Unconscious processes in the supervision of professionals working with people with borderline personality disorder

A qualitative research study inspired by the grounded theory method, analyzing four semi- structured interviews with experienced, psychodynamically oriented supervisors, concerning the possibility of differentiating unconscious phenomena in the supervision of helping professionals, based on the diagnosis of assisted clients. The study is closely focused on the manifestations of supervisors in unconscious processes in supervision, working with people with borderline personality disorder. How are the topic of professional ethics recurring in the process of supervision of social services?

The thesis is focused on the topic of professional ethics in social services and its reflection in the supervisory process. The thesis is divided into two parts, the interpretation and the research, and aims to explore the topic of professional ethics in social services in the supervisory process from the perspective of supervisors. Research is conducted using qualitative research strategies, through interviews with eight supervisors. The data analysis brings several conclusions, one of them is the fact that supervision is essential for the professional ethics of social workers. Supervision contributes in that social work is based on a more conscious professionalism and less on intuition. This all brings a more comprehensive picture of the influence of supervision on the compliance with professional ethics in social services. Managerial competence in social and health services focused on drug addicted clients

The Master Thesis, which is called Managerial competence in social and health services focused on drug addicted clients is formed by two sections. The main goal is "Ideal manager of services fufused on drug addicted clients". The theoretical part is concerned on drug addiction, services in Czech republic, especially in Prague, social and health care and competence, which are join in it. In these chapters are described some definitions and goals. The practical part is based on quantitative research for managers. These managers were asked about their opinion and some hard data about manual and competences about thein organization. There are some recomandation and plan of ideal manager fot these services in the conclusion.
