforts in the dissertation thesis. Design parameters of the hydraulic system (type of hydraulic source, level of pressure, weight of connecting tube), hydraulic devices ( tribology, machining process), simulation of the servomechanism and areas of diagnostic of technical status of the hydraulic system are optimized in the dissertation thesis.
ALTERNATIVE PROPULSION FOR AIRCRAFT OF GENERAL AVIATION CATEGORY
U každého z nich bude uvedeno výhody a nevýhody, hlavní změnu pohon letadla nebo výfukového systému a různé výkonnosti letadla v důsledku těchto změn.
A model of a civil Atransport Aircraft Automatic Precise Approach & Landing Control System using DGNSS Information
Hvězda, Michal ; Jalovecký, Rudolf (referee) ; Hlinka, Jiří (referee) ; Vosecký, Slavomír (advisor)
LPV approaches are being published in the Czech Republic nowadays. Their usage is enabled by the EGNOS European satellite augmentation system. However, published decision heights do not allow equivalence with the ILS CAT I precision approach yet. This work presents the model of automated control of aircraft precision approach. Verification of its functionality shows that applicable airspace requirements can be fulfilled for lower values of decision heights than values already published. The model is developed using contemporary methods of model-based development in the tool supporting common processing of both continuous and discrete signals. Although model architecture follows the structure of commonly used ILS system in definition of coordinate system and in establishing control in two separate directions it allows curved approach. Usage of digital navigation data provided by satellite system opens further opportunities in its usage, expansion and improvements. Model functionality in control of flight course, position and height control is verified in the scenarios covering detailed thesis goals. The goals were defined based on definition of precision approach process and include navigation signal drop-out, impact of wind, various flight path angles and curved approach. Analysis of behavior of controlled aircraft dynamics was a stimulator for research of specific system modules up to the application level, i.e. specific simulations of successful precision approaches.
Modern Maintenance Procedures for Airframe Inspections for General Aviation Category Aircraft
Koštial, Rostislav ; Petrásek, Miloslav (referee) ; Třetina, Karel (referee) ; Hlinka, Jiří (advisor)
Aircraft scheduled maintenance requirements are rapidly extending and developing due to rapid evolution of small aircraft. This evolution leads to implementation of until recently exclusively airliner class maintenance standards. In the field of general aviation and FAR 23/ EASA CS-23 especially, preventive maintenance based on part replacing or repairing is still dominant. DAMAGE TOLERANCE philosophy implementation into an aircraft design influences maintenance procedures, which are adjusted to older SAFE LIFE philosophy. Aircraft manufactures are developing new ways, how to integrate requirements of damage tolerance application into scheduled maintenance procedures. Huge airliner manufactures (FAR 25/ CS-25) are using the ATA MSG-3 intelligent maintenance approach based on inspection. This dissertation thesis develops intelligent scheduled maintenance methodology, utilizing ATA MSG-3 procedures, expert knowledge and Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA).
The Landing Gear design for RAPID 600 aircraft
Chren, Tibor ; Hlinka, Jiří (referee) ; Píštěk, Antonín (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design of retractable landing gear for Rapid 600 aircraft. The main purpose of this thesis is to analyze different retraction options for front and main landing gear and resulting selection of suitable variants. The thesis is consequently concerned with design of selected options including proposal of automatic landing gear control system and specifying the features and characteristics of this system. In the thesis there is also included the analysis of critical flight conditions which could be detected by this system.

Navrátilová, Karolína ; Hlinka, Jiří (referee) ; Vosecký, Slavomír (advisor)
The aim of presented bachelor thesis is produce study aid on the topic global satellite navigation systém GLONASS 2018+. The work deals with the development of the system itself and signals, navigation messages and individual system segments, that makes up the system as a whole. The work also includes an overview of current development and direction of future development, as well as overview of navigation metods where the services of the GNSS are used. Part of the work is devoted the developing european´s sattelite system Galileo and american system GPS. The last chapter deals with four important criteria, i.e. availability, integrity, continuity and accuracy where the systems of GNSS are compared.
