Self-tuning control of electric motor
Havlíček, Jiří ; Blaha, Petr (referee) ; Pohl, Lukáš (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the self-tuning PSD controllers. The parameters of the model are obtained by a non-recurring method of least squares. With the assistance of the Matlab/Simulink programme, the individual processes of the PSD controller are compared on a second order system. In the thesis, a simulation of the self-tuning cascade control of PMSM‘s current and speed loop is created. The following part of the thesis covers the implementation of individual algorithms on the dSPACE platform for the real PMSM.
Anthology of Unspoken: Surreal Complexity of Mind
Hrádková, Jana ; Havlíček, Jiří (referee) ; Macháček, Mikuláš (advisor)
The diploma thesis Anthology of Unspoken is a form of personal therapy, a coping mechanism in the shape of an extensive personal research presented by visually eclectic web, which maps the perception of depression and melancholy in terms of historical, artistic, and partly academic discourse. AoU takes the form of a website on the border of an archive and a research blog, which visually reminds a notebook with the use of texts in the form of notes, reader view essays, and accompanying visual material (period paintings, pop-cultural references, emoticons etc.). This diploma thesis has two main goals. Firstly, it represents a way of finding means to articulate and at least fractionally understand my own problems. Secondly, it is a way of finding answers to the following questions: Is depression really a modern matter of the 21st century? Why is it so difficult to talk about it? Where do the shame and feeling of guilt, with which it is inextricably associated with, come from? Is melancholy synonymous with depression, or do these terms differ from each other? And is depression really a disease or is it only a sign of my own failure?
Czech Essence
Trefilová, Darina ; Havlíček, Jiří (referee) ; Kollarová, Denisa (advisor)
Czech Essence focuses on the research of Czech cultural and national identity in the environment of social networks. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part is an analysis of four social networks: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter, focusing on the codes of Czech cultural and national identity. The second part is the creation of digital 3D objects in the form of face filters depicting Czech cultural identity. These face filters are also used as a research intervention into the view of Czech national and cultural identity in the social media environment.

REALITY
Kadlčák, Šimon ; Havlíček, Jiří (referee) ; Sterec, Pavel (advisor)
My diploma project at Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno Reality is based on video docummentation of football fans, shot at the match of 24th round of the 1st Czech football league between Slavia Praha and Hradec Kralove in spring 2017. Presentation form of multi-channel installation enables the viewer to watch parallel actions. The center whole shot displays the tribune of Slavia ultras as massive, highly-coordinated collective body. Simultaneously filmed detailed shots display individual diversity, invisible in the image of the whole. Using the method of juxtaposition, I pose questions on the nature and relationship of an individual and collective. Depending on current perspective,, the individual might seem as independent on the collective, or it might easily seem to be firmly linked together. In the Documentation of Diploma Thesis I suggest several ideas on the individual/collective relationship: the role of cultural and other dependance, the nature of time, or the role and relevance of glance and observation.

First part of the thesis searches for the history of Live Cinema from the film point of view. Second part searches for the same, but from the theatre point of view. Last part is dedicated to my own personal experiences of creating Live Cinema in the film-theatrical way.
Feasibility study for the upgrade of LMS Moodle
Havlíček, Jiří ; Husa, Jiří (advisor) ; Karel, Karel (referee)
Bachelor thesis "Feasibility study for the upgrade of LMS Moodle" deals with the analysis of data and database structures of Moodle versions 1.4 and 3.0, their mutual compatibility and the possibility of transferring from an older version to the new one. The theoretical part introduces the basic software components required for proper function of LMS Moodle environment, their characteristics with the possible justification for their selection and use. The practical part compares the specific differences in data and database structure of both versions, which ultimately appears to be completely different, i.e. non-transferrable from the old version to the new LMS Moodle. The practical part also step by step describes official upgrading procedure which is recommended by LMS Moodle developers. Thesis is concluded by summarizing the test results and subsequent recommendation of the general procedure for upgrading the website. This upgraded web environment could offer more modern look and use of the new features to all students, teachers and visitors.
