Adventures on waves or the cruise of the amateur radio crew in the turbulent history of history in 1945-1995
Tobiška, Roman ; Krátká, Lenka (advisor) ; Hlaváček, Jiří (referee)
The thesis aim is to open an imaginary window into the world of specific activities of radio amateur enthusiasts in the period 1945-1995 from the position of perception of this hobby by its actors-radio amateurs, and by this optics to approach some aspects of metamorphic developmental transformation on the background of historical development. Observing the effects of a concurrent varied spectrum of different influences on the development of this community through the interpretation of narratively accented themes will reveal in the historical reflection the process of change in the radio amateur community. The primary concern, therefore, is to look into the transformation of the community through interpretations of narratively accented dynamic themes and, in some cases, indirectly, in some details, point out the implications of the political activity of the then hegemonic forces as its then-defining platform. Within this framework, the outline will outline not only the political-historical context in the sense of the specific interest and professional share of the radio amateur phenomenon on historical events, but also other layers of influence spectrum. By looking at their interaction with political influences, they will try to reveal the backdrop of the hobby and the many layers of this hobby through the...

Alternative econoical approach to the phenomenon of altruism
Štika, Pavel ; Hlaváček, Jiří (advisor)
In this paper I propose a possible solution which can enable economics to tackle the phenomenon of genuine altruism motivated purely by an interest in welfare of the others. In the second chapter I suggest methodological basis, which enables us to handle the issue. Inspired by post-classical streams of economic thought I come out from the concept of methodological realism leading to an organismic perception of men. Habitual behaviour is then identified as a response of procedurally rational individual to the environment of fundamental uncertainty. In the third chapter I further enlarge perceiving of men by the conception of Jung's psychology of personality and the theory of cognitive dissonance. Distorting influence of the unconscious part of psyche and conceptual way of reality perception enhance importance of habits. Interpretation of habits is - beside behavioural habits - widened by habits called perceptional. In the fourth chapter I present a brief overview of two motivation theories - motivation coming out from Maslow's approach of hierarchization of needs and motivation coming out of the theory of habit bolstering. In the fifth chapter I propose a model, which reflects all the facts mentioned above. As an optimal response to the model environment I identify certain form of altruism represented by...
